I found this perfume too overpowering and the longer I wore it , the more it irritated me. I love some of Galimards offerings but sadly this one is a big thumbs down from me. Not a pleasant smell in my opinion.

Beautiful powdery and woody fragrance. I can smell the peach strong, but it`s soft and pretty not fruity. Elegant fragrance, very suitable for autumn and early spring. I have the perfume concentration which is very long lasting too. A little goes a long way.

expected this to be a dreaded aldehydic floral but can’t see aldehydes in the listed notes and definitely does not leave that impression. Instead it is a classic fruity floral = not übersweet and fleeting like modern fruity florals but much better behaved and great lassssting powerrr!
I wished to be familiar with Chanel No. 19 as it would be neat to compare both side-by-side! Sofar.. Lapis Lazuli goes above expectations.

There is only one perfume house I’d trust to buy its products blindly, and that house is Galimard (note: it’s written with one “L”).
Not Chanel, not Ysl, not Guerlain e.t.c.
“Lapis Lazuli” is a personal favourite. It is close to “No 19” but so much better! It is fresh in an intellectual way, marvelously floral like an irresistible woman and it has this unique ability to lift one person’s mood like nothing else!
Like all Galimard perfumes it comes in different concentrations, smells fantastic, it is all high quality ingredients (I have a 15 years bottle that stills smells amazingly!), projects and lasts good!
Best of all? The price!
If “optimism” was a perfume, it would be “Lapis Lazuli”. I tell you, this perfume is alive!
