Realistic, fridge-cool cucumber with no great complexity but a nice green glug of gazpacho for a hot day if you crave that cold, juicy feel. So watery-splashy that it doesn’t hang on for long – the real vegetable zing is over in under an hour – and after a couple more it modulates into a slightly detergent-y white muskish sort of thing, barely there but still fine, but this phase is a bit less refreshing and just a hair too synthetic for my personal taste. Not out of this world, not as amazingly lovely as some of the other Phaedons (it’s a terrific house overall imho) – but a great splash of freshness and a good slap of refreshment if you need a perfume to really fight muggy, suffocating heat.

Though I risk sounding overly simple, upon taking the first wiff of this scent, it instantly gave me a flashback of powder detergent. Try as I might, I can’t find any cucumbers in this. It’s extremely clean and crisp but definitely not boring, on the contrary – it’s eye opening like a cup of coffee. If you have to be wide awake for a meeting and didn’t have your caffeine intake yet, just spray this under your nose. Not only will it wake you up, but it will make others turn around and want to find out who this professional, put together person is.

An interesting if somewhat synthetic fragrance that is pleasant, has moderate silage and longevity, and seems to go well on a hot summer day.

As stated in the title simple and cucumber. A very good interpretation of freesia, a cold aqueous floral.

I get a lot of mint and especially cucumber, very fresh morning scent, for what it is it’s great, very green and slightly sweet perhaps good for the summer. I don’t get much leather or musk.
