Fans of a violet note in fragrances will not be disappointed. However, there is a big dissonance in the composition to me. It starts as a light pretty violet, a young romantic woman, and suddenly sharp metallic note comes out that suits a more mature steel lady like a very strict cold school teacher. Nothing sensual, a ‘stick to business’ scent.
Sometimes you see a person on the street from behind and then he or she turns around and you think ‘Ooops, it’s not how I expected him/her to look like’. It could have been a very interesting contrast but because of the metallic sharpness and lack of warmth it feels like a disappointment that your initial impression is incorrect.

This looked so intriguing, the notes and the bottle, but unfortunately all I get is pure grape soda. At least they chose the right color for the bottle?

No. Just no. This one is actually painful for me to wear-its incredibly sharp and acidic, the green notes are so powerful its like a physical presence. This gave me a headache within about 2 minutes, the sort of headache I get from jasmine. Any softer or more rounded notes are sadly overpowered by the bitter green. It’s sour, sharp, rough and really not pleasant on me. Unfortunately it lasts and lasts and invades other people’s personal space.

This fragrance smells like Jasmine Rouge by TF. It is amazing and the sillage gives a statement. My younger daughter loves it and I am totally mesmerized.

This is not like Olympea Intense to me. The violet leaf in this is painful to my nose. Xerjoff has many other beautiful fragrances. This one gave me a serious headache, mostly because of the overdose of screechy violet leaf that constantly assaulted my nose. To me this is not pretty and I don’t recommend it.
I should add that my favorite xerjoff frag is Casa Morati Dolce Amalfi, so this fragrance isn’t bad it’s just not my thing.

This one smells like a little more rough, greener version of Jardin D Amalfi from Creed with more musk and violet

It will be maybe startler, but on my skin this is completely Paco Rabanne Olympea Intense. How is it possible?
There is somebody who feel the same?

Wooooow…this is just amazing!!! SENSUAL , ELEGANT,LUXURY,HEAVEN IN A BOTTLE!!!!
l was trying yesterday all the Casamorati from Xerjoff and was very impressed with their quality. l discovered top 3 loves for me. 1 La Tosca, 2 Mefisto, 3 Lira ,4 Fiore d’Ulivo….maybe 5 between like -love Fiero. The others just like… except one which maybe doesn’t suit to my chemistry.
When first smelled La Tosca it was breathtaking from the first spray..in 5 first seconds, i thought l was smelling fresh green lilac..like Lilac Path Aerin …(no lilac here) then the second thought was Omnia Amethysto…maybe En Passant Frederic Malle or Jonquille de Nuit Tom Ford …. lt was exactly the same feeling !!! they are NO SIMILAR but had the same vibe . From the first sniff, you can recognize the character of this one.
lt opens fresh almost sharp ozonic in a good way,citrusy-spicy floral,green..then after a while, the most beautiful combo musky rose-patchouli appears like in Elle YSL + green effect of Violet Leaf and aromatic eucalypt. The combo rose+patch is very very spicy and too much musky but so well-balanced with the first player now..Violet Leaf!!!The dry down is to die for.Warm amber appears and a light touch of vanilla just to balance the sharpness..but still remain fresh!!!
The feeling has a purple color like purple flowers the bottle suits so well…if you dislike them is not for you!!! The package is nostalgic, amazing, love it.
    quality 10/10
    sillage and longevity are excellent!!!
    MASTERPIECE!!

I have many favorites among xerjoff perfumes.lira, bouquet ideal, granballo, dama biyanca, mefisto, fiero are all among my favorites so I had to try la tosca as soon as I saw it’s tester bottle.although I usually dislike violet leaf and eucalyptus and I like patchouli and citrus notes just in special conditions I had high hopes to face musk, rose, vanilla and amber but nope.it’s all about the notes I was afraid to face so no wonder that I highly dislike la Tosca
La tosca is a fresh, airy woody scent with enough musk and spices to give it more depth and sophistication and some green naunces to make it interesting for lovers of ozonic chypres.there’s just a hint of peppery rose to give a slight feminine vibe to citrus, patchouli, violet leaf combo but not too much of it so it still remains a unisex scent in my book
It’s not my type and I dislike it strongly but I can see how other people with different and more unique tastes may love it.longevity and sillage are amazing

Oh such a gorgeous perfume!! I love La Tosca!! It’s heavenly!! The most lovely fresh, feminine, soft, gentle, floral with beautiful citrus, and gorgeous patchouli, and a gentle delicate rose with a lovely refreshing eucalyptus and smooth sweet and gentle vanilla and musk. It’s so beautiful!! I can’t stop sniffing myself, and neither can anyone else who happens to be within a few feet of me. So many people stop me to tell me how gorgeous I smell, no matter where I am. It’s absolutely stunning.
And so is the gorgeous, superb purple bottle, and the fabulous box. They are such perfect works of art. Oh, I adore this glorious, elegant, charming perfume completely!!! I hope I can stock up on it, and wear it forever. I never, ever, ever want to be without it!!

Hmm…now this is nice. I first tried Xerjoff’s La Tosca on my wrist upon a recent visit to a department store and was impressed. As I walked around shopping, I kept getting whiffs of it and later in the evening, when I returned home, I could still smell it! So, longevity is amazing. The way I would describe this would be a gorgeous feminine fresh perfume. It reminds me of certain iris scents I have owned in the past. It is extremely classy and elegant. I would rush out to purchase a full bottle but somehow the price prevents me from doing so ..and that is the only negative thing I have to say about this perfume. Yes, it is incredibly beautiful, but think the price is way overboard for what it is. Hmm…maybe I will treat myself though..it is very tempting..I have to admit!

More of the Rosy peppery musc combination under the umbrella of violet leaves. Kind of over powered rose pepper for my nose, but definitely for the roses, pepper, & violets lovers.

Completely compelling, as in I cannot stop sniffing my wrist and that is hours after just a small spritz. This is one of the most gorgeous fragrances I’ve had the privilege to sniff. I have a split of it, may have to get a bottle, though truly a little spritz is probably just about right.
Night time Mediterranean scent brought to the heights of the art of perfumery. LOVE the stuff!

Just one look at the packaging already says about an art. The box is of an incredible quality materials, bright variegated mottle brindled colourful and truly luxury. The process of opening CASAMORATI line’s box is a supreme excitement, equal to opening and discovering a new electronic gadget or watching the trailer of an anticipated movie. It, the packaging, deserves to be the subject of completists attention.
The fragrance, albeit it would be correct to say THE ART, as well as OPERA, starts with anticipation, when you enter the door of OPERA, sit yourself in a comfortable position and prepare to be ready for the emotional mental and, somewhere, spiritual magic. At the beginning the air is fresh and spacious, you deeply breathe and waiting, same LA TOSCA, begins with vast freshness of Lemon and Mandarine, to give you the space for being ready to get what is prepared for later.
The show begins, light is switched off, music started playing, the DIVA appeared on a stage, same LA TOSCA, starts playing and hence grabbing away your breathing and attention. The OPERA has started, gradually and unequivocally involving you into the plot, same LA TOSCA, has already started penetrating into your deepest feelings and memories, adjusting you to feel the music of fragrance art. Green foliage, that I detected after 10-20 mins but couldn’t recognise what it was exactly, appears in the heart of the fragrance and perfectly surround notes of sensual Rose and elegant Violet leaf.
As the OPERA continues, the emotions grow, the vibes spark, the breathe revs up, same LA TOSCA, speeds up evolving the current chord into the fragrance magic, where the signature Green foliage meets oriental notes, daring Patchouli, mysterious Amber and creamy Vanilla beans. After 1 hour, being lost in attempts to define this “Green foliage”, I took a look at the list of ingredients, the puzzle was assembled, the Eucalyptus. It is the main “culprit” of attractive mystery in Green foliage.
4 hours and LA TOSCA is still flourishing on my skin, getting more and more attractive and desirable.
Art, Elegance, Indulgence, and, of course, Luxury.

Beautiful scent! Very potent and to me seems more in the feminine side. The longevity is uvelievable – I feel it for days!! And I would say it starts strong but develops into a very warm rounded scent . Also (as U am not a patchouli fan) I normally would feel that note right away , but here it’s masterfully hidden and wiffs somewhere subtly in the background. It’s a magnetically and very noticeable scent – I doubt it’s for the office every day use but for a evening grown up time.

I also find some similarity with d’ulive, that one is a bit softer.
For me this is the less interesting casamorati til now…
It opens with citrus & violets, then the patchouli comes in, (it’s a neo-chypre), little development, very sour, sharp and linear on my skin. The drydown is only lemon and patchouli which stays long on my skin.
The colour of the bottle gives the idea of violets but they are hardly there.
And not a full bodied balanced perfume like the others from the casamorati line!

First impression- opens citrusy, nice and fairly unisex. As it dries down it begins to smell like patchouli and tea while still retaining some citrus. Patchouli is the biggest player throughout, must be a patchouli fan to appreciate. If you are a Xerjoff fan and have also tried Fiore d’Ulivo, I feel like there are some similarities. Nice enough so far but not my type, hoping it will grow on me because I love the purple bottle.
