Description
Le Parfum du 68 Extrait Le Passeur du Temps is launched to celebrate the reopening of the Guerlain boutique at that particular address. Guerlain reinterprets an old flacon in the shape of turtle due to the 100 years old mold. The bottle is made of black Baccarat crystal containing 1 l of the fragrance, placed under a glass bell which shows a panorama of Paris done in gold. Thierry Wasser created this perfume extract as spicy – woody fragrance that plays with contrasts of hot and cold. It begins with spices, with the floral heart that pulsates with immortal, while hiding the base notes of tonka bean, benzoin and incense. Le Parfum du 68 Extrait Le Passeur du Temps was launched in 2013.

Very nice bottle.
Somone who knows how many is made – just 1 ??
Well Guerlain always made nice bottles – I have different Shalimarbottles from different decades – among them is the one of them famouse by a Agatha Christie movie – on of her main caracter hade the big, so called watchbottle at her dressingtable.
But these Baccarat bottles may just be for PR.

For those who want to compare with the cologne 68 you can have that chance. Because the is the Eau de parfum 68 that is available on the market. For sure that it won’t be as concentrated as the extract in the baccarat bottle.
I tested the two and the smell of the eau de parfum is more delicate and regular because there is not 68 ingredients like in the cologne 68. The orange blossom and mandarine is what stayed on my skin in this one.

I’d love to try the juice and see if it has any similarity with my beloved Cologne du 68, but the bottle, to me, is too much and is purely for display in a splendid show window, at least not in an ordinary house like mine.
Hope Guerlain would consider to market the juice in some other way.
