Waah! I want to try it. House of Guerlain and The Bolshoi Ballet are amongst my most favourite things in the world. Sigh..

According to independent sources, it is rumoured to be a recalibration of Les Secrets de Sophie previous fragrance for the Russian market only.
And if you look at the notes pyramid, it appears the same.

I couldn’t help myself! I bought it!!!Hopefully from a reputable seller online- it appears totally authentic, the box looking identical to the “Les Secrets de Sophie” which I purchased at The Bergdorf Goodman Guerlain boutique. The box is hand numbered xxx/400 on the back. The darndest part is I can not differentiate between Sophie and Bolshoi. I’d swear they are the same scent! Willing to bet my life and nose on it- And the $000.00 I spent! I was almost done with my Sophie which I dearly love, but I was anxious for a new and totally different experience… Something uniquely Russian…Or at least DIFFERENT! Would love to hear if anyone out there has sniffed it…or the two together.

Did anybody test this one ?
What does it smell like ?
Looking at the notes, I can’t picture it in an accurate way.
It does seem interesting, though (which is kinda normal and logical for a Guerlain after all ! ) ! ^^
Even if I hate and strongly disagree with the principle of discontinuing fragrances, which just makes them holding no interest at all (it’s indeed quite ridiculous to fall in love with a fragrance that it’s anyway gonna be stopped and that you won’t consequently never find back anymore anywhere), I’m curious about this one (I think the reason is that I just ADORE Ballet ! ;o) ).

The 400 bottles were completely sold out in Moscow in 2 days. I received 2 bottles as gifts. Alas, it’s nothing new, a replica of Les Secrets de Sophie. For the price they were asking, one would expect something original. The juice is nice no doubt but… so disappointing!
