Sweet, soft and round – simply lovely, it is a first jasmine with huge white lilies, baked in raspberries that I smelled and recognised so clearly, without even looking into note pyramid. Doesn’t smell sharp or chemical, or too sugary, due to nice citrus touch, I sincerely recommend to girls, who are into white florals and like berries, this fragrance is easy to enjoy.

Sugary Fruity-Floral.
Definitely belongs in a “Pink” category of fragrances. It’s nice but just that. It’s not complete chemical mess as most of the fragrances in this genre are. It’s soft, feminine, floral and fruity notes are more distinct and organic. Nice for summer if you are into this kind of fragrances.

This is a nicely done fruity floral. The start was a mix of mouthwatering tangerine and black currant combo, soon jasmine started to dominate making this very warm and sexy.
The heart part is a lovely peach-jasmine combo with vibes of sour raspberry-rose combo showing it’s face once in a while giving this a little twist.
Brecourt has shown me that they can produce high quality products and this is clearly one of them, so if you look for a niche floral fruity try this out. It is not so much floral fruity as most are used to – this is very mature, warm and elegant.
Unfortunately I must also admit that this in my book is no unique gem as this does smell a bit boring, but might do just fine with someone else.
Silage is heavy for first hour, then settles to a skin scent, longevity is weak, the scent is gone in 4 hours.

This one turns out to be a lovely rose scent on my skin.
Delicate and soft and it stays with you for several hours.

After reading several rave reviews of Brecourt L’AMOUREUSE, I came dangerously close to buying a bottle blind. Fortunately, rationality prevailed, and I ordered the sample set instead. I say “fortunately” because this turns out to be another jammy floral very similar in style and quality to many designer perfumes on the market today.
I think that I was expecting a different quality level of perfume, although it is true that this self-proclaimed niche line is quite modestly priced. Seems like a case where you get what you pay for. In this case, L’AMOUREUSE offers a sort of compote of red jam berries and flowers, including rose. But I myself would not categorize this as a rose perfume.
This perfume might be a good choice for people attempting to transition from designer to haute niche, but it’s much closer to the former than the latter, at least according to my nose.

Even thought this is categorized as a fruity floral..this ain’t no ordinary fruity floral, we’re not talking Britney Spears Fantasy range (which I like). As with all Brecourt perfumes, this one is done with such finesse and elegance that it barely touches on “fruity floral”.
It smells so refined and lovely and..without sounding general..”perfumey”.
When this wafts the only way I can describe is is the smell of when you first walk into a perfumery at an airport and you are met with a million things at once and your nose doesn’t know what to do. It’s like someone has literally bottled that smell.
There is blackcurrant apparent but these perfumes are so well blended they just smell so beautifully “whole”.
I’m so impressed with this Niche brand and need to get my hands on some bottles. My favourite so far has be Avenue Montaigne..but this one is just as sophisticated!!
WANT!

A sweet blackcurrant and citrusy warm juice, then comes a flowery background. Nice though. If you like fruity sweet well done fragrances – this one is for you

After the gentle citrus opening, l’Amoureuse becomes a light, romantic, not-too-fruity floral. Wearing it, I am wrapped softly in warm, peachy jasmine that has been deepened, ever-so-slightly, by violet. A truly beautiful experience.
If it were readily available in Canada, I would buy a full bottle immediately… Maybe I’ll buy it anyway!
