Description
Lanvin launches Me L’Absolu in the fall of 2014, after the original fragrance Me from 2013 and Me L’Eau edition from the beginning of 2014. Me L’Absolu is the intensive version from the collection, designed for mysterious and adventurous women.
Me L’Absolu composition represents sophistication and is a fashion accessory that can be worn during both day and night. The fragrance opens with sensual notes of green violet leaf, fresh mandarin and osmanthus. Femininity is depicted with the heart of Sambac jasmine and peony. Luxury woody notes and patchouli are softened by peach and musk in the base.

Too sweet, too heavy for me. Not my type.

Very-very intensive sweet jasmine on me. No fruits, just flowers and some sweetness, if i smelled this with my eyes covered, i would say jasmine and honey. Sillage and longetivity both good.

I tested it a month ago. My first inpression was: nice. So I put the card into my pocket and forgot about it. After couple of hours I smelled it again and I discovered a real white floral treasure. I kept the small piece of paper for a week and the scent was still very strong. It has turned into completely different fragrance, even more beautiful than the one from my first sniff. A keeper!

I tested this today. It starts pretty floral in the beginning. Then it remains just floral. I find more similarities with Lanvin Me L’eau than with Lanvin Me. At least the drydown is very similar. But, I believe L’eau is more original than this. I think it lucks inspiration. It is not bad but is kind of generic. I don’t think that it is a memorable perfume. I need to smell it at least 5 more times in order to be able to remember it and distinct if from other florals. Its sillage is moderate and its longevity is law, close to 3 hours.
