Description
The assembly is very simple, without the use of top notes of fresh species, such as neroli or bergamot which became fashionable a century later. To create Queen Margot’s perfume as a contemporary perfume, Nicolas de Barry had to reconstitute or mimic these elements that no longer exist on the market like cold jasmine enfleurage or natural musk.
Based on an almost honeyed amber and a sensual slightly spicy musk, the perfumer added a floral note distilled with fresh jasmine with a more powerful top note; a brighter, more sensual, very narcotic and addictive jasmine. L’eau de la Reine Margot was launched in 2003. L’eau de la Reine Margot was created by Nicolas de Barry and Eddy Blanchet.
