Description
Summer, fresher, dashy and cheerful successor of the last year’s edition Elle L’aime of the house of Lolita Lempicka has been introduced in spring 2014 named L L’aime, and arrives as EDT unlike previous, EDP version. Opening of both fragrances provides bitter-citrusy shades, while exotic heart of the original is replaced with a romantic spring bouquet in the new composition.
Composition of the new, airier version LOLITA LEMPICKA L L’AIME opens with currant blossom and dashy citrusy notes providing a bitter-refreshing charm. Its heart is floral and elegant, composed of a blend of jasmine and wild roses bouquet resting on a base of sandalwood, white musk and precious wood.
Flacon of L L’aime has the same shape as previous editions and is available as 40ml EDT and 80ml EDT. Advertising campaign of the new edition features model Sasha Pivarova.

It seems that I need to update my review:
I have been wearing this in the office now for near 2 months, I still like the smell , it is very nice and not boring but regarding the fact that the scent is not a very fresh scent like many fruity, green or aquatic perfumes that I have owned before, it has NO staying power. I finished 80% of the bottle in less than 2 months just because I have to spray lots of it to smell sth and I have not got any complement on this perfume yet. I wish it had more staying power.

I got this in error too! My box said Elle l’Aime but L L’Aime was inside.
It’s on by vanity shelf in the loo so that anyone can have a spray – that’s how much I don’t need it in my life.
There’s nothing wrong with it per se but it just isn’t needed and is far too girly and sparkly for me – rather reminds me of an over-excited child.

I bought it a few days ago at 50% discount. I had absolutely no idea of it and only bought it because of the lower price.
First impression: lovely! beautiful! i liked it a lot.
When you spray it it smells like lots of citrus + alcohol. The bottle design is attractive at the first sight but nothing artistic except the leaf on the lid.
After sometime it smells softer like a feminine, young beautiful but generic skin scent. It is soft, woody, sweet and fruity at the beginning.I also smell sth unpleasant in dry down which I cannot describe. After-all this perfume smells like 100 perfumes out there, Yes, it is not unique. but it smells nice and is a practical perfume. It can be worn everywhere and in every season but because it is weak I recommend it more for the spring and summer. On my skin it has no staying power but on cloths it stays for days but it is so subtle that you need to stick your nose to the cloths to smell something. In fact it is so watered down that makes me have relatively negative feeling regarding the Lolita Lempicka brand specially since it was my first perfume from that company.
So In conclusion I would say if you have the chance to find with a good discount buy it! I definitely worth it. otherwise you can buy much better perfumes with this price.

Firstly – the bottle is really, really charming.
The liquid is buttery, sweetish, lighthearted, feminine, very feminine in fact, with very noticeable (to me anyway) white flowers (so much so that I would put them on the first place in the “main accords” section). I am not a huge fan of white flowers, to be honest, but this is an interesting take on them, somehow young, modern, easy and girly (as in…yes, as in “young white flowers”), and a little princess-y too 🙂 with a tropical twist and I actually really enjoy it. On my skin there is a brief burst of sparkling citruses immediately at the opening (that doesn’t last too long) and it’s so fresh and lively, but unfortunately also a bit more “generic” than some other Lolita’s creations and the longevity is pretty poor too. Still – a pretty lovely concoction.

It smells so lovely-like lemonade with forest fruits and jasmine! It’s perfect for teenage girls and young ladies. Just like dsty, I would buy it if I see it at good price.

I received this by mistake (the seller advertised Elle, not L) and there is a huge difference. L is sharp, citrusy, and smells like fancy hairspray. I’m not sure why this is classified as a floral woodsy musk, as I get floral citrus. Disappointing on many levels…

I have a sample of this, and have used it for a couple of days.
This is a lovely sweet smell, but as others have said, there’s not much more to say about it than that. It smells pleasantly of fruit at first (more sweet berries than citrus to my nose), then it smells pleasantly of flowers, and finally it smells pleasantly of musky woody flowers. Light, summery, very nice in all of its phases. So I do like it, even though it’s not very interesting.
Conclusion: I’ll buy a bottle if I ever see a cheap one. If not, I can live without it.

Without the prominent coconut note, L L’aime EDT smells to me quite different from Elle L’aime EDP. After the initial burst of tart lime, a strong jasmine peaks through. And L L’aime stays essentially as an exuberant citrus-jasmine scent for about 4 to 5 hours. This citrus-white floral combo actually is not dissimilar to Alien Eau Extraordinaire without the characteristic amber of Alien series. In the late drydown after about 5 hours, the scent appears less bright with a salty undertone, which makes me think of sea water washed skin.
The sillage is moderate to soft and the longevity is around 10 hours. L L’aime EDT is certainly a lovely citrus floral fragrance on its own, but a bit too standard compared to the flirty coconut-infused Elle L’aime EDP and other fragrances in the Lolita Lempicka olfactive portfolio.

A light L l’aime, nice but poor lasting power. Nothing new.

Oh, yeah Nikki, you’re right!!! I also instantly fell in love with Elle L’aime, now a summer version, definitely must try. Yeah, TRY… NOT BUY 🙁
