Description

Lancome launches La Nuit Tresor fragrance in February 2015. The scent is a flanker of the original Tresor from 1990.

The composition is announced as a gourmand aphrodisiac and a love potion created by perfumers Christophe Raynaud and Amandine Marie. It supposedly depicts the dark side of rose and mixes notes of black rose with Tahitian vanilla orchid absolute. There are also accords of natural incense, papyrus, patchouli and litchi praline added to the mix.

The faces of the campaign are Penélope Cruz and Ilay Kurelović and photo signed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Video campaign directed by Rob Marshall.

The bottle is decorated with a diamond-shaped satin black rose and bow. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

La Nuit Tresor was created by Christophe Raynaud and Amandine Clerc-Marie.

This perfume is about another sugar overdose with raspberry and some sour red berries. The opening, drydown is the same, longevity and sillage is pretty good. I’m not lover of such sugarbabes.
You can hear such extremely sweet no-name scents from any luxury brands.
Imho, who loves La vie est belle will love it too.

I did not like this perfume because it is soooooo sweet.
    More than LVEB.
I’m buying this perfume for my aunt and it is so perfect on her.
Yesterday I bought a bottle and….it was again so sugary, Oh why……
    I don’t know…
I like it on others but not on me…
    Try before you buy.
    Edit:
I’m wearing it today and I realized that I smell something burnt and sweet…
a familiar note to another one perfume….oh, wait it is the licorice :((
I cannot stand it…why they add it in this fume…
Now I know what is gong wrong with my chemistry.
    Licorice + me =…not good friends…only in Lolita Lempicka but I haven’t
wear it for some time now…damn…

To me, this is dark Christmas in a bottle. Very “Tis the Season” with an edge. Not for me.

Here is exactly what this scent smells like on me: mentholated drugstore strawberry chapstick plus sweet, sticky caramel. Sounds odd, but it’s actually pretty good and it works. I’m not sure what note gives it that mentholated part. Is it the incense? The papyrus? I don’t dislike it and it’s certainly a well-made perfume. It’s just not a complete love for me. But definitely try it if you want a potent, sexy, gourmand fragrance. Longevity and sillage are really impressive! I have dry skin but this stuff doesn’t quit. Between this and LVEB, Lancôme has really created some modern powerhouse scents that last.

My 2nd review: FIrst thing this Monday morning I just had one of my male coworkers come into my office and I said “What’s up?”
He was looking around the room. He said “I just had to start my morning smelling those flowers or that plant you have in your office.”
I said “What flowers?” He looked at my fake Ficus tree and nodded that way.
I laughed and said “That’s fake. LOL”.
He said, “Then, what smells so good?”
I said, “Is it my perfume?” (I’m wearing La Nuit Tresor today)
I held up my wrist to him and he sniffed the perfume.
    “Yup, that’s it.”
    Hahaha….men love this perfume.

I bought the smallest size of this one based on reviews and was disappointed. There is a kids cough syrup, I have used it during my stay in India. Smells exactly like that. I know that kids cough syrups have sweetners added to make them more palatable and better smelling for children. But that was the end of my tryst with this fragrance. I gave it away to someone who had a better opinion of this fragrance.
But, the bottle is great looking, if you happen to be a bottle collector as well.

I bought this randomly while I was doing one of my many spur-of-the-moment perfume browsing. I wanted a sexy and seductive perfume, and I had read a lot of reviews how this is scoring so well with both men and women. It smelled sweet, feminine and very juicy.
Huge regret as i find it overpoweringly sweet and thick, with notes like vanilla, tobacco and rose. These are beautiful notes but the composition of this fragrance doesn’t work for me. It cheapens the notes with the overly sweet vanilla and its base is like a typical female perfume. It has amazing longevity, to my disliking, as the scent stays in your hair and your clothes, bedsheets etc. When you think it smells like tobacco it’s not exactly a nice perfume to wake up to and use when you just showered. Headache!!

I wanted to love this, I have been spraying the sample on myself several times a day for the past two or three days and after an hour or so it fades to nothing. OR at least nothing wowing…On my skin it is just so underwhelming and bland. To me all I really get is a very safe and creamy, lightly spiced vanilla..I guess I am very sensitive to vanilla…pretty much none of the other notes come through. I definitely don’t enjoy what it has to offer.

This scent is sweet & sexy! People will notice this gorgeous scent on you! I ordered this perfume with my Lancôme points. I decided to give this away to my best friend, because I didn’t feel that the scent suited me. When I think of the kind of woman that would wear this scent they’d be a seductive, dark haired, gorgeous woman.

Love this perfume. It smells sweet but mature, sophisticated, alluring, and interesting. I always feel pretty when I wear it. I think it’s more appropriate for the cooler months, fall & winter. Lovely scent! Last time I wore it, I was told “wow, you smell delicious!”. The performance is great. Last all day into the evening.

There are no imperfections in La Nuit .
    None.
You absolutely have to have confidence wearing this it’s gorgeous, sexy, dreamy!
Lancôme should be proud. The bottle is gorgeous.
It is tropical, it is seductive and mysterious it’s an aphrodisiac in a bottle.

Can be worn at day time when layered with Tresor in love.

This is easily one of my favorite fragrances in my collection. It’s a grown-up gourmand with the sweetness of strawberries & other fruit (the citrus is light) over a smoky praline/vanilla base. The strawberry scent is very light–you know it’s strawberry but it’s not an orchard. Another review mentioned Strawberry Funnelcake and I totally agree.
Also, upon first spray, there is a “menthol-like” top note which Is a bit quirky to me, but that soon gives way to the sweet & fruity accord and the sultry smoke.
I know many people say this is a date-night/evening fragrance because of its powerful sillage, but I love to wear this during the day and while I’m in the office too. I enjoy the lingering sweetness on my sweaters days after I’ve worn the perfume.

My summer 2018 scent hands down!
On my last day before rolling into my 6 weeks off for springbreak I went out for some shopping. I looked forward to the upcomming weeks and wanted to treat myself with a new perfume.
I picked this up and tested it on my skin and felt like this one has got to come with me.(even though the folie one was on my want list for quite some time)
This is a sweet and warm scent. For me the praline and caramel are upfront. That litchi and patchouli combo make this one so juicy so crisp.
I have scents that are is this same vibe and sweet and all over the place…
But I have to say this one was just the thing I needed for this summer that has gone by like a blink of an eye.

Only after buying it, I realized that it reminds me Wish by Chopard only much more exciting!..
Litchi, insence, coffee, caramel, praline… It’s beyond sexy and intriguing! So dark and catchy…
    My new sweet love!

  17. :

In the first few minutes it smells like some sort of flavored cough syrup. However, after about 15 minutes or so this mellows out and the rose becomes more noticeable while retaining the sweetness from the other ingredients. Not my cup of tea but it’s made well, perfect for those who love very girly fragrances.

I never thought I would have a signature fragrance because I absolutely love all kinds of fragrances and it depends on my mood which one I choose as my SOTD. Tresor La Nuit has become my signature. I smell mostly like soft berry caramel. It is a soft sexy smell but at the same time intense and strong. This sent transports me to the night. An elegant sweet evening. I also own the flanker Tresor A La Folie, that one is a warm satin vanilla sheet just dreamy.

Lancôme La nuit Tresor Oh how enchanting you are!…..
    soft yet loud
    Sexy but also innocent
    festive although homey & cosy!
As Minag stated in her previous review ‘it’s the perfect winter warm-up’ I have been using this as my go to this winter.
It makes me think of French Cosmopolitan Cafe/restaurants with gorgeous wafts of’ praline, caramel, coffee, chocolate, strawberries, lychees in the air!,This screams yummy to me! it’s decadent and lush. A lovely fruity floral gourmand soup of deliciousness! Perfectly rounded, with a smokey patchouli and caramel base.
This frag is forever changing! I pick up different notes at different times! One night laying in bed I strongly detected a childhood favourite sweet and was transported to my childhood with memories of eating these then called ‘Red Skins’ with a picture of an Indian on the wrapper! A classic candy bar of the 80’s!it was a medium colour pink with a very distinct tarty sweet Berry flavour! It smelled very familiar!
I can also see the resemblance of this to LVEB like others have! Although to me this is more balanced and less screechy sweet and richer in an elegant way.
I could write a full review on the bottle alone! As I like to appreciate the design element and the compatibility of the juice to its bottle! I find this bottle ‘chic’ and classy and compliments the contents very well, with its rich sultry colours and black sexy velvet rose & bow!
I will always want this in my collection. I Would love to own its flankers Limitee,L’Eau Toilette and also the delicious Luminuese!
Projection and longetivity are both good! To summarise I would say this is a unique Fruitchoulie so well formulated and balanced, worthy for a place in a collection or for rotation for any perfume lover! A pleasure to wear this! with its syrupy liquor and night time vibe! It is also equally suitable for cooler climate daytime wear!
I’m yet to try in the warmer weather! Apparently according to others here it shines with the devine fruity notes and rose surfacing. Mmmm can’t wait! Thanks Lancôme for this wonderful creation! I am a new loyal customer and fanXx

I’ve already found my favorite fragrance for men, But I’m still looking for my favorite perfume for women, I think la nuit tresor would be in my top 5 for sure If not number 1. It has a deep and mysterious character which I love.
I smell mostly chocolate, strawberry and litchi.
I picture a Lady in her late 20’s or in her early 30’s wearing this. She is georgeous and getting all The attention from men. She has a smoky eyes with a dark red lipstick and she dressed all black. That’s how I see la nuit tresor.

A sexy and sultry fragrance! Oddly I can pick up nearly every note in this perfume even though there are so many. The ones that scream the loudest though are the praline, strawberry, litchi, patchouli and vanilla. I honestly don’t get caramel but that’s maybe because I own Bonbon by Viktor & Rolf where the caramel dominates heavily. I agree that this is similar to La vie est belle and has hints of the Tresor Midnight Rose. It’s also similar in character to many other popular heavy perfumes today so if you have those, you don’t necessarily need this and vice versa. Projection and longevity are beast (10+ hours) so this perfume is definitely worth the splurge because you get your money’s worth. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and recommend this one!

  24. :

I wish people could vote on a similar perfume other than its flankers and knockoffs… Just saying

  25. :

It’s warm summer day today as I’m wearing sample of this perfume.
I was expecting something heavier and darker from the Nuit named fragrance.
What I get is dominant strawberry and flowers, very pleasant, shimmer but summer, daily, girly scent.
There is some musk and patchouli in the background but very well blended and not intrusive.
Generally nice, sweet, fruity day scent.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

I love wearing LNT in the summer because, paradoxically, on me this smells much more delightful then, as the fruity-gourmand notes, and especially the rose, stand out beautifully, while the earthy patchouli plays quietly in the background. Also, the litchi is very prominent on my skin and it brings to mind the sweetness of grapes, which, combined with the sensual bouquet of dark, mysterious roses glazed with melted caramel, makes a deep, heady, and I might say addictive potion! It’s somewhat similar to Calvin Klein’s Euphoria, but more complex, richer and better blended than that one.
In the winter, however, LNT seems to develop quite a different story on me, with a stronger dose of patchouli (the heavy Lancome patchouli, which I confess I’m not overly fond of) on a dark cloud of incense, papyrus, and coffee. That’s the only reason I can’t love this otherwise very good fragrance. My chemistry must be at fault here, not the fragrance.
Oh, and the bottle is lovely! 🙂

  27. :

    4 out of 5

70% similar to La Vie Est Belle EDP and 90% to Tresor Midnight Rose, whatever it is, I like it very much, sweet from top to bottom, and longevity is amazing, very strong note in the opening but after an hour is becomes smooth and delicate sweet, very sexy

  28. :

    4 out of 5

My feelings about this fragrance are mixed, as it improves as it dries down and reaches the base. It’s well blended and addictive, it smells pricey. I love the notes. I keep burying my nose in my wrist and drinking it in. Very sweet and gourmand. Unfortunately, the patchouli and fruits in this together create a medicinal, mentholated honey cough drop scent that makes me smell like I’m contagious. Not bad though, for something that smells like being sick.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

This smells delightful. It’s a gourmand that I couldn’t quite tell what it reminded me of, but then I got it… Carnival Strawberry Funnel Cake!… mmm. Not tooth decay icing sweet, more of a warm baked good smell, with a hint of blossoms to balance it out. It changes as it dries down to a more vanilla baked kind of smell which I like. I personally love it and always get whiffs of the most pleasant fruity baked smell when I wear it. It might be too gourmand for some, but I am really starting to enjoy it. I also agree with one reviewer’s berries and creme brûlée description 😉

  30. :

Probably it was a change in the temps, with seasons changing. Perfumes change a lot with the climate.

  31. :

    5 out of 5

I have owned this for a few months now, and recently either I or the actual scent has changed.
What used to be a gorgeous bottle filled with nothing but dominating praline and patchoulli has transformed into a gorgeous litchi-caramel mixed with light citruses and florals. No matter the smell, you can’t deny that it is blended to perfection!
PS – Kinda getting sick of seeing “Can a guy pull this off?”
I’m a man and I wear whatever I want. If you like it, go for it!

  32. :

i don’t know why, i am getting a very synthetic smell from this. It also dries down to a hairspray smell :/

I always seem to be late in the game, but late is better than never!
HOW CAN I NOT LOVE Lancôme Trésor La Nuit L’Eau de Parfum? Just like saying, how can I not enjoy Gone With The Wind, or An Affair To Remember, or…?
I don’t have to say anything else about this fragrance, because you guys already said it ALL for me! Maybe just a little thing that I would like to add: there is NO musk here, and I’m VERY HAPPY with that fact 🙂

  34. :

    3 out of 5

This is such a lovely sexy musk that I’m surprised I don’t see it listed. La Nuit has a lush rose that is dusky and warm, very inviting but still sweet. I couldn’t stop smelling myself honestly, and I got a few compliments too which was great. I anticipate I’ll upgrade to a full bottle from my official tester. I’m really happy that I’ve found a rose fragrance that I enjoy outside of the usual ‘and oud’ combo.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

A first whiff of berries and crème brûlée, followed by a nocturnal note of dark rose incense brings warmth to a fresh citrus patchouly evening. Sexy, warm and inviting, like a date night… though you won’t have any regrets if you wear it during the day in the fall or winter.

If you want the best affordable “clone” of Tresor La Nuit get yourself Armaf “Signature True” Women, I have got mine for £18 on ebay, – top quality, same notes, hope they will add some new great Armafs to the database at last.
There is another newbie called “The Pride Of Armaf” Women- same as Dior’s Hypnotic Poison.

In my country we have candy named Mamba that I have been eating since I was a little kid. It has specific, fruity-sugary scent. One day I was sitting on a lecture and I felt Mamba next to me.
I asked a friend if she’s been eating it. She said it’s La Nuit Tresor. Imagine that – a childhood in a bottle. I love sweet scents but the fruitness of it is a bit of an overkill. Don’t get me wrong – it is a nice scent. Perhaps because of the association I feel myself a bit too old to wear this. For me, I wish it had something darker in it to make these fruits less loud. Maybe if the incense and spice was stronger… I guess I need to explore flankers.
The bottle is fantastic. I seen it resting on my friend’s shelf and I found it very pretty. Reminds me of expensive lingerie.

  39. :

    3 out of 5

As soon as I sat down next to my husband wearing this, he asked if I had just eaten something with strawberry jam.
I can’t smell the strawberry on myself. To me, it’s more of a pear/caramel combination, with vanilla and a little bit of rose in the drydown.
I do like the sillage of this, though. For the first hour is heavy, and then it’s moderate. Anyone within arm-length can smell it. It’s got great staying power, too.
A few people compare this to Angel, and I honestly don’t see that many similarities between them. This is warm and sweet, like being inside a caramel praline pie, where Angel is hot and peppery, like a spicy vanilla.

    @ Mellk
Oh, How I Wish I’d Listened To You!
If I’d just read your review and not the hundreds of others, I’d have saved myself a lot of money and heartache. Sadly, my experience with La Nuit Tresor is exactly the same as yours. Way too much sour screaming Lychee (Litchi). And it just goes on and on. I barely smell anything else at all.
For me, upon first spray La Nuit Tresor actually smells a lot like Banana Skins – Yuk! Then I smell Lychee. But at that point it’s usually with something else. Maybe Strawberry. And actually, smells quite nice. Then after just a few minutes it starts to smell like Lychee Shampoo. Not great, but still not awful. At this stage there is also a very faint smell of praline in the air. But it’s very faint and I can’t smell it at all if I sniff my wrist. After that the Lychee just gets more and more sour until it is met by my arch enemy Musk. I Hate Musk! And it’s the same dam Musk in every perfume these days. The only perfume that I don’t mind the smell of the musk in, is Flowerbomb Nectar. Maybe because there is only a tiny amount and it’s warmed and sweetened by the Blackcurrant. In the Original Flowerbomb… I Hate The Musk! (Just Too Much!) And in La Nuit Tresor… It’s The Same Musk Again! So, pretty much after the first 10 minutes La Nuit Tresor carries on all day as a very linear sour Lychee & Musk.
Only after going to bed and waking up in the morning do I smell Praline & Caramel. Too late by then! I’ve got to shower and start all over again. At no point while wearing La Nuit Tresor do I smell… Incense or Liquorice (Two of my favourite notes) Or do I smell Patchouli. I don’t even smell my other arch enemy, Rose.
My only hope for La Nuit Tresor now, is to try it with different shower gels. I always find with each perfume I own, (From loves to just likes) finding the right shower gel for it makes a huge difference in bringing out the best in a perfume. Sometimes a perfume that would have ended up being given away can be rescued by using the right shower gel. It doesn’t always work though. We Shall See!

Blind bought this after seeing all the raving reviews and the notes which in theory would be pleasing to me. Well, I’ve learned my lesson. Personally, I don’t like this–cloying and “old” (I can wear many “old” fragrances such as Emeraude but this one is just offputting). The litchi is just too prominent on me. There’s also a distinctive musk about this that I don’t see listed. Definitely an elegant scent for nighttime wear and a “mature” vibe, excellent sillage and longevity, just not for me.

  42. :

I wanted to love this because the bottle is gorgeous! If you dislike strong patchouli & incense in perfume like I do, stay away from this. I love incense in real life but it’s too much for me in perfume form. That bottle tho.. sigh

I sprayed only one spritzer on my wrist 5 days ago, and I can still smell it on the arm of my coat. At first, there was nothing special in it, but now, it is a sexy, dark and really likeable fragrance for me. It just lasts and lasts.. I tried more perfumes, but this one is the best. I’m gonna buy it.

  50. :

    4 out of 5

The bottle is stunning, one of my absolute favorites in my collection.
The scent is…sweet. I like sweet, but there’s something so abrasive in the top notes that it seems near fermented, like a batch of litchi wine with a few pumps of praline flavored coffee syrup. Sharp like a 90’s B&BW Black Raspberry Vanilla or Sun Ripened Raspberry body mist and sweet like caramel drizzle. After an hour it settles to an expensive candy scent, a little LVEB and a little Black Opium. I’ll often catch whiffs of this on pretty girls in trendy bars and it’s very lovely on them but just not my thing.
I’m surprised to see some comparisons to Euphoria in particular. Notes aside, the best way I can differentiate the two is that La Nuit smells like the girl that will throw a drink in your face and Euphoria smells like the girl who will follow it up with a knee to the groin.

Hello from Decodawn. Tresor Nuit edp is fantastic. Very long lasting & the silage is enormous! Total knockout! I would class this fragrance as a fruit -chouli, with a gourmand twist as the praline, is very prominent. The first spray is quite strong and almost overpowering but wait half an hour for the dry down for the heart and base to develop. The patchouli base is to die for.I love patchouli, One of my favourite fragrances was ‘Midnight Poison’ by Dior which was sadly discontinued and also Elle edp by YSL. Tresor nuit reminds me of both these fragrances but with a difference. If you love these fragrances you will really love Tresor Nuit. Lancome are on Gift in Boots where a Mini 5ml boxed is amongst the freebies. Ideal to test before splashing out on a large bottle. I have also purchased a 50ml gift set of the body lotion and shower gel as I love to layer my fragrances. My heart has fallen in love yet again, so I know it won’t be long before I purchase a full sized bottle. I cannot get over how long the fragrance lasts! it really is excellent and therefore a very good investment. I love the marketing and advertising with Penelope Cruz, she is the perfect muse with her dark hair and eyes, and sets the tone of the fragrance. Night, fun, seduction, sexy, mysterious, woman. My husband Martin loves it he said “wow you smell amazing Dawn”! A big thumbs up from Deco dawn. Highly recommended.

I really love the scent of this perfume very much. But on my skin it seemed to have a pretty weak sillage unfortunately. I don’t get whiffs of it during the day and I have to put my nose very close to the place I sprayed it on to smell it :'(. Then I asked a few people if they could smell it on me, and they did! So it now seems that it has at least moderate projection. Longevity on my skin is moderate too.
Conclusion: love love love the scent, it’s very sweet and it smells kinda fresh and warm at the same time. But I really wish I could smell it on myself for at least a few hours after application.
I would highly recommend this to sweet scent lovers like myself. But beware, it’s very addictive! You will likely want to smell yourself all day when wearing this scent.

The closest to this is Armani Si edp but Tresor Nuit is much smoother and less sharper. It lasts for ages on my skin – till the following day and the sillage is monstrous!! One of the best rose and patch combo perfume that ive smelt.

I purchased a 10ml decant of this perfume because of the crazy hype that it gets and honestly, I don’t get it at all, but then I’m never really that impressed with Lancome-all their perfumes smell very synthetic to me. It did smell somehow familiar though, and then someone said it: strawberry chapstick. Yes, it smells so much like strawberry chapstick that it’s all I can associate it with. The opening is the worst part for me. I get a blast of synthetic lychee, sour rose, and overly sanitized patchouli, and it’s all so chemical-smelling that it nearly burns my nose. The dry down is actually pretty nice though, but it takes so long to get to it that it’s not worth it, and in the mean time it smells straight up like medicated strawberry chapstick. The dry down isn’t anything like the listed notes, I get a yummy chocolate-vanilla-mentholated patchouli accord. Kind of like in Angel (I love Angel!) but don’t get me wrong, it smells nothing like Angel. They just both have that chocolate-vanilla-mentholated patchouli accord. If it only smelled like the dry down, I would buy a bottle, but I can’t endure two+ hours of aromachemicals and chapstick. La Vie Est Belle has the same problem and I hated it at first, but thankfully the harsh opening only last for several minutes and the dry down is lovely if you’re a fan of gourmands, i grew to like it. I also don’t get what’s “sexy” about this. It smells “young”, and I don’t mean that in a bad way, it could be fun and pretty on the right person, but I don’t associate young with sexy, or anything that a teen could pull off for that matter. I wear “young” scents all the time, they’re just not my choice when I want to feel sexy. I don’t even like the bottle lol, it’s ostentatious. But all that being said I still don’t hate it or anything. Sometimes I do try ty obwear it just for the dry down, but it always disappoints and I wouldn’t wear it going out, it just doesn’t smell very good on me. Even my fiance, who always tells me I smell amazing and loves 95% of my perfumes, had nothing to say about this one. On the bright side (for those who are fans), the sillage and longevity are excellent, but I’ll be sticking to my Poison Girl for when I’m in the mood for a sticky-sweet gourmand. Dont be offended at my review, it may very well smell beautiful and sexy on/to someone else, but my nose just isn’t feeling it.

I like this – the patchouli note brings it close to my Armani Si EdP. I don’t get much incense, just deep syrupy fruitiness and caramel. Unfortunately, on me, this lasts 2-4hrs and sillage is close to skin after the initial 30min burst. This is disappointing because of the price tag and because it could be a lovely signature as it works nicely with my body chemistry. I have the the body lotion and shower gel as well, which seem to boost the scent ever so slightly.

Blind bought this because of raving Youtube reviews. Given the note votes in Fragrantica I was expecting a super loud praline/caramel clubbing fragrance. Nop! When I opened the perfume box, I was so shocked..a litchi-strawberry-INCENSE scent. I tested it on my skin and worn it a few times, I still don’t smell the praline, caramel ext. I only get sweet from the fruits. The flower notes are also not noticeable at all on me. This perfume smells like litchi/incense/tart strawberry and a few other purple notes. I get a feel of mystery, lace, smokey, fruit. It’s elegant, feminine, different and alluring. I’ll will re-purchase.

OMG..this is just delicious, mouthwatering even.. I received a sample of this from the lovely mschnabel666 and promptly had to go out and buy it after spritzing it on. La Nuit Tresor is basically LVEB with strawberries and a burst of litchi. Juicy and sweet, a definite part of the fruitchouli+praline trend yet not generic.
It’s bold and long-lasting, which is a definite plus. Worth every penny. I’d even vote this a safe blind buy if you’re into the LVEB style.

@JacquieDS I own both and La Nuit Tresor DEFINITELY has both better sillage and better longevity. I’d say longevity is AT LEAST 3-5 hours more (I’ve sprayed it on at 8pm only to still smell it on my skin at 10am the next day! while Midnight Rose turns into a pumpkin (disappears) around the 6 hour mark.)
Love both but Midnight Rose is my cozy little Raspberry Macaron scent that I put on when I’m reading a good book and La Nuit Tresor is more LOOK AT ME I LOVE CARAMEL AND PRALINES! But in a sexy grown up way. It’s a sexy night-time cousin for LVEB I would say.
To confuse yourself even more, also try LVEB Intense and Tresor Lumineuse.

Can anyone tell me if this has bigger sillage and longevity than Midnight Rose?
I like them both but only want to get one, and not sure which one.
I have La Vie Est Belle and i absolutely LOve it.
I wear it almost everyday for the last month since I bought it.

SEXIEST. EDP. EVER. Love this fragrance! I bought it blind since it is only at Dillard’s or from the Lancôme website. I cannot stand Lancôme Midnight Rose, but this fragrance is complex, delicious, seductive….what more can I say? Please, please, please Lancôme, do not limit this fragrance to Dillard’s! You cannot find this scent in my state anywhere. Women, and men, deserve to experience everything that La Nuit Tresor brings to the senses!

The body lotion of this is gorgeous!
It holds onto the fresh and fruity notes of lychee and berries, whilst still presenting the sweet caramel and praline/chocolate, it is sinfull and addictive; in an almost narcotic way (as others have said below).
Yet for some reason the EDP just turns sweet on my skin. Its nice but it is not the beautiful, heady, cant stop smelly myself, seductress that I get from the lotion.

I have a love/hate relationship with this perfume.
