The first two hours this scent is lovely. With a sharp freshness and a very intense cardamom note, which I adore. Unfortunate after that time, on my skin, the neroli gets way too powerful and with its warmth and the cardamom note it gets unbearable to the point I really want to wash it off. People with other skin types might be luckier. (I tend to make scents warmer, sweeter and woodier).

Coolife Le Troisième opens up with a bright fizzy green aroma almost like some kind of herbal soda, sweet in how juniper berries and green anise can smell sweet in their cool, aromatic way. It’s interesting. But then it all becomes very, very familiar, as once the top notes settle in this smells an awful lot like Mugler Cologne; so much so that I highly recommend avoiding the $160 price tag of Le Troisieme and going straight to other stuff, which you can get a big bottle of for $40. Mugler Cologne also has much better performance. The projection of Le Troisieme is close to the skin and its longevity doesn’t go beyond 4 hours. I’m giving this a thumbs down because not only does it smell like a Mugler Cologne ripoff with crappy performance, but Coolife also had the gall to steal Mugler’s trademark green juice.
