Description
Issey Miyake is launching two well known editions decorated with green leaves, which celebrate and announce summer. Bluish shades of glass flacon are embellished with large green leaves embracing it and wrapping the bottom part of the bottle and outer cartons. This dynamic and refreshing game of colors represents perfectly the game of aromas offered to us by this composition unselfishly.
Inspiration for the new editions is desert, palms and tranquility. Peaceful regions, full of exotics and warmth will mark the new fragrant duo by Issey Miyake.
Aquatic notes abound in freshness and energy, are in harmony with flowers, aromatic herbs, citruses, spices, wood and amber.
Women’s edition L’Eau d’Issey Pour Femme Eau de Toillete Pour L’Ete 2012 carries its characteristic floral-aquatic story with accentuated fruity-juicy and aquatic accords of pear surrounded with delicate roses. The bottle retains the shape of previous edition and is decorated with new spring and vibrant details.
Available as 100ml edt.

The Issey line is uniquely wonderful, but this one in particular is THE BEST!!!!
So crisp and fresh and delicious. That Issey white musk at just the right level, but less floraley than the original.
Summer awesomeness to the max in a beautiful bottle. If I ever come across this discontinued gem again I am buying it for suresies

I bought this in Summer of 2012 and I wear it now and then. I think of it more as a Winter scent as it is warmer and more woody than others I own. I wear this when I want greater staying power because this scent will stay for days. The top notes remind me of geranium flowers wet leaves and flower sap. There is also a deeper note of apricots and fresh bark.
I find it a little too sweet and floral for my taste. It is very similar to the original LÉau D’Issey although slightly more syrupy.

God, this fragrance is so beautiful! It’s so light and warm, fresh and exhilarating, fragrant and tranquil at the same time. It envelopes you so softly. It makes you feel refreshed on a hot day. It’s so exquisite and elegant, feminine and sophisticated. It makes me feel happy and content. Great staying power. Such a shame it’s discontinued. Hopefully they’ll come up with something similar.

I love this perfume.. it so calming and the notes are totally different from all the perfumes I have. It has this unique smell that will make wanna go flirty…however it only last up to 3 hours

I like this fragrance a lot, but I don’t love it enough for it to be one of my favourites. I got a 100mls bottle for a bargain price on offer at £28 GBP.
I wear this to work sometimes, as its a cheaper alternative to my signature scent, Ralph Lauren Romance.
Its clean and fresh smelling, quite cool, quite aquatic and perhaps a little sharp at first. Its definitely a summer scent. It reminds me of being in a park, its an outdoorsy, fresh cut grass kind of smell, perfect for daytime wear.
Oddly, I get lots of compliments from women when wearing this, but my boyfriend is not keen on it.
This is quite long lasting, and I often can still smell this on my clothes at the end of the day.
Its not one I would rush out to re-purchase, but its pleasant enough to wear until the bottle runs out!
Karismatic – :
yes i could get the cut grass too…and then it turned into a rotting bouquet of all kinds of flowers! in fact mostly rotting jasmine.
Alas! my search for a fresh yet sexy perfume for the indian swealtering heat continues.
alena_velikaya – :
yeah… instead of relaunching le feu – it stamps out 100 versions of l’eau… sad…
WareePeve – :
It smells like the original!Whats the difference?
antidott – :
The more I smell it, the more I like it. Which is pleasantly surprising, because I usually don’t like scents this fresh. In the beginning it reminds me of fresh cut grass, afterwards it smells like flowergarden after rain 🙂

Why does Issey Miyake launch a perfume that is exactly the same as something they had only just launched last year in 2011? The ingredients listed here in the perfume pyramid are exactly the same as L’Eau d’Issey Eau d’Ete. The only difference between the 2 is the bottle.
