Description
Chantal Roos promoted the new collection together with her daughter, Alexandra Roos, who deals with music and has issued four albums of modern chansons. Two worlds and the sensibilities of Chantal and Alexandra unite fragrances and music into extraordinary notes while providing a completely unique style of the Dear Rose collection full of warmth.
La Favorite takes us for an exotic journey by mixing pink pepper and saffron with mysterious animal notes deepened with oud and patchouli.
All fragrances of the collection are available in elegant glass bottles of 100 ml Eau de Parfum. The flacon excelled for its simplicity and thick glass bottom, contributing to a special refraction of light. The stopper is black with discrete golden color details. The outer cartons are white, also sophisticated and elegant. La Favorite was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Fabrice Pellegrin.

You can find this fragrance in profumeria.com
I think it is very similar to Gold Rose Oudh from TIZIANA TERENZI with perhaps more scent of rose.
Not a huge découvert but nice and powdery

It’s my favourite!!! Gorgeous oud, sharp and deep, beautiful leathery saffron, perfect sweet soft patchouli, luscious pink pepper, a beautifully well-blended sensuous perfume. Perfect for me. Elegant and soothing to my soul. Wonderful.

This is a beautiful rosy, woody oud/saffron. The saffron is spiky and slightly leathery and compliments the synth-oud and pink pepper really well. It is quite dry and in niche and Arabic interpretations, could easily have been classed as unisex. It smells like Montale’s Aoud Safran, albeit slightly less sweet. La Favorite possibly has a better composition and ingredients.

Quality ingredients, but the outcome is not original and nothing special, just another flower/oud….
Staying power is also weak, overpriced for what it is!

This is a sparkler and a real expression of ostentatiousness. Very French and tailored for the quinquagenarian age range. La Favorite brings to mind of pearl necklaces, lace ivory tiaras and silk dresses. Though i would never purchase this however, i could probably pull this off. The saffron here is eager as it goes toe-to-toe with a sharp dose of oud. The faintest rosy tinge of pink pepper come and goes like the flame of a trick candle. There’s a certain calm here that relaxes the olfactory and its undeniable. The patchouli is almost undetectable but the boscage of sweetness confirms the existence of the herb. Soon enough this will become a fan favorite simply because this has the ability to crack open your soul.

La Favorite … Orientale. C’est pleine du L’Orient, par l’oud et par le saffron. C’est une combination assez bizzare mais ce n’est pas mal.
Intense, seductive, pleine du chaleur de Sahara a la porte de Fes…
Intensite – 5-6 heures
