Description
La Perla in Rosa Eau de Parfum is a new edition available as eau de perfume, with a composition different from the previous, and it arrives on the market in 2014. Flacon of the new edition takes shape of EDT version and is embellished with matt glass with a powdery-pink stopper that goes well with perfume liquid color and outer packaging.
Fruit zests of red berries, red currant and juicy mandarin are dominant in top notes, as prelude to flowers in the heart. Central notes are enriched with fragrant oils of Turkish rose, orange blossom and powdery, warm shades of orris, providing deep and subtle character. Base notes attract attention with Indonesian patchouli oil and warm, soft vanilla, spiced with gourmand accords of pink praline. The composition is more mature, deeper and warmer than the previous one, La Perla in Rosa Eau de Toilette.
New edition La Perla in Rosa Eau de Parfum plays on chypre notes intertwining with flowers, fruit and gourmand flavors. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum. 2014 edition.

Gosh this is nice. One of the most beautiful, inexpensive and little known perfumes out there. A simply beautiful powdery candied but not old rose that hangs in there all day. It’s right up there in quality.

If you can imagine this…YSL Babydoll and Jil Sander Jil had a lovechild. It has that sort of darker, unisex gourmand sweetness going on underneath all the pretty, sparkly, sour berries and bright, soapy, “juicy” bulgarian rose on top. It has lasted ALL day on me, too. Definitely following the trend toward Arabic-inspired rose compositions, also reminds me quite a bit of Brulure de Rose by Parfumerie Generale. The fruit is more turned up in In Rosa EDP. It’s nice. If you like slightly powdery, rose-gourmand scents, you will like the EDP. I have not tried the EDT.

I tested it! It’s a nice scent. It smells fresh and put together, a litle powdery. Rose is distinctive but not overpowering. I dectect rest of the flowers, but gourmand notes are not really noticable.
I recommend it for day wear.
