Hyper-modern,charismatic,unique! a perfectly unisex perfume for those who like to be fashionable, and love to differentiate themselves. This is a very nice fragrance, it is clean, delicate but can be noticed. An almost “chameleonic” scent, I was very surprised, and I’m happy to have it in my collection! Very beautiful!!
Sillage: 7./10
Longevity: 8./10
Scent: 9./10
Overall: 9./10

Woody citrus geranium.
Wood lime is how it begins and settles too. Lime could be the major citrus note but i can smell some mix citrus as well specially clear yellow lemon.
Woody, geranium, citrus is what you’ll get sniffing this one.

Salty dusty herbal musky lipsticky strange. I’m afraid I find it disturbingly ethereal and can’t comfortably pigeon-hole it as fresh, warm, floral, cosy, sexy or whatever and I do so like to do that! This reminds me entirely of Dior’s Gris Montaigne and I find it similarly throat-catchingly dry. Perhaps it makes better sense on male skin?

So clean, so beautiful…I only have a smaple vial of this fragrance so I can’t definitively say how this would be in a spritz bottle, but for me in this vial it is SO close to the skin with so little sillage and longevity that I’d be mad to purchase it on this experience with it alone. If it had more sillage it’d be an ultimate favorite, it’s that good otherwise. I’m in mourning because I want it so badly but can’t justify it.

Three distinct fazes with this effort from A Lab on Fire the first is a bergamot lush and almost green. Then comes the geranium which is the accord basis for this fragrance and builds well, complimenting the base. The base is a soft powdery leather or suede but still fresh all the time.
I don’t necessarily agree that it’s minimal because it has a distinct opening, heart and drydown which progress. L’Anonyme has well balanced and complimentary ingredients which kinda is minimal but hints at other sweeter notes.
I like it, it’s very wearable pretty good longevity, projection is okay at first then dies down. Check it out, there’s not a great deal here not to like.

Yes, you can try it but please, don’t order it unless you don’t mind spending. This is a composition around geranium, done in such a way that lacks character.
Even I, who adore anything with geranium I’ll pass on this one. Yes it is open, fresh and cozy but where is the geranium’s arrogance, spiciness and bourbon undertones to make it even more interesting?
As a perfume it isn’t as minimal as you might think, there is stuff going on in the background to give it the necessary complexity but all in all, we are dealing with a common place approach to a masculine (or unisex by today’s standards) perfume.
The name really suits it and that is a pity..

For folks who don’t love bergamot and lemony scents, be warned that this fragrance is very bitter when first sprayed on. The bergamot and then the geranium seriously made me want to scrub it off. But this is one you have to wait for. The drydown is quite pleasant with the suede notes. While this fragrance may seem too ordinary for A Lab on Fire’s first scent there is something here that is mirrored, if only by slight reference, in their their three subsequent much more complex scents.
There seems to be almost A Lab on Fire signature like there is a Guerlain signature.

Lovely sweet distinctive fragrance, I agree with asilverfire614…I also sensed a salty undertone to it. However I do think it is MUCH to feminine to be called a unisex scent! But either way it is absolutely heavenly!

L’Anonyme can be considered an extremely minimal composition for its structure and pyramid but at the same time it contains one of the most complex and complete element in perfumery: geranium. This ingredient is known for its countless facets that go from cool, fresh and leafy to rosy, tangy and fruity. L’Anonyme is a sort of tribute to all of this.
It opens with a fresh and zingy bergamot note immediately joined by geranium that continuely shows all of its characteristics as If it were the main “piece”of a minimalistic kaleidoscope. A gentle musky/suedey base gives some support to this simple composition adding a slight and clean sweetness. , L’Anonyme is far from being the suprising fragrance I expected but for the price it sells for, it’s definitely worth experiencing. Transparent, fresh and easy to wear. Nice.
One cosnideration: This could have easily been an hypothetical composition form the Escentric Molecules serie (let’s say Escentric 04) dedicated to geraniol but in that case it would have been sold for $150. A word to the wise…
Rating: 7/10

I received a 2 bottles of this a few weeks ago.
At first spray, I thought that this was not for me. It would suit a ‘girlie-man’ (said in a Schwarzenegger accent)., but then wait for the woods to come through. It is quite nice. I have some on my wrists now, and I can’t stop sniffing it.
It reminds me of Penhaligon’s LP No.9 for men, only, much more simple….if that makes sense.
Will buy more when I have run out of my stock.

I just got my bottle in the mail yesterday and I must say packaging was very cutting edge. This fragrance opens with a small hint of bitter citrus that does not stay long. After a few mins the geranium starts to show its face. The basenotes reveal themselves shortly after and give this fragrance a woody nuance with an almost creamy texture from the suede. Overall I would give this an 8 out of 10 as far as first impression. If this house can continue to release frags of this quality they will eventually become a force in this industry.

semi groovy little thing that is – finally got it from my dealer in germany- thanks for that —
btw, what is salty for you asilverfire in olfactive terms?
overall way toooo clean to fresh to nice too unedgy… expected much much more from them – shame nobi has gone!!!
zerokul1977 – :
This was actually very intriguing to me! It’s a little salty, slightly musky, with warm suede underneath and a pinch of geranium on top. I don’t really pick up the bergamot. It is also more feminine than I expected. Longevity is decent – about 4 to 5 hours.

I got my bottle! and I must say that the bottle and the packaging are very stylish. They might seem too simple at the picture, but in real the bottle is very well done with shiny metal top and silver label.
The fragrance is very fresh, clean and powdery. It’s amazing how this dusty cleanness is united with creamy-cozy undertones.
