Description

Winter journey in blossom land!
A dance with snowflakes
and memories.
A silent love story…

A crystal ballade of white bouquet, piquant Saffron and discreet leather.
Inspired by a rare and delicate flower from east Himalaya – Wintersweet,
which blossoms when the first snow falls.

The movement starts with a simple, and invigorating overtone from
Bergamot and Sweet Orange, with a hint of warm white tea, enveloped by
elegant Osmanthus and Rose petals. Gold Saffron, together with Pink
Pepper and dry Apricot unfold a fascinating atmosphere with
a dimension of velvet leather. Composed by an ambery balsamic accord,
the subtle animalistic notes add warmth and texture to
an imaginary world of snow and petals.

Lale was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Vincent Micotti.

It is said that this perfume is inspired by my beloved Wintersweet! No way! It has absolutely nothing to do with the wonderful flower. It is a nice uplifting fragrance. However, it is not worth the hefty price tag. Besides, the longevity is poor.

Delicate, light and charming! It is a very soft and light fragrance. A very evocative fragrance, and gives joy. . The sillage is soft, and the average longevity (5-6 hours). This is in my collection 🙂
    Sillage: 5/10
    Longevity: 7/10
    Scent: 7.5/10
    Overall: 8./10

What a fantastic Benzyl-Salicylate combination it is. not sarcasm. it’s really pretty even too synthetic.

I do not know why I bought this perfume. I guess I’ve been deceived by the subtitle on the label “dominante Blanche?”. It is intense, cheerful, innocent but especially boyish. It has nothing to do with the powdry white florals. It is more like the photograph of a child smiling with his fingers in a jar of peach jam … It is exuberant, cheerful and vibrant.
I can’t detect spices on my skin, but it supplies nice feelings, so… Maybe it is not my usual kind, maybe it does not meet the right alchemy with my skin.
…and anyway I absolutely love it when I smell it in the air… I’ll spray it on my hair to breath it all around.

Gentle fragrance, unobtrusive, a pleasant blend between osmanthus and apricot. I do not understand why it’s marked as feminine; smokey notes make absolutely unisex fragrance. Not a “must” and also too much expensive.for a pretty scent.

A really fantastic fragrance which makes you smile and happy! I love the beginning, I love the tender rose in the middle and I love the drydown! Great scent – I am going def. for a FB! Cant’stop sniffing my wrist and shaking my head to get a waft of this precious treasure!

Nice and fruity opening, started tart and sweet with white flowers, osmanthus and oranges, almost mouthwatering. Soon it was joined in by a smooth and edible apricot scent making this warmer and even more feminine and sweet.
I do not know what wintersweet smells like, but there is a slight smell I cannot put my finger one, it is a weird and very gentle, showing itself now and then just to fade away to return later one. I also get a lovely and subtle rose, very shy though and very girl like.
At the heart part spices appear, but it still stays on the same opening route – a gentle, shy and lady-like perfume. It’s like a virgin girl in a white dress, playful and flirty yet untouched and without sin.
Quality is A+, silage – stays close to skin, but is noticeable without sniffing the wrist all the time. Staying power is 8 hours.
Even though I do like this a lot one must remember that this retails for 190 EUR for 100 ml, so I am not yet sure if it is worth a price tag. It is very good, yes, but there are many fruity and sweet fragrances out there with a smaller price tag.

You have to love it! Makes everybody smile. Fresh start, gets sensual and soft like a little kitten purring in your arms. Blends in and stays tender and a little sweet. Even with the amber it never gets heavy
Update: Did my favourite thing and combined it with same brands ‘Pohadka’, a more masculine tabac/sage/Jasmine scent. Guess what? Little Lale did it! She kicked Pohadka and got a nice powerfull and longlasting twist 😉

    Guess I’ll be first.
    Smoked, spicy oranges, sweetened lightly.
    Lasts (and projects) for hours!!
    Delicious!
