I never cared for Tuscan Leather that much, and now I’m just fed up with all the clones.. This ($45/30ml) is just another unnecessary addition to many.
*However, if this is your cup of tea, I recommend La Yuqawam Homme (~$80/75ml), which is richer than TL, not to mention its gorgeous packaging. If you simply want a cleaner softer version or a dirtier (and not much better) version, pick up Golden Boy or Montale ($100/100ml). Godolphin is the best option if you want to spend a little more; it’s got both the luxury aspect and wearability ($150-200/125ml).
On another note, there hasn’t been a successful Oud Wood dupe till Dua’s Bois Oudh (not on Fragrantica yet); it’s almost identical with a woodier and less creamy drydown (while OW stays linear)!

After few try!!! ….starting to like this juice….love both La Yuqawam n Leather Oud from Dua….anyway Dua Fragrance causing a huge hype in fragrance world….buying a lot from this house….price is reasonable but the size is to small….they manage to ‘ duplicates’ expensive juice to an affordable one…..WELL DONE
chern – :
Well, i guess i don’t need to try La Yuqawam now!
This is a very good clone of Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. As previously mentioned the raspberry is less sweet here, and lends to the leather’s masculinity.
My review of Tuscan Leather is that “it smells like my Grandpa’s old leather bomber jacket”, but honestly THIS one smells more like that jacket due to the lessened sweetness.
I could see both men and women wearing this fragrance, but i feel Tom Ford’s version leans toward the ladies, and this one tips its brim toward the gent’s side.
I’m extremely pleased with this fragrance, and with this house overall. If you’re looking for that aged, tattered leather smell then look no further!
*edit in: This scent lacks the “cocaine” smell that many have mentioned with Tuscan Leather, to which i kind of agree. But yeah, that coke-note is not here.

Awful cheap nasty synthetic stuff. guessing it’s worth about 20p.
gross mix of the cheap “smell a like” oils mixed with some alcohol.
of course it performs better the oil sticks to your skin for hours! gross stuff.

Dua Fragrances Leather Oud is already known to either be a clone of, or bear some resemblance to, Tom Ford’s vaunted Tuscan Leather, the dirty leather / raspberry so beloved by many in the community.
It’s an easy comparison to make given that the dirty leather accord is pretty consistent between both fragrances. Where they different (significantly enough that I can tell them apart) is in the sweetness of the raspberry, which is much more subtle and vague in Leather Oud than in Tuscan Leather. This distinction makes Leather Oud a little more generic, and little dirtier and less sweet.
Performance is very strong, and the scent itself is overall very nice. I’d certainly give some consideration to purchasing this but leathers are always a tough sell for me, even with the generally exceptional value that Dua Fragrances provide.

Leather oud is Duas version of Tuscan Leather and as far as Tuscan clones go, it’s one of the better ones. As my friend Mohit mentioned below smells a lot like pre IFRA Tuscan Leather. My favorite Tuscan leather clone is Dueto’s Golden Boy and this Dua is very close to it, similarly sweet. Doesnt have that dirty ashtray note I sometimes get with La Yuqawam. For me personally this would be redundant since I already have a Tuscan decant, Montale’s Aoud leather, Golden Boy and La Yuqawam in my collection but if you are somebody looking for a Tuscan clone, this is right up there with the best of them and is a serious contender. Longevity and projection are outstanding, 8 hours plus easy. Very impressed. 8/10

Just got it today Aug 2016….Pungent smell….OMG coz me an instant headache….La Yuqawam pretender…..La Yuqawam is solid long lasting yet not too Pungent….but for this perfume,it’s only fair to try it again…and see what comes out from it the next time around.

Another reviewer stated that this is a heavier, but more wearable version of Tuscan Leather. More wearable yes, but not heavier. Tuscan Leather is an absolute monster of richness, but Leather Oud tones that down. Smell wise it’s close, but it does have some differences that wouldn’t make owning this and Tuscan leather redundant. This transition into that slightly fresh or brighter DUA base. Tuscan leather doesn’t do that. So far out of the TL clones I’ve tried I still prefer Dueto’s Golden Boy because of the creamy leather accord. Having said that DUA’s interpretation appeals to a wider audience. IMO this would be what you’d get if TL was not a private blend and put into his regular line. Projection and longevity wise this is another beast.
zeka1312 – :
WOW! At first sniff I was in AWE.
This is Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather INTENSE…and IMO BETTER!
It’s heavier yet more wearable than TF TL to me.
My skin eats frags and this lasts 20+ Hours on me!
After 8-10 hours, on my skin I get a soft musky-fresh aroma that is basically completely different, almost like a different scent altogether but VEEERRRYYY NICE. LOVE IT. I get around 10 hours of TL plus a ‘bonus’ 10 hours of a very soft musky-fresh skin scent.
10+/10 all day, literally
