Description

The first fragrance of the pop star Gwen Stefani is ‘bright, fresh and clean’, as she described it herself. ‘Luminous green freshness’ composed of mild green (violet leaf) and floral (water hyacinth, white freesia) notes opens the composition. It continues with water hyacinth and floral choir of jasmine, rose, lily of the valley and orange blossom. The base is composed of frangipani flower, peach, heliotrope and white musk and it fulfills the third condition – smells clean. The fragrance was created in 2007 by noses of Firmenich.y

If you want floral and clean, this is your scent. In fact, this is pretty much a floral bouquet

This scent is so nostalgic for me! It was given to me in 2008 and immediately I did not like it. Something kept persuading me to sample it, and I’m glad I did!
Aquatic-floral is the perfect description of this. This reminds me of stepping out of the shower, skin still wet, and just barely being able to smell your body wash on your wet skin. Exactly! A dewy, light floral skin scent. Not sweet as in candy or fruit- think Sweet Pea by Bath & Body Works. The pear is more watery than juicy.
This is no sillage-monster, she’s quiet and self-assured. Like the cool girl that never had to try. This is an unusual fragrance for sure, but that’s what I like about it. I’m not a fan WHATSOEVER of aquatic scents, so combining that with florals sounds like a nightmare to me. However, L’s vibe is unique and somewhat addictive. Before you write it off as “bug spray”, try and figure her out.

This is in your face white floral. Extremely heady and over the top. It all comes together to make some super hybrid orange blossom – jasmine mega bomb.

This is my signature, and I love that I’m fairly alone in that. It was my first real fragrance purchase in 2008 because I loved Gwen Stefani and that rasta colored bottle. It really spoke to me. I’m not the greatest at identifying notes but I get the pear blast right off the bat, which is very sharp and I’m assuming where all the “cleaning product” descriptions come from, that sharpness. That does not last though and it quickly settles down into a floral with a fruit undertone, which I’m assuming is the lily of the valley and freesia layered on pear/peach. It doesn’t smell like cleaning product at all to me, but it does have a certain punch to it. It smells so calm and warm on me. Reads very “clean” but not soapy clean. I remember my rollerball in 2008 getting way more longevity and lasting at least 3-4 hours and projecting pretty well. Now though as with the other recent review, it DOESN’T LAST. It’s basically all gone from my skin in an hour. Again, that’s probably just how it’s going to be from now on with a decade old discontinued perfume but that’s not how it was in it’s prime, and that’s sad. I also purchased an old fat bottle of Maybe Baby to compare. They are extremely extremely similar! If you took the sharp ginger punch away from Maybe Baby they’d probably be indistinguishable. I can tell them apart though, and much prefer the mellow dry down of L. It shocks me so many people love Maybe Baby but dislike L, when L is so much fresher.

This fragrance smells like St Ives’ Apricot Scrub!

Opens with a powerful Frangipani/Plumeria. The initial blast of tropical flowers is something i don’t particularly like about it.. I don’t like it but learn to appreciate it. I lived in Hawaii and the nostalgia for crushed Plumeria and morning dew is real.. I also live for the drydown. After 10 minutes it settles into a watery but still frangipani with juicy peaches. I feel fresh, clean with spritz of sunshine. Great for a pick-me up on a Gloomy note or perfect for summer..

Love Love Love this perfume. I was stopped few times by passerby asking about the smell. In my country, it is very hard to get this perfume and a little expensive.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – violet + pear
Drydown – sweet pea + freesia + lily of the valley + peach + rose + musk
    Duration – 6-8 hours
Projection – 1st three hours moderate, soft afterwards
Experiences – Opening violet/pear only lasts a few minutes then scent seems to disappear. A few minutes later a gorgeous blend of florals appears. First 3-4 hours is utterly glorious. Eventually softens to a peachy/musk skin-scent. 1-2 spritzes sufficent; becomes overbearing if heavy-handed with application.
Quick Thoughts – feminine, fruity, sweet, floral

Okay, so my bottle came in today. First, it smells exactly like I remember in the top notes. Floral, not too fruity, a little aquatic…sort of an aloof scent. While it does not smell like Pleasures, it has that type of vibe going on, which I personally like.
It is certainly a unique scent, and definitely not something you smell on a lot of people going passed. Middle notes are not very well defined for me, basically a floral/pear/aquatic bouquet. Again, I like it.
The drydown, which I remember as being sweet, turned into straight LOTV on me. Of course, my scent memory may be false, as I have smelled hundreds of perfumes since I originally owned L. In all honesty, not too crazy about the drydown.
The bad part of L is that I get no projection, sillage or longevity. I sprayed 3 huge sprays on myself (both wrists and neck) going to pick up my kids from school. 20 minutes later, I asked my 15-year-old daughter what she thought of my perfume and she had no clue I was wearing any! With her nose jammed against my wrist, she said it smelled nice and clean…which it does…but is my memory faulty that I remember this as being a HUGE scent? Granted, I paid about $20 (including s&h) for a 50 ml, so reapplying isn’t a big deal, and I love the top and middle notes, anyway. But still, either my memory is faulty or my skin has become even worse at eating scents.
Long and short of it; yes, it is recommended, smells beautifully silvery and almost metallic in a great way, but performance is not the best.

SWEET PEA! Thats the main note I smell. This perfume is more floral than fruity and it is a little too sweet for me. Sweet pea just takes over the whole fragrance for me and it’s one of those scents that smell great for about an hour and then you get sick of the sweet floral smell. I like sweet perfumes and I love fressia because it’s less sweet and more clean smelling, I’m unfortunately this one is too floral. I will say I get the aquatic in this scent which is what makes it unique and is probably why I initially bought it. Defenintly a summer time perfume and has great silage. It will last morning until night even when you take a shower. I always find perfumes with pear and peach as the main fruits can be to sweet in a sickening way to me. Pretty much bath and body works sweet pea scent. If you like very sweet bright Florals then you should give this one a try.

I feel like it’s a cold scent, very floral. A good scent for every day wear! You should probably smell it before buying it though because I feel like it’s something else. It’s not a typical floral one.
It was a blind buy for me, I bought it like a year ago. I like it, nothing else. I’m not going to repurchase it but I’ll wear it until it’s gone.

I owned this several years ago, probably around 08 or so, and as much as it pains me to admit it, I loved it. I remember it being more floral fruity, with the lilac and freesia being predominate on my skin and the fruits being a smaller player. I seem to remember that I wasn’t impressed with the drydown, as it seemed non-descript sweet. I just ordered a bottle, as I have somehow lost that stonking great cube during one of my many moves, and will update once it arrives. I’m sure it’s worth the pittance it’s being sold for now just to have for those days when you don’t know what to wear. L does not smell like a typical celebrity fragrance.
Also, I love the Art Deco inspired bottle. I think it’s perfect in in gaudiness! Great addition to my bottle collection. Very unique.

My mother gave me a bottle of this for Christmas my freshman year of high school. I was 14 years old. I loved it then and I love it now, ten years later! I’ve had the same bottle for ten years, and it has not turned – it smells the same as I did the day I got it. Its a nicely balanced fruity floral. Its not too fruity not too floral, but definitely leans more fruity. Its juicy, fresh, and almost aquatic in a way.

This week My perfume rotation is based on perfumes in my wardrobe that have pear notes and I have 13 perfumes with pear notes to wear. I was going to buy a bottle of Annick Goutal’s Petit Cherie when I saw it was running low however, I have this scent and they are quite similar so no need to anymore. This one is actually stronger and projects better. Lovely pear notes and rose notes. Please don’t overspray or you could get headaches.

Another blind buy for me, after reading the reviews here and getting confirmation that this has been discontinued. I really like this fragrance and it was quite a surprise, considering the fact that this is a “celebrity fragrance”. This is definitely different, it’s light and fresh, clearly a skin fragrance on me but it’s OK. I’m wearing it for the first time today and I think it’s OK for fall too, not only spring and summer. I might even buy another bottle, for the wardrobe, because I think I’ll finish this one. Really happy with this buy!

It is very similar to Maybe Baby by Benefit, only this one has a somewhat sour edge to it. This one will be less of a crowd pleaser than Maybe Baby. I really don’t know how to describe this scent. It is not sweet. It is somewhat acquatic but not in a marine way. More because it is not a floral or an oriental or a fruity.. so it is closer to aquatic than other groups. It is absolutely unique and sharp. That’s mainly why it’s not a safe blind buy. You either love it or you hate it.
UPDATE: I’ve tried to put my finger on what this smells like.. and I think I can say with confidence that this scent reminds me of a freshly picked garden tomato! It’s not sweet, fresh and kind of sharp like a tomato!
NEW UPDATE:The dry down smells like you’ve just cooked spaghetti sauce and the smell is caught in your clothes though. I find that Shower Fresh by Clean is almost identical but has a much better dry down!

Wow!!! I give very few perfumes a dislike. But this one does not smell good! Very HEADY floral fragrance!
This shares only 2 notes in common with Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia…Lily-Of-The-Valley and Musk but honestly…they smell 98% identical. I have both on right now and I can barely tell the difference between them.
On the plus side…if you DO like this fragrance…it lasts a good 7 hours and projects like a beast. About 5 feet projection for hours and hours. And…that bottle is GORGEOUSSS!!! So I guess for the floral lovers out there…this is a steal for the cheap price. But it is not for me as it is WAY too floral and in your face.
DO NOT BLIND BUY THIS LIKE I DID!! (Unless you’re gonna display the bottle anyway like me lol.)
    Overall Score – 4/10
It does smell very spring-like so when I feel in the mood…I may use one spray or something to liven up a room and make it smell like flowers. I just cannot wear this on my skin.

Love this perfume.. I’ve had a bottle for years and barely use it because I don’t think it’s being made anymore. Zesty fruit is the best I can describe. I love this and harajuku lovers love and both discontinued. Can’t find love anywhere online.

This smells really fresh and fruity. It’s truly energetic and pleasant but there was something about it that reminded me of cologne and was a bit off-putting for my preferences.
I realized that it was the aquatic vibe it has. It makes the perfume more unisex even though it is quite sweet. I don’t seem to gravitate towards aquatic scents, they turn more masculine on me.
It’s perfect for the summer and versatile for day or night.

June 2016. I’ve had my bottle since its launch. Perfume is sweet/ fruity and floral to my nose. Only wear it in the summer months. It’s heavy, bold. The summer heat works well to tame it and not have it melt away. This fragrance is tooooo much for me in the cold weather months.
COMBO: Lamb + Jo Malone’s Vintage Gardenia. The two compliment each other well. VG all over body, Lamb spritzed only 1-2x at neck and chest. Style: Dressy/casual.

I remember smelling this when it first came out and being obsessed with it. I thought it was the best smell in the world. I bought it last year, thinking I’d still feel the same way about it, but now when I wear it as a 27 year old adult it just doesn’t strike me like it did as a teenager. It’s not bad, but it totally reminds my of the perfume my best friend’s mother has worn for the last 30 years, Sand & Sable. It’s a little fruitier and lighter than S&S, but it’s pretty close. The bottle is cute, but I don’t reach for it often.

This opens very sweet, and extremely fruity. Thankfully after a few minutes it calms down, to become a dry floral musk, layered with pears and peaches. While it isn’t an outstanding perfume, there is something moreish about the whole experience, the feel of the bottle, the freshness of the scent, it gives me a light, girlish joy.

I’ve loved Gwen, my O.C. girl, since the 90s when No Doubt first became popular. I love their Madness, Specials, and English Beat inspired music that has evolved to Gwen’s life experience music. She’s just a very rad and down to earth girl.
I’ve smelled some of her Harajuku scents that have the most adorable bottles, very girly, like her, sweet, and fruity. So, I bought this fragrance, thinking it would be more mature, yet still playful. I really hesitate to say anything negative but this fragrance is way too heady with all the florals in it. I agree, it does have a very Jessica Mc Clintock vibe to it that can only be taken in minimal dosage.
Love the bottle design with a heavy gold cap and the turquoise top on the spray with an old English “L”.

This scent has very good sillage and longevity. However, I am not at all liking the scent. On clothes, musky floral with minimal hint of fruit. On my skin, there is the crispness of the pear and the juiciness of the peach, but in combination with the floral notes, it gives off this sourness about it — in effect, the initial blast (to emphasize the strength) is too strong, insect repellant-ish, musky, heady. This is no way near my idea of aquatic. I find the best way to wear it is by spraying it in the air and wafting my arm through it (or walking through it).
I like how this dries down into a sweeter, less sour version of the opening and the heart – the fruity floral combo turns into something pleasant with a touch of sophistication.
Unfortunately, I still find no reason for me to keep this in my collection. So for anyone interested for swapping this, hit me a message.

I remember buying this year’s ago for my mom and how amazing it was. Most celebrity fragrances are something to be avoided, but Gwen Stefani really knocked it out of the park with this one. It’s a very fresh smelling, floral fragrance. You get the fresh pear in the opening and the honeysuckle. You also get notes of rose and I also smell Lilly of the valley. It is a little strong when you spray it on for the first hour or so, but it mellows out a bit and has amazing longevity. The bottle is also really cool along with the packaging. The commercial really sums up the feeling of this fragrance. Overall, its a nice fragrance and an underrated one if you ask me.

I was honestly kind of hesitant to buy this fragrance cause so many of the reviews are negative (Found this at Marshals/Winner for $19,99b 50 ML) and i’m very VERY glad that it did’t stop be from purchasing it, I was shocked when i sprayed it on my wrist…. i absolutely love this fragrance! it’s a light floral scent with a touch of sweet sensual pear in the background. This fragrance kind of reminds me of a mix of a toned down version of J’adore by Dior and Tresor By Lancome if they of had a baby togethe haha. Now i’m dying to get the Shower Gel and Body Lotion i feel like that would make the scent stronger and last longer especially during the winter.

controversial reviews on fragrantica + curiosity + great offer = an impulsive blind purchase. and I am not disappointed, not at all!
This one bursts open with mild pear and crisp freesia. very pleasant, fresh but not juvenile. wonderful really. but the truly good stuff starts happening during the drydown. from somewhere this rather sophisticated, slightly powdery jasmine emerges, which on my skin is deceptively similar to my great love – Alien, only dustier and with a slight burnt bitter edge to it. classy, makes a statement, but is not suffocating. not the most powerful projection, the longevity is still being tested. perfumes tend to sit close to my skin and mostly evaporate quite quickly, so I am quite impressed with the longevity of this one so far, and don’t hold the lack of projection against it. all in all I am impressed and glad to have found this little gem.

It’s interesting that this was released in 2007 and has already been discontinued and Gwen’s star has been eclipsed by the next generation of pop dollies. This one is on sale very cheaply and I purchased it because I really think it is going to become collector’s item in years to come. The bottle and the fragrance are just unusual enough to make it sought after once excess stock dries up.
There seems to be a lot of hate for the bottle design but I think it’s great. The oversized cap is quite architectural, but still functional. I like how the bottle is kind of hidden by the cap. It’s very masculine and probably not what people were expecting from Gwen who was going through a particularly girlie image stage in her career at the time. The scent itself is also unusual. To me it’s like a whirlpool of sweet flowers, spring water and a dash of petrol – there is some distinctively oily about this one. The big surprise is that it gets stronger as they day goes by. One spray is all you need which is another reason I think it wasn’t too popular. The trend is for light clean scents and one spray too many turns this one into a silage beast.
This is a great little find with niche quality and bottle design. Although people bash Coty quite a bit for churning out predictable celebrity fragrances, every now and then they throw a curveball into the mix – such as Madonna’s Truth or Dare or Sarah Jessica Parker’s Covet – only to see it sink quickly due to declining sales, which probably says more about the general perfume buying public than the it does the Coty perfume machine.

Wow! Got this for a steal on ebay. 100 ml. When I sprayed the first time, it reminds me of a perfume from the 90’s. I cannot remember the name!! It is a burst of floral in your face for sure!! LOVE IT. If you don’t like floral scents this one is not for you. If you like floral scents, absolutely get this one!

  32. :

Lily of the valley, freesias, jasmine.
This was a blind buy because all these reviews don’t tell me anything, so mixed and hard to pin point; i think this a scent that varies greatly on different people. I, however, am so glad I got this! I was confident enough in my love for 90s Gwen that I would love this and boy was I right. Super floral on me, I get the peachy pears but it’s not too strong, smells a bit tropical? No musk but it might settle down… and that frangipani heaven <3 reminds me of childhood in the tropics. Not something I’d wear everyday and one spray is more than enough – it’s quite sickly and synthetic at first – but it does does does settle down into a white florals perfect for spring 🙂 Pretty moderate radiance and longevity so A++ Gwen very happy with this cheap celeb scent – as most celeb scents turn me right off with their sickly sweet 12 year old strawberry scents.

rious fragrance related websites have unflattering things to say about its scent but L is a lovely perfume. It is not an ordinary celebrity fragrance but it’s not wholly atypical either. I don’t quite have the nose yet to distinguish indiviual notes and how they compliment each other but L registers as ‘crisp’ and ‘clean’. Think fresh linens with a floral scent (not in a glorified laundry detergent way). It really would be an ideal fragrance for spring.
    (X-posted to Amazon 9/10)
Fragrantica addened 9/17: reading the information provided here with Gwen’s descriptors, I have to say she absolutely nailed what she set out to create.
There’s a lot of hate for the bottle design here but that for me was one of its biggest selling points. It’s an incredibly distinctive shape and look and with its weight cheap isn’t a descriptor I’d attach to it. I also love the box it came in. I know there’s a larger keepsake box that I now really want to get my hands on.

I have to Say this must be one of the more stupid buys I have made. I laughed so hard, reading all the bad reviews of this that I actually blind bought it out of curiosity. It makes my noes itch. I remember smelling it years ago in a tax-free shop and being very disappointed since I had been looking for it for quite some time and really like Gwen Stefani. How ever, tax-free shops really aren’t the best places to trey scents since there are so many People spraying all over the place. And this was quite a few years ago so I desided to give it another try.
Well… Floral? I Don’t really smell it. It is very fruity and quite sweet. And something does make my noes… sort of itch. It isn’t as bad as some of the reviews but no, not ny cup of tea. Which should have been obvious since I’m not that much for fruity scents. There is definately a LOT if pear, especially in the dry down, so I actually think those who like fruity scents might enjoy it. Now I’m gonna go and try to wash it of..
Edit: I can’t get it off! My noes us itching like crazy.Well, 10/10 for longevity but this so isn’t for me.

I like the different twist of lotv in this perfume. After so many celeb scents like Liz Taylor’s Gardenia and Jlo Glow i wanted to give up on owning anymore lotv celeb scents. It’s different. This perfume is clean like fruity shampoo. It smells like Garnier or Herbal Essences.
The first 4 hours are strong and fruity. I smell sour green apple, white grapes and blood orange. I can’t find any floral. It makes me think of what imagined DKNY Be Delicious would smell like when it first came out because of the green apple bottle shape.
After 4 hours it dries down to a bright ripe pear and freshly squeezed lemen scent. Where are the other flowers?
I believe the lotv makes these lifesaver fruitiness clean and fresh. I saw these interesting floral notes and had to try it. I like it. Not gonna get regular use out of it. Something to reach for out of the ordinary for me. The sillage is crazy so nothing to go trigger happy with.
Although it smells like fruity shampoo, when sprayed in my hair or back of neck,i get no wafts of it like other high sillage perfumes. On skin is another story. Lasts over 8 hours.

I just feel the need to bring more positivity to this fragrance. It does not deserve all of the hate it has gotten in the past. I’m rediscovering this fragrance, and it smells so pretty and fresh to me. Rose is always singled out as the dominant note in this, but I think lily of the valley shines the best on me. This smells like a really pretty, sweet floral-musk soap, and that’s what draws me to it. It’s clean, but there’s also a (what i find to be) sexy musky-floral scent to it. I’m loving it now!

  37. :

I really enjoy this! Off first whiff, I was impressed in that it immediately stood out from the typical fruity/sweet celeb scent. Something a little quirkier and more hip, which I’d expect from GS. The fruit notes are deliciously edible, super sweet, but not sickeningly so. I’m getting a See by Chloe vibe from this! It must be the pear note, but it’s giving me sweet apple. Pleasantly surprised by this one, it’s youthful, quirky, and fun. And say what you want about the heavy clunky bottle, but I think it’s dope and looks awesome on my perfume shelf.
As far as sillage and longevity go, I’m further impressed. A co-worker could smell it on me and raved about it just by passing through my work space. I could see how this one might be overbearing with a heavy hand, a few pulse-point spritzes and you’re good for the day. Very nicely done!

If you don’t want to smell like every 2nd gal in summer, try this on for size. “L” (which stands for LAMB) is a very unique, lasting fragrance at a good price tag. It is not everyone’s taste, I’m sure. I too still have the odd domestic with that bottle of Lamb. I got Mom a bottle as she enjoyed the fragrance on me and although I think it’s too young for a 60+ year old it smells beautiful on her too.

I love love love this perfume! I’m surprised so many people dislike it. I always get compliments on it. I think it must wear differently on certain people. Very strong rose and pear notes. It’s green, fresh, floral, a little aquatic. I will probably buy another bottle but am looking for a good dupe since it’s discontinued

I love this fragrance. I’m always surprised by how many dislikes this perfume has gotten. I always get compliments when I wear it; it’s a unique punch of fresh, clean beauty. I cannot describe the smell at all…I don’t get floral, I almost get a citrus-sweet type of scent. It’s hard to describe but I guess you either love it or hate it. I plan to get another bottle of this, although I haven’t seen it my local Ross/Marshalls lately.
I almost want to say that it reminds me of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume.

After seeing it compared to Maybe Baby so many times i bought it blind.
When I sprayed it on I felt like there is an international prank going on as these two have nothing in common. While Maybe Baby smells like spring breeze, Lamb pretty much smells like I would imagine hell does. Petroleum, sweat and stickiness.

I can smell lily of the valley with a hint of musk..(imo tho cuz I’m not the best at describing scents) This is a scent you could wear all yr round imo and it lasts all day and night.

I love this. I get a strong pear note at first, even though its not listed as a note. There’s a soft hint of peach, then a beautiful lily of the valley with hyacinth and orange blossom, and it dries down to a clean musk. It doesn’t ever get too sweet, a fresh ‘greeness’ stays to the end. It does remind me of Annick Goutal’s Petite Cherie, and even more of Lolita Lempicka ‘s L’eau Jolie, but the price is a LOT less! It has very good longevity and sillage, and the bottle is pretty too.

I like it. My first bottle I bought from eBay. Big big mistake. It has obviously turned and smelt like motor oil drenched flowers! I was mortified! Found a 1.7 today at Ross for 12.99! I love it. It’s a love or hate and not for everyone fragrance. I love you Gwen Stefani!

Something in this makes me physically sick. I am not familiar with notes as of yet so I have no idea why I get sick feeling every time I wear this. I wanted to love it because it’s unusual from most things I have smelled. It just ends up being stinky on me and making me sick. I don’t find it to smell like anything else I have smelled.

Somehow I feel some sort of pride in liking fragrances with a large amount of dislikes haha!
This fragrance reminds me of the 90’s, it just has that feel. like something that would have been made alongside all the Tommy Girls, Escapes and so on.
Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t smell like those frags, it just seems to have to same soul. I ‘m sure if she came out with this in the 90’s right after her “spiderwebs/don’t speak” hits, this would have been the perfume EVERYONE had to own haha.
So that’s the feel of it, for the actual smell, let’s see:
I get the Pear/Peach mix and it makes for a crispy Fruity in this fruity/floral
There is a large amount of the white musk on me, although that doesn’t seem to be a common reaction as it’s not high on the voters pyramid.
The Florals are like the Fruit, sharp and slightly cold. Not sure which flowers I’m smelling, I am either not familiar or they are nondescript
Overall, I am a child of the 80’s and 90’s so I love this fragrance!

I didn’t think it smelled good at all, it is like her clothes, not put together sometimes, weird, off..maybe too many notes that end up clashing..the result just isn’t great to my nose..! Like lots of flowers , synthetic plasticky scent.
It isn’t for guys though! Dont get confused!!

A previous boyfriend bought this for me and I thought it smelled like something an older lady would wear, wasn’t a fan at all.

I wanted to love this fragrance for the fact that Gwen’s other perfumes are usually very subtle and cordial, however this fragrance is too overtly floral. From the first spray all I smell is a dominate white floral burst and once it’s had time to dry down the scent starts to become very synthetic smelling. Other reviews are right when they proclaim that it smells like hairspray… Overall L is an extremely heavy fragrance for those consumers who love a floral perfume this scent is for you.

This is a pleasant floral fruity aquatic scent…if you’re looking for something light, clean, and shampoo-like, you’ve found it.
This smells A LOT like Benefit Maybe Baby to me, especially the initial sprays. The peach, orange blossom, and LOTV are very apparent in the beginning…and the peach sustains throughout. By the time I reach the base notes I’m smelling peach, some musk, and something that smells faintly of fried food. I don’t know what that is or what my chemistry is reacting to. It’s not gross, but not smooth or wonderful with that note in there. I get zero heliotrope or frangipani in this at all, so if that’s what you’re going for, you might be disappointed.
I also don’t get the hairspray accord that has been mentioned, but hey, I get faint fried food, so you know, there’s the tradeoff.
I think I may end up swapping this one, it’s just too much like Maybe Baby, which I own in a giant bottle.

Love this summer fragrance. Wish she would release some new fragrances under her name!

All-time favorite perfume. Not too much else to say. Simply amazing if you love aquatic, fruity, woodsy, and white/green floral scents! It’s such a unique perfume and I always got compliments on it. And the longetivity is great too. It’s not too girly but it’s not too musky. It’s sophistacted but still fresh and fun, just like Gwen. It was a perfect first fragrance for her. I hate that I have to buy it on ebay and the thought that there may be none of it left on Earth some day!

Bought this blind as I saw it compared to Benefit’s “Maybe Baby”, one of my absolute favourites (and near impossible to get in Canada). I am always on the lookout for peach fragrances (also super hard to find)so I thought I’d give it a try.
It is similar to “Maybe Baby”, and to J.Lo “Glow”…probably a mix of both, also a little Jessica McClintock. It smells fresh and clean, like a sweet innocent girl.
I do not get peach at all (boo!), more of the lily of the valley and plumeria type scent. Would be perfect for the office if
