La Fille Cool is an interesting oriental floral. It opens with earthy fruits and a prominent musky patchouli. The citrus notes are quiet – just a small flash in the top. The earthiness lifts a bit as the magnolia and orchid enter and the tone becomes softer in character. The orchid does not become a sweet vanilla and the musk does not become soapy.
La Fille Cool is not fruity sweet – I would not group it with the popular sweet fruitchoulis like LVEB. It is an earthy oriental – a modern classic to my nose.

I was very intrigued by that new french brand, so I bought Fille Cool, and I was shocked that there wasnt any patchouli mentioned in the notes…this has such an earthy top notes, typical fruitchouli to my nose…maybe it is the persimmon, I don’t know..I never got any lemon nor orange…
definitely oriental to my nose, I see it more as a winter perfume..it is rather heavy, nothing fresh or remotely summery about it…the drydown gets lighter, with a dominant orchid , followed by a woodsy undertone
The base is more like a powdery soft oriental…..I am not overly loving this, it isn’t really my type..but neither is it boring, or bad quality…I expected fresher, this is womanly, and a tad dense
I will probsbly explore the brand more, and maybe the next one will be more my style..
