Description
The house of Fendi launched L’Acquarossa Eau de Parfum in 2013 as a new fragrance inspired by Rome and specific Italian style. In 2014, it launches a refreshed, luminous edition L’Acquarossa Eau de Toilette, which is signed by the same trio who created the original: Delphine Lebeau, Benoit Lapouza and Francois Demachy.
The fragrance opens with Italian citruses – Sicilian mandarin, blood orange and Calabrian bergamot, spiced by Sichuan pepper. The heart includes lantana flower with elegant peony and violet, placed on the base comprised of red cedar and musk.
The face of the commercial is Chiara Mastroiani. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.
L’Acquarossa Eau de Toilette was created by Delphine Lebeau, Benoist Lapouza and Francois Demachy.

Really astringent hairspray…something burning my nose, and tart fruits & florals. Thank God I only sprayed one spray. This has a burning hairspray accord that would just not go away, very bitter. After that, just boring.

Got this fragrance once already, traded it away. Got small bottle of it cheap and after thinking “oh this is great”, after short time I am not happy with it again
oh dear, oh dear. I was in the mood for spicy floral and this seemed perfect at first. But I feel like its too weak even though I didn’t think it was at first. I just get some citrus and spice and that’s about it.

I blind bought 1 oz of this perfume for under $20 just based off of the notes. I’ve never smelled the original L’Aquarossa, so I can’t say anything about how this relates to the original, but as far as being a stand alone frageance it’s not bad. It’s what I would call a “shampoo floral” – clean, unassuming, passive, and wearable. That being said, it doesn’t smell like a cheap, run of the mill floral, either. L’Aquarossa EDT is not watery or harsh. It’s not dated, nor too young. It just kind of exists… a little bit of a wallflower perfume. But I kind of like that about it. It kind of reminds me of a more complex version of the Peony body care line from Bath & Body Works, so I guess the peony is the star of the show on my skin. I wouldn’t ever pay full price for this, but I really like it for the price I paid for it. If you like clean, rosy perfumes I think you’d also enjoy this.

I blind bought a 30 ml bottle of this fragrance on line, just because a found out it is discontinuated and I really wanted it. I like it, it is nothing special, but it is wearable and it is not a loud fragrance. I love the bottle, but I wouldn’t buy a backup.

The opening is very citrusy, after some minutes the floral notes come out. Very generic and uninteresting…nothing to write home about.
