Description

La Petite Robe Noire Ma Robe Sous le Vent (loosely translated as “my dress in the wind”) comes out in July 2016 as the new Eau de Parfum Intense edition of the fragrance La Petite Robe Noire launched by Guerlain in 2012. In addition to the original Eau de Parfum, the collection also includes La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette from 2012, La Petite Robe Noire Couture from 2014 and La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche from 2015. Guerlain‘s in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser is the creator behind the collection.

The La Petite Robe Noire Intense edition is announced as a sweeter composition than its predecessors. The fragrance comes in a deep blue bottle of the distinctive La Petite Robe Noir design, with the drawing of a little black dress in Marilyn Monroe style.

Notes of cotton candy mix with fresh bergamot and the fruity character of blueberries in the top of the composition. Bulgarian rose is still present in the heart of the perfume, laid on the base of patchouli, white musk, sandalwood and vanilla.

It will be available as a 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum Intense.

In my head, this is how a perfume called Pink Sugar should smell like. It’s a candy patchouli bomb on my skin. I can find some common points with LVEB, and the longevity is one of them. Compared with Black Perfecto, this one is quite addictive and delicious… My favorite so far is La Petite Robe Noir EDP. That one has a powdery feeling which I truly like!

Sirimari78– wear it! Wear what you like! xoxo
I’m an old, tall goth who loves uber sweet gourmands and really really old vintage perfumes, none of which suit “me”- haha! But I wear perfume for me. 😉
I’m somewhat conscious of how I smell in public, so I save my super old scents for home use/personal use.
I’m actually wearing this scent to work today!

Blueberry syrup served over earthy, sweet-spicy musk. I don’t know why, but it works! This is absolutely delicious! The initial blast is almost too candylike, but the patch and woods quickly show up to the rescue and tame it all down into one delectable and seductive scent. Sillage and longevity are better than average, no means a ‘beast mode’ fragrance but it last 5-6 hours on me, the last two hours it’s primarily a skin scent. I wouldn’t say blind buy this, unless fruitchouli is your thing. It’s a keeper for me! It smells like a grownup version of BS Midnight Fantasy.
    Scent: 9/10
    Sillage: 5/10
    Longevity: 7/10

I love this, but how can a blondie wear this beautie?
The blueberries, the sweetness without being naive or cloying, the dark notes… mmmmm… it is even fresh! But when I close my eyes, it smells nothing like a nordic woman. Wich I am. In deed. My eyes are blue, and I have freckles all around.

Personally I find this fragrance addictive.
On myself it flutters between syrupy sweet blueberries with whispers of cotton candy and something green and fresh – compliments of cassis, which surprisingly works incredibly well with this formula.
I was expecting something a little more, with the “intense” signature sitting on it – something like Guerlains Insolence, with its massive projection. However, the sillage is moderate and the longevity holds up to the price tag.
Sweet but not cloying, fresh but not completely green – this gem gets a 9/10 from me.
EDIT: My above review is based on a 30ml bottle. I have recently purchased a 100ml bottle and I am so surprised at how different they are! My bigger bottle is way less blueberries and a lot more cotton candy and musk.

Im on the verge with this perfume. I dont know whether to like it or hate it. I first sniff this in a department store and loved it but never got around to buying it until when i discovered it online for a very cheap price. It only arrived today and boy was the first sprit powerful. My dad said he could smell the thing from across the room. It opens with a extremely sharp note that i couldnt identify (whether it was the raspberry or the fairy floss i was smelling). Damn and it dries down into a incredibly sweet sugary raspberry scent. (Wayyy too sweet for my taste). I’ll give this a go tomorrow when i go to work to test out sillage and staying oower. Will let everyone know if i like it or not.

This is my first foray into the LPRN collection I was never tempted to try them never mind buy. I came across this flanker on You Tube one of my favourite reviewers was describing it not in a particularly good light but it triggered my interest. Blueberries, cotton candy, Patchouli all things I love the smell of. I hunted down a bottle from eBay bought it at a great price I am extremely happy 🙂 the fragrance is a delicious gourmande the top notes are full of fresh fruit goodness the dry down is a beautiful gentle soft caress like a gentle kiss it lasts for a couple of hours on my skin but I don’t mind re spraying. I don’t think the bottle will last me long as I am enarmoured with this beauty. Another thing I find the drydown reminds me of candy here in the UK called Sugared Almonds it’s their fragrance obviously there is no Almond note in this fragrance. I would definitely give this a try I love it.

Lifts up my mood makes me feel glamorous.

Begins with a burst of fruity muskiness to my nose, sweet and very pretty.
The muskiness is very potent to me, and that part reminds me a little of RL Romance.
Becomes more fruity, sweet and the patch arrives.
I mean, it’s very pretty to me and fruity-patchouli, which I do like, without being too heavy.
I’m not sure it’s unique enough to justify a full bottle, but it is easy to wear in the best sense.
It’s pretty and it’s pleasing, and if you like fruity and sweet with musk and patch, I don’t see how you would not like this.
If we have reasonable expectations of perfume, this is a winner.

A cozy sumptuous vanilla with resinous raspberry running through it. Been donning myself with this whilst ‘the beast from the east’ rages outside. It suits the Russian chill beautifully.

I have mixed feelings about this perfume. The first few minutes are horrible when I spray it on. All I get is a aggressive mix of strong, rancid notes. After a while I start to smell blue berry notes, cassis and patchouli. It’s okay by then. After a few hours I really start to like it. Vanilla and some cotton candy sweetness shows up. The perfume starts to turn warmer and sweeter. I felt especially exited about the cotton candy note but it’s not very dominant at all. The patchouli, blueberry and vanilla notes are much stronger in my opinion. I wonder how this perfume works on other peoples skin!

I love blueberry. Only this fragrance is toooooooooooo sweet. Like a tart.

  13. :

    5 out of 5

I really love this one. It is sweet but the patchouli gives it a slight masculine edge which is very intriguing. It is not like anything else I have smelt so unique. I have felt tempted to do away with all my other perfumes and just have this one and Mon Guerlain which is also perfect.

    5 out of 5

This is one of those perfumes that just lasts and lasts and lasts… on clothing until you wash them (and even after that depending on the washing temperature and the washing product used …) This is also the smallest bottle (30ml) of all the LPRNs (EDP, EDT, Couture, Black Perfecto and Intense) that I have, since a little sure goes a long way. I think now, in the northern hemisphere winter, is the best time to wear this fragfrance: the cold, cool air makes it sing and stops it from going cloying. It is a very sweet fragrance and doesn’t have the strong cherry scent that is more or less prominent in all the other LPRNs. Yet after the initial sweet shock, LPRN Intense calms down to a quite a sophisticated take on blueberry and cotton candy. I especially love the bottle, a true beauty of a perfume bottle!
Ps: Very true indeed, Chanel’s Chance EDP, is _far_ more masculine than this

  15. :

    5 out of 5

I totally get why this can be called masculine – musk is quite pronounced here in the base.
LPRNI is one of a kind fragrance for sure. I bought a 15ml spray for purse and I wouldn’t want to have anything larger than that – it is a ‘like’, but not ‘love’.
I need to add that I like LPRN line in general, but sometimes they get too cloying on me because of syrupy cherry and licorice.
So, LPRNI starts with initial cotton candy, very sweet, almost edible, then I start feeling that masculine base (btw, Chanel Chance EDP is MUCH more masculine than this). Then I get blueberries. After half an hour on skin it is milky sweet blueberry yogurt, maybe with some patchouli.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend for a blind buy because it is quite unique, but it is nice for sure. Longevity is about 6h on my skin.
Update: gave it away, that milkiness+musk is just unbearable

  16. :

Guerlinade cotton candy is the best way to put it. Cool and sweet, but not sharp. I have loved/do love many cotton candy perfumes, and though they’re fun and cute, they tend to take on some sort of sharp musky alcohol or burnt smell. Not this stuff.
Robe Noire Intense is just so smooth and unified. I suppose it could come off a bit masculine, but I wouldn’t mind that anyway.. It’s more feminine to me in any case..
It goes on and off my want list again and again. I really loved my mini of this, and it was a result of many a “you smell AMAZING”S so.. Maybe I should go for it eventually. Longevity and sillage are both moderate to me.

  17. :

This really does have a sharp men’s cologne feeling in addition to the other elements which are reminiscent of the original. That bright and masculine almost aquatic element clashes with the rest of the scent and you’d never expect it from looking at the notes or trying the original.
Come to think of it, I get the same bizarre masculine accord from Guerlain’s My Insolence. My Insolence is all powdered sugar and raspberry drizzled violets and then wham! Some clashing men’s cologne comes out of nowhere and trips your nose into a disoriented state. Maybe it’s just a modern Guerlain fruity floral flanker thing. Okay I think this review really needs to be over now that I said fruity floral flanker.
To those above me comparing this to Chanel Chance edp, I really don’t see a resemblance between Chance and LPRNI and it may be true that Chance edp ( marketed to women) also contains masculine elements, but the *way* in which they are masculine is not the same. LPRNI smells like two perfumes mixed together, where as to my nose, Chance edp, masculine as it may be, is very harmonious and well blended.
The reason I feel compelled to talk about the presence of a strong masculine accord in LPRNI, is not to say that it’s objectively bad, but because the notes list does not account for it, and a lot of people (myself included) are often misled by that, expecting what they see to be ultimately what they get.

I didn’t expect this at all. I really like the original, and somehow I presumed that I would like this one as well. I wanted to smell the blueberries, they are probably the only berry note I like in perfumes, but sadly I don’t smell any. I thought it would be a flirty, blueberry scent, instead I got an overly strong, masculine perfume. I even considered giving this to my husband. I should have smelled it before buying, I never learn.

  19. :

This perfume sounded like it would be a dream- Who wouldn’t want to smell of blueberry, vanilla and cotton candy. I tested it the other day and it smelled very chemical and sour on my skin. Thankfully, it didn’t last long on my skin- this is also disappointing considering it is Guerlain. I have had this on my want list for so long and was even tempted to blind buy as I couldn’t find a tester anywhere. Anyway I am glad I didn’t as this scent is crazily expensive, poor projection and longevity for the price, and doesn’t smell like it says it does. It just didn’t do it for me. I am dissapointed- I had such high hopes- I thought it would be a love at first sniff.
The bottle is beautiful! Why do I not get that beautiful blueberry, vanilla and cotton candy concoction that I had in mind? Seriously disappointing.

Finally it’s there.sitting near it’s sisters on my perfume shelf while choosing the most favorite one in this family is still a challenge for me.none of them are among my routin perfumes but I enjoy all of them and crave them sonetimes.well I guess I can call this blue LPRN my favorite one.it’s an intresting gourmand.unique and complex
When first sprayed it’s a mish mash of different notes and I find it kind of boozy and weird but in less than a minute it settles to this beautiful modern scent.intense and sweet and blueberry is big on my skin.it’s all about syrupy sweet blueberry and some raspberry for couple of minutes.it reminds me smoking a hubble bubble with blueberry flavoured tobacco mixed with grape tobacco.these are my most favorite tobaccos in bubble bubble and I used to smoke them a lot as a teenage so I enjoy the scent.I believe patchouli is the reason of it’s slight smokey undertone.it’s there but is not too much for me.as time passes vanilla, cotton candy and a light touch of florals showup and make me love this perfume even more.it’s a little creamy-powdery in drydown and I can also feel some sort of spices in it.a touch of licorique?myrrh? I just know that it’s deliciously sexy.I’m also very happy with it’s longevity and sillage.I also love the red guerlain lipstick that was inside my giftset of LPRN intense
When I first checked it’s notes list,I found it interesting for it’s blueberry and cotton candy note but I didn’t want to blindbuy it as I wasn’t sure wether these notes are easily detectable or not.on my skin, blueberry is easily detectable but not cotton candy.now that I know it’s there I can recognize it but it’s not as cotton candy dominant as pink sugar

Oh, Guerlain. You’re becoming my favorite house…
LPRN Intense has done what no other perfume ever did with me. 5 seconds of a whiff on my skin and it loves me, as I love it.
I remember trying the original LPRN and not caring for it. It was very pretty but totally forgettable. But this Intense version has the absolute depth I look for in perfumes. it is just gorgeous.
I received a decant of this beauty and My mom tried it before me. In her skin felt so weird, it smelled old, and even though she was in love, I was scared to try it. But I was wrong, and that is what I love about Guerlain.
Any Guerlain perfume is a master piece; it never smells the same on anyone! You make it your own.

I’m disappointed that it lacks the sour fruitiness of actual blueberries and I think vanilla is to blame here. I normally adore both notes (separately I guess) but here they’re awful together.

  23. :

It is sweet, yes, but in an incredibly noble way. It is a mature gourmand, as much as I was doubting when heard about it, I love it now, I really, really do. One of the most beautiful gourmand/spicy thing created in the 2000s perfume era.

Got a full 3.3 oz off of Amazon and boy is it worth every penny! It reminds me of blue cotton candy flavored tobbaco you use for a Hookah(I used to socially smoke from the hookah with friends as a late teen), LPRN intense smells Spicy,Smokey and super sweet! Great for Winter or at night!

  25. :

    3 out of 5

This is a strong, spicy and fruity scent.
I like how the top notes remind me of water pipe and other fragrances from this line.
This has a smoky aroma mixed with blueberries and raspberries. It’s not overly sweet like scents with raspberries usually are.
I like it quite well, but I like the green one and the pink EDP one even better.
It’s a fun fragrance, suitable for nights out.

I don’t like fruity scents and love the Petite Robe Noir line! This one is all blueberry and vanilla in the top then quickly morphs into patch and musk. In the dry down the cotton candy is more present with the blueberry. The flowers, jasmine and orange blossom, definitely are there. I don’t smell much beyond that.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

I’d say Intense is perfect to sum up this little gem. Of the La Petite Robe Line, this one is my favorite. It does remind me of Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo, so the comparison is correct. The slight differences are SM is more creamy/milky, as this is more fresh and a tad bit more aquatic. This also has a nice delicate powder to it. The cotton candy is subtle, not sticky nor cloying. It’s a perfect balance. Blueberry is one of my favorites. I could not pass this up. The fragrance is sensual, yummy, womanly, yet playful. The blueberry is like a nice French blueberry pastry. The rose brings a soft feminine floral to the composition. The base flows nice, the musk is not heavy, the patchelli is refined. It all flows like a soft puffy cloud. Nothing synthetic, A very good realistic quality. The longevity on me has been great, projection seems average. The intensity keeps your nose intrigued all day long! xox

Smells so scrummy! On first spray I wasn’t too sure, as I adore LPRN eau de parfum with the juicy cherries but I think this is up there with it. Fuzzy cotton candy which is sweet but in a sophisticated type of way. Juicy blueberries, patchouli and vanilla. Delicious! It reminds me of a grown up Midnight Fantasy. This juice is additive!

  29. :

    5 out of 5

This fragrance is everything I had been hoping for, although I did not imagine it as such a multi-faceted scent. I agree with a review below me that if you just looked at the notes you would think this basically just a blueberry cotton candy fragrance, I tried to vote to help balance out the main smells to my nose but there is only so much I can do.
First of all, the best bit is I smell sugary blueberries from start to finish. This is my favorite part of the fragrance, and it does not tease and fade away which I’m grateful for.
The rest of the fragrance though is an interesting two-part bit. On one hand I get a fresher side of the fragrance (perhaps bergamot and florals) there is something just a tiny bit masculine. It reminds me of a clean men’s cologne, perhaps like Dior Homme cologne. On the other hand I get some spicyness and earthyness. The patchouli in here is not super clean like Jimmy Choo or Flowerbomb nor not as nearly as aggressive as Angel by Thierry. It’s somewhere in between, a smooth patchouli with a little bite. The sandalwood and cassis contributes. Something about it reminds me of Christmas time. I also think of Blue Sugar by Aquolina a bit.
Overall the feeling I get from this fragrance is insatiable and addicting (from the blueberries), yet it’s balanced and interesting. The association of Christmas makes it appealing for winter, but I would wear this anytime.

This little beauty puts some pep in my step. I am in love with LPRN (Cherry) and LPRN Couture (Raspberry) so this is another new love. I was not sure at first but she grew on me. Now it is a romance!
The Blueberries are amazing in this. They are there and in your face from start to finish. Not like a little girl type but more mature and edgy. The sweet Cotton Candy note is also prominent from the onset. The Vanilla kicks in after a few minutes and is just what one would expect of Guerlain’s infamous Vanilla. Pure Gorgeousness!
I also detected the Patchouli which is light and pretty. The Raspberry is light as well. The Rose and other florals are most noticeable on the drydown as the main two stars (Blueberry and Cotton Candy) of this juice calm down.
LPRN Intense brings to my mind my friends house. She is constantly burning candles from somewhere that smell like Sweet Blueberry Tarts. At first spritz that is what immediately came to mind. Then it changed into a more elegant and complex scent that I will be wearing often this Spring.
The sillage is enourmous at first then it calms down to become moderate. The longevity is awesome. I was catching whiffs of it after bathing. Thank you and much love Thierry Wasser!

  31. :

    3 out of 5

Mm, yes. I love this. The darkness of literally every other LPRN is gone though, and I found that darkness very becoming in counterbalancing the delectable notes. This one goes all the way in terms of delectability, but I certainly don’t find it to be an edible gourmand, nor is it as saccharine as the three highest-voted notes might make one fear. The patchouli and cassis leaf (normally one of my least favorite notes, but here I love it) make sure that this is the case. Juicy blueberry goodness. Mmm.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

It’s not a real review because my single test wasn’t carefully done but that single test was enough for me to add it to my wishlist
To be honest I would buy it no matter I really like it or not.because I’ve collected all the other la petites available;edp, edt, couture and fraiche
This has nothing to do with the others although something in it makes me think that it makes sense that they had put it in this family
When first sprayed I could easily detect blueberry and this made me excited since I don’t have any other perfume with this note(Lanvin me and bond no.9 love NYC for her are still far from my hands)but I couldn’t pickup anything like cotton candy and this was dissapointing(I was looking for something like pink sugar plus blueberry)
I could smell sweet juicy blueberry and other berry type fruits and a soft whisper of Musky florals but after couple of minutes I could smell the cotton candy note and it was a relief.I like this cottoncandy-blueberrychouli and I find it very modern, unique and a must try for gourmand lovers.however as “for the love of perfume” said below it isn’t as childish as my imaginations.it’s very sweet but that soft whisper of Musky florals prevents it from becoming something foody or childlike.I think this is going to be my favorite in la petite family(edp was my favorite although it’s the least wearable one for me)
It seems to be potent just like it’s siblings
    It’s not safe for blindbuy

At last I had the chance to test it.. So different from the first petite robe noire, this is much less synthetic. It’s syrupy but seems much more balanced than it’s “mother”.When she was all about cherry, her daughter is all about blue fruit and candy. A nice perfume, that lasts quite a lot, and in the end goes to a sweet berry patchouli and sandalwood skinscent. In my opinion it doesn’t project a lot, I would never call this a heavy perfume. The guerlain bottle is very beautiful and I like the colour blue!

  34. :

    5 out of 5

I bought this one because I really love gourmand fragrances, and I am sooo glad I did!! This is not a “little girly” perfume, but rather more a dark, sultry, sweet, blueberry jam. With the musk, it gently tones down some of the sweetness but not all of it, and the rose, jasmine and orange blossom give it a soft floral touch. And it really lasts a long time….6+ hours.
I am very excited to have this in my collection. I am thinking about buying another bottle, because when I find a perfume I love….they discontinue it. It seems to be that way with a lot of fragrances.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

This isn’t what I expected, but I see the LPRN-DNA now.
This is a smoky/spicy/patch dark blueberry-cotton-candy to me.
I blind bought a 100ml for a good price since I have all the LPRNoires and gourmands/foodie/sweeties are my faves.
I did expect a girlie Pink Sugar type, but this is still amazing!
VERY VERY POTENT! I used one spray on a tissue, and my whole office smelled like it. In a very delicious way, not overpowering or bad- and no one complained. But it’s like blueberry potpourri instead of a sugary fluff of cotton candy.
Dried down to a fruity patchouli that reminds me of Oriens.
I love it tho! As sophisticated as wearing cotton candy can get. 😉

  36. :

    3 out of 5

This is classy and something a little on the mature side. I get the sweet fruity notes like pineapple syrup, the fresh raspberry, vanilla and a lovely powdery floral woodsy base.
I definitely prefer this over the original. None of the sour nutty sickliness. Thus is more refined to my nose. While it is strong and lasts all day I don’t think a small spray of this could be misconstrued as offensive. Unlike its sickly big sister.
To me this actually smells like a much better quality version of Sofia by Sofia Vergara. Or I should say, Sofia is uncannily like this one. I tried this on my left wrist while the original was blasting sour cherries on my right. So this is definitely going down in my books as something to try again. I am looking for an alternative to Armani Si to wear on days where I feel like a sexy gourmandise fragrance. The only kicker is I am not sure if it is a tad on the mature side for me, or too similar to so many of the common gourmands on the market.
    Would still highly recommend.

This one is dark and sweet. Mysterious but not too serious. It has a winter, Christmas, fairy tale vibe to it, but it isn’t childish, it is mature without being dated or too conservative. It’s not my cup of tea, but it is a good fragrance, a quality product. Try it if you’re a fan of berries.

  38. :

Starts off similar to bubblegum. Fades to a slightly nutty aroma. The end is basically a vanilla musk. Nice but pretty eh

I just tried this today and it smells a little spicy on me.Does anyone know what I am smelling as it’s notes are all on the sweet side.Anyway I love it and its very long lasting on me so far.I prefer it to the other editions which for me are much sweeter.Perhaps its my skin chemistry or something.I was very lucky as sales lady gave me two samples of it when I purchased a powder brush from Guerlain.

  42. :

Blueberry cotton candy! This is the most yummy of the four La Petite perfumes that I own, there’s a little bit of sugary vanilla in the background of blueberry cotton candy. I am most definitely in love with this delicious fragrance!

  43. :

    4 out of 5

I love it, but I do need to say: this version is far LESS intensive than the original. Sure it has good lasting power, but the silage is minimal. For $160+tax , I was expecting more. But the Beauty Boutique at Shoppers didn’t have a tester, they had a spend your points event, and I bought it with points. The bottle is gorgeous, typical Guerlain, the juice is blue. I hope it doesn’t turn brown in time, like most blue perfumes. It’s very fresh, bergamots, which I adore, predominate the opening. Cotton candy is the next strong note, while a patchouli with some vanilla combo is in the drydown. It’s very lovely, quite simple, much less sophisticated or strong compared with the original, I don’t know why it’s called intense. But it’s elegant, classy, youthful , and I love it. It has an airy feeling that makes you think of wind indeed, it’s light, chic and carefree. According to my taste, the most wearable and pretty of the series, but I’ve only sampled 3 , and I know there are lots of flankers. Beautiful.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Another flanker of a flanker of a flanker that bears no relation to the original, yay. This one should be renamed Jumped The Shark. LPRNI is an insanely sweet berry concoction, an expensive winter milkshake of a scent, made just in time to give me a headache if I’m next to anyone wearing it during the holiday season. There are cheaper gourmands out there that will do what LPRNI can do. Merry Berry Christmas and bah humbug!

You are anosmic to some note on La Petite Robe Noire Intense, probably because there was a lot of it and your nose couldn’t process it.Perhaps the cotton candy was too much for your nose, perhaps another note.Sometimes this anosmia lifts up with time and familiarity, sometimes it doesn’t. Always test perfumes before buying and try to identify the note.

Hello everyone! I don´t know if I am losing my sense of smell but I tried it on my skin and on a blotter and I can’t smell it. I wanted this perfume and it was the first one on my list of “I want” but I removed it after trying it. Maybe the bottle had water in it? I also tried the new My Burberry Black on my other arm and it was really strong and I can still smell it after washing my hands so it must not be my sense of smell after all- I am going to try it again for sure since I love La Petite Robe Noire line 🙂

I just received this fragrance a few weeks ago but I wanted to wait and review it after I had tested it properly.I have now worn this three times in mild fall weather and this fragrance is absolutely beautiful for gourmand lovers. You can really smell all the notes in this however the one note that I can’t really pick up on my skin is the rose. The cotton candy note is high quality and blended well with the typical guerlain creamy vanilla note. The blueberry is very noticable but its not a fresh blueberry it is a warm blueberry jam or sauce warming on a pan.I can’t believe the people complaining about the longevity of this because on my dry skin this has amazing longevity.I spray once on the neck and once on the stomach and this lasts ALL day.The drydown is beautiful. The sandalwood vanilla and white musk is rather woody and heavy.I don’t think I would wear this in the sunmer as it would be way to sweet but worn fall through spring is perfect.Cotton candy is one of my favorite smella but I wanted a grown up cotton candy and they git this one absolutely right in my humble opinion! This is creamy warm balsamic and woodsey with a whimsical dose of blueberry cotton candy woven through the composition.I would wear this out at night because its rather dressy and sophisticated. So if your like me and like class but have a whimsical eclectic streak as well def try this fragrance its high quality ingredients are smooth and utterly charming and classy! This is a strong love for me and the bottle is adorable. This is Parisienne perfume at its finest!

I wanted to like/love this but it is not my scent or the scent i had in my mind this will be. I just got a sample and i have to say it is not my thing. I liked La petite robe noir not my favorite too but i like it, and i expected else from this. I’m little disappointed. The lasting power is very good but the part i like is after staying 8 hours on my skin. Not going to buy it.

The opening smells like Guerlain’s take on Aquolina Pink Sugar. The dry-down is the standard La Petite Robe Noire with loads of patchouli. I do understand the potential of this perfume, but honestly I could never wear it.

    SHORT LIVED HERESY
    _______________________________________________________
Since LPRN is one of my favourite fragrances, I was looking forward to smelling the new intense version.
2 weeks back, I got the chance. In the beginning everything seems like a bad joke, because it opens with cotton candy. Why bad joke? I consider the cherry-licorice combination of LPRN an original masterpiece. Having that in the back of my mind, I consider the bubble gum, cotton candy approach like heresy. It is somehow familiar, but compared with LPRN, this is like a distant cousin from the country side.
And it doesn’t deserve the attribute ‘intense’ -> because it isn’t intense. It lasts only around 3 hours and fades away afterwards. Quite disappointing.
    Longetivity: – 3/10
    Sillage: – 3/10
All in all: 1 out of 10 subjective points (because it doens’t deserve the name LPRN)

Bought my bottle at the airport, which later on I found very appropriate.
The LPRN line has an addictive note to it, I swear.
Like drugs, you may find the initial experience weird or even harsh, yet give it another try and, voila, you’re hooked. My first go at the original LPRN resulted in horror and heartbreak (scrubbing off a Guerlain? No way!), but after my second attempt (years later, I must admit), I ended up buying the entire range (yes, even LPRN Eau Fraiche, yum)!
LPRN Intense scared me a bit – an even sweeter scent? Surely I won’t handle that.
Yet, even though it is, no doubt, extremely sweet (cotton candy? sure. Blueberries? you mean “sugared blueberries” a-la-bubblegum), it is also very well made. I must admit that I consider a well made sweet perfume a far more complicated and challenging creation than a chypre, for example, as you can go very very wrong with sweet scents.
LPRNI smells modern, sugary and even a bit loud, but it’s a good perfume, and the dry down is lovely and pleasant, fruity and far more delicate.
This review started with me stating I got my LPRNI at the airport, and indeed, this perfume smells a bit like the scent of duty-free shops – sweet, happy, luxurious, free from the worries of everyday life.
So come on and don your LPRN, it’s a joyous, carefree world out there.

I finally got a chance to test this scent properly, and it is very similar to the original LPRN, especially in the first few hours, however the drydown of the blue one is sweeter, with vanilla beautifully complementing the flowery heart. The blueberry and cotton candy notes are not entirely realistic, but they do not stand out as much as I had expected, so it’s not too bad. In terms of projection and longevity, this is the best product from the L
