Classic and luxurious. Herbal lavender.

I’ve been a big fan of Caswell-Massey for decades. The CM name guaranteed the product would smell great and then some. It would have a depth and richness, it would feel classic and classy, it would feel luxurious. And so reasonably priced. CM may have been the best bargain in the perfume world. Unfortunately that’s no longer true and “Lavender” is a prime example. It smells thin and synthetic, it has no substance. The opening is lovely: a sweet kind of lavender with a bit of spice and herbs. But it fades so quickly into something that doesn’t smell like lavender, it doesn’t even smell good. A big disappointment.

I spray this on the pillow cases of my bed. Sweet dreams.
