blind buy as it was on 50% off my local parfumerie. tried it against original LVEB. original is definitely something like a favorite cashmere sweater on rainy November day or Christmas party event scent. BUT Bouquet de Printemps is like happy spring walk in the meadow – something you remember long time later and keep respraying for the memory sake when the weather calls for light, sweet feminine scent you want to be known for. just wow

Can I buy this ANYWHERE in the US? I tried a looking for online stores and found two in Canada and U.K. that carry it but they neither will ship to the United States. If anyone knows where I can get it, do tell! I’ll buy blind if I have to.

In my oppinion this is the best version of La vie est Belle yet, more suitable for younger adults. I simply love it! I hope they turn this limited edition into a permanent one.

    Lovely!
I have always avoided the original LVEB because everyone wears it, it is too common and I do not like to smell like everyone.
So when this one came out I decided to give it a chance.
It´s a lovely floral, with a hint of freshness and at the same time the pachouli is present all the way through.
This is spring, a woman with a white blouse, yellow skirt, brown sandals, and a big smile.
She is joyful, beautiful and sofisticated.
Longevity: moderate to good.. 8 hours approx
Sillage: starts stron but with time it sits closer to the skin.
    Bottle design: lovely !
I like this a lot, but it don´t find it “unique”, so I think I will try something else when I ran out (plus, this is a limited edition that I won´t be able to find in my country).

Transversal notes: Iris, Lily of the Valley
    Top notes: Pear, Bergamot Essence
Heart notes: Lily of the Valley absolute, Orange Blossom absolute and Jasmine Sambac absolute
Base notes: Pallida Iris concrete, Heart of Patchouli essence
Please, Fragrantica update the notes. This floral gourmand gem has more notes that listed 🙂
I have it on me – as of today, one of the few in LVEB family that does not suffocate me :)Reminds me a bit of the milky LVEB edt. I like the scent very much, but the classic LVEB is too heavy for me.

Fragrantica team:Is that hard to put here the correct notes which are everywhere and also is on the Lancome website(fr.com.etc)
Please add the top, heart, base notes because how it’s now is not correct.

I feel this would be much more charming if it was not so strong… The identity, light and feminine floral, does not fit to the wall of sillage this has. Anyways, something is off on my skin maybe, I also feel a bit like the fresh floral and the lveb buttery iris were not glued together seamlessly, like they stay separate. Eventually, peony gets obnoxious. Scrubber.

I do not like white flower notes at all… But! This composition is faboulos.
It does not remind me the original LVEB.

I love this scent, just like I love the original. It is a lot frresher, because there is no vanilla in it, but it really reminds me of the original scent. I am actually surprised that I still like it without the vanilla, because I really love vanilla.

Not far from the first LVEB, just fresher. Very sweet. Why are sweet notes not listed properly?

First of, we have to admit that La Vie Est Belle is a very successful fragrance, whether we like it or not, it is.
BUT, the flankers are more worthy than the Original in my opinion, and that’s why they are being released more often than any. And Bouquet De Printemps flanker, as the Florale and the Intense, is also better than its predecessor.
It’s the enough sweet. This is the amount of sweet the perfumes ideally should have. Lancome, might have put some serious thinking in LVEB line, and decided to change the amount of sweetness in each flanker. This is sweet but sweet good not sweet bad. Of course the Intense flanker is unbeatable within the LVEB range, with its chocolatey smooth iris, but the Bouquet De Printemps is also worthy of a sniffing at least.
More notes than the ones listed? Absolutely, but for a very little time in the beginning of wear time. Opens with an orange blossom dipped in praline sugar juice, the sweetness is tolerable though; obviously, the audience needs its usual LVEB feel.
Turns into a very prominent orange blossom, very sweet, I think the bergamot is the culprit, but be patient. It does tame into a sweet heady jasmine, which I’m very fond of. Jasmine lovers who wish for a sweet twist in their favorite floral should really give Bouquet De Printemps a chance.
Has a certain amount of chic in it.Well done Lancome.

I don’t like this one at all. It’s not similar to the original and it’s not very good.
Smells like synthetic floral notes with a hint of sweetness.
It definitely doesn’t smell like the notes listed here.
    That’s very disappointing.

I´m a big La vie est Belle fan and I have every single version and limited edition´s so when I heard about this one I have to have it.
    And how it´s smells like?
When you remove from the original LVEB all the sweet notes and blackcurrant and put there lily of the walley and concentrate floral aromas then you get this. It´s smells like the first spray in the original LVEB with the flowers in the background.Lovely pear mixed with flowers and it´s fresh, lovely and fruity and don´t going to be in the dry down sweet and cloying like the original it´s rather more fresh, yes veeery floral version and a little watery. There is the LVEB DNA which is the first spray in the original plus added lily of the walley which is strong. This version is a lily of the walley mixed with jasmine, creamy orange-blossom and pear with a hint of iris.
The first spray is fresh, juicy, fruity with the light hint of flowers in the backgrong. How it´s start to calm down the floral notes get more stronger. There is the fresh lily of the walley mixed with creamy orange blossom(realy creamy). The dry down it´s however more watery (thanks to the pear) and flowery and very light. This is light, spring time, floral, little fruity, watery, fairy scent.I love it too, because I love every LVEB,and of course I have to test is a few more times but for me it´s charming. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous with the flower ribbon and the juice is soooo pink, fantastic.
Everybody has to try it before buying, but I love it anyway.
    EDIT:
I have to say that it’s very similar to the original LVEB in the dry down. It’s light sweet and there is the LVEB patchouli which is incredible.Absolutely lovely.100% is in the LVEB family.
The opening is fresh fruity-floral it’s like the original LVEB opening.Than the opening feel stay there. However the patchouli is 100% LVEB patchouli-this is a powdery SWEET powdery patchouli with the lovely dry-powdery iris in the background.Yes there is the lily of tha walley feel but the orange blossom and jasmine is in the centre mixed with the pear. The pear in this is everything. This version is pear mixed with super sweet patchouli, powdery iris and flowers in the background.I’m absolutely in LOVEEEEE.I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VERSION.The sillage is a monster and the longevity is absolutely fantastic. What can I say it’s Lancôme quality. Highly recommend it. ❤

The comment below is correct in the fact the dry down is quite LOTV heavy but it does share the same DNA as the original and is still a little sweet. This one really packs a punch compared to the original. I quite like it.

    From the Lancôme website:
Transversal notes: Iris, Lily of the Valley
    Top notes: Pear, Bergamot Essence
Heart notes: Lily of the Valley absolute, Orange Blossom absolute and Jasmine Sambac absolute
Base notes: Pallida Iris concrete, Heart of Patchouli essence

This fragrance has none of the LVEB DNA at all. It’s just very, very flowery.
It’s a linear scent that dries down to smell like Lily of the Valley and not much else. If someone walked past me wearing this, I’d assume they were wearing a perfume made by Yardley and I don’t mean that as a compliment for those of you who aren’t familiar with that longstanding UK brand. The bottle is pretty though.

Personally, I’m delighted to hear about this new LVEB flanker! The original LVEB EDP wasn’t for me (too cloying, although I can certainly see why it’s so popular), but some of it’s flankers have been fantastic in my opinion, including LVEB EDT and especially the Intense and Florale editions! Each carries the LVEB DNA but with a unique twist and their quality is superb. From what I’ve read there are a few notes missing from the list above, namely Fruity notes, Iris and Lily-of-The Valley. I can’t wait to try this!
EDIT: This is now available in a couple of UK department stores and I went to test it. I was so disappointed!! Unlike the other LVEB flankers, I wouldn’t have been able to tell it was part of the LVEB family at all. It’s very light, fresh and floral, with very poor sillage and zero lasting power (on me at least). Very weak considering it’s an EdP and highly forgettable. Nothing new or interesting. The best thing about it is the bottle, which of course is beautiful, but I wouldn’t buy it just for that. LVEB Florale is SO much better, so I’ll be sticking with that for the Spring. Shame.

@ BenBnBe, I agree with you. For the life of me, I can’t understand why people get so worked up over the release of a new flanker. If you don’t care for it, simply move on with your life and save the negative comments. Easy peasy!

And I’m the one who don’t agree with anybody! Why it’s so bad when a brand release a new flanker? We doesn’t smell it yet, huhuuuu people the florale version is the same as the EDP?NO,and it’s one of the most beloved LVEB.”Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.”This sound lovely, but you guys who wrote this negative comments like:boring, why?,another flanker?,shame,we wan’t a new perfume, creativiti etc.there is something new,a new scent.Who cares that is the same bottle? And this will be a spring edition not a limited edition bottle with the same edp in it.Or people can not read? And now I say not just because Lancome release this.I see that nowadays people love make HATE comment rather than do a “i’m soo excited, etc”.These hateful reviews despise me the whole thing about perfumes.I was yesterday soo happy and excited that they reliese a new flanker for spring and now I read this comments my mood went gone, and I don’t want to smell it.Please if you have a special wish write for Lancome team. This site is for perfumes and comment the perfumes and notes and what we smell in it,not for the brand and what we think about brands and bottle.
I have no problem with these people but please should not write always, and be the first who wrote a negative and scornful review.

WOW! What a surprise!! A new LVEB from Lancome that it’s full notes will be added soon and will be 90% similar to the original’s EDP edition!!!
CREATION & IMAGINATION are unknown words for Lancome I guess but they do rock. Their perfumes lasting power and sillage is amazing in a way they beat easily other companies and our noses too. They are ‘radioactive’ actually but you know what except from the joke? My perfumes is something personal.
Sometimes I want to be smelled of people that are very close to me or when I am on their arms, romantic isn’t it? Sometimes you don’t wanna go generic, monster-sillage or ‘hello I am here’. I am affraid that my skin will never comes again in contact with a Lancome perfume because I am worried of their ingredients and because they make me feel the magic is lost.
p.s: Keep wondering how Tresor La nuit EDT will be but ok.
