    A Masterpiece
One of the best unisex or genderless fragrances I have ever smelled.
I get quince in the opening , which smells like a hybrid fruit between a orange and lemon and is interesting. I get resin, sandwood, and blond wood. It is one of those fragrances that is full and complex, but so harmonious it is hard to pick out notes.
Overall you get a interesting citrus fragrance that is not too bright with some beautiful wood smell.
I was blown away by this one and highly recommend it.
A summer night and early fall champion here.
I get 5 to 6 hours and fair projection, but good sillage

So I was curious about this fragrance when I first found this site because it was in the “this reminds me of” Section for Armani’s vetiver Babylon which I dig and since I used Fragrantica as Gosepl back then because I didn’t know any better and was a lost puppy I blind bought this absolute dreadful fragrance. I even gave it away to my best friend because I thought I was being a nice mate by giving him a $160 fragrance. Massive mistake because he wears it from time to time and a little piece of me dies each time I have to smell it. Tom Ford Grey vetiver or Terre d Hermes are far better than this awful excuse for a fragrance. An overly sharp, piercing citrus with woods and some crappy florals, sounds orite but trust Mancera to make it awful. I hate you Mancera. Your almost like a more expenive DUA but probably worse. Forgot to mention, can you shockingly tell that this also didn’t resemble or remind me of the Armani either! What a shocker, I know.

Smells citrus at start. Longevity-3 hrs, projects fr 1 hour.. Can be worn mornings but definitely not in summers. Spices are noticeable.. I would skip this…. Sample before buying full bottle!!

i think there is bentley infinite intense vibe more than TdH. bentley would be a better and cheaper choice

Safe scent, first hour like TdH or Red Vetyver and after like Wood and Spices (for example). So after 6 hours it’s not too fresh, just deep, warm and safe scent rather for men (I think).

Not bad, but not exactly great for me. The aroma is something like a very dry citrus aromatic. Semi-sour, a bit heated, with an abrasive wood-surface texture to it. The aroma comes together something like the oversoul of a dry, warm vermouth.
Akin to these attributes, I think this one would work best in a formal setting; especially when-and-where one is looking to establish a monotone presence about themselves (one that suggests seriousness, distance, strictly business, and nothing close or personal).

I think this could easily be mistaken for a Penhaligon’s since it’s got an old colonia smell.
I like the citrusy part, though.
I tried this in wintertime and it doesn’t project at all, but it’s probably not meant for cold weather.
Lasting power is okay-but that’s all there is to it, in my opinion.
There are much better citrus based fragrances for sure.

I tried Kumkat Wood when it was first released back in 2013 and recall being a bit disappointing since it marked the first time I was less-than-thrilled with the quality of a Mancera fragrance. It was early into my fragrance journey and, even though I owned several Mancera fragrances and sampled several others at the time, I was heavy into Oud and Vetiver fragrances and dismissed many fragrances way too soon.
Although this fragrance had some of my favorite notes (cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, amber and spices) along with a cheesy porn-flick label (i.e., Kumkat Wood) so I was fully expecting to be sporting good wood while wearing this one. Unfortunately, this fragrance was basically a linear light-cedar scent that stayed pretty close to my skin and then went limp. Okay, it was a pleasant scent but nothing to write home about. Overall, I though this was a mediocre effort by Mancera.
Fast-forward a few yaers and I have recently added Kumkat to my infamous Scent Armory (14th Mancera bottle) after having found two Kumkat Wood samples in my one of my many shoeboxes filled with scented sample delights. Imagine my shock and awe when I smelled it and immediately sported a Kumkat Woody! Moreover, imagine my surprise with how much this fragrance reminded me of Ormande Jayne Man. No, it’s not identical but it is, in fact, a very fine gentleman’s scent on its own.
Kumkat Wood is the much better value coming in a half-price at full retail, but it can be found on the discount market for significantly less. But Ormande Jayne Man has the step-up in quality; Ormonde Jayne Man is just a smoother, more polished gentleman’s scent whereas Kumkat Woods is a less formal and down to earth. I recently layered Mandera Lemon Line with Kumkat Wood and the bright citrus and pleasant woods made for one very fine scent indeed.
Performance is okay in that it lasts 6-8 hours and projects moderately on my skin, which is actually very good for this kind of professional office fragrance. Overall, there are better fragrances in this genre, but this is worth evaluating if you can find it priced right.

Really liking this one right now. To me it’s the perfect citrus and spice fragrance for men. Easy to wear and I don’t know how it could offend. One side note, and I hope I don’t get blasted, the dry down reminds me of Jubilation xxv on it’s dry down. Does anyone agree?
    9.5/10

A simple classy scent. An extremely shortlasting blast of Bergamot, sour grapefruit alongwith dried Sandal and peppery Cedar. Very dry scent. A complete clone of Ormande Jayne Man with massive projection and longevity. Ubelievable value for money. I regret buying my OJ Man now. Lol.

Another manner winner for me but for the life of me can’t get my head around the fact that this fragrance has none of the orange fruits eg clementine tangerine or kumquat because along side the woodsy notes I get a lot of theses fruity scents coming through but yet again they deliver on quality and uniquess which is great as I’m not one for wanting to smell like every one else so 9/10 for me x

“What a wonderful world,” in my Louis Armstrong voice…O’ yeahhhhhhh!! This is what I think about as I sniff my hand filled with the smell of Kumkat Wood.
There is this citrusy/woody(cedar)/peppery blend, maybe some floral in the mix going on that’s amazing! Kumkat Wood is sweet and woody all at the same time with some vetiver, with the added white musk treatment not over the top. Gives off a slight powdery feel under the floral woody tones….its as if some flowers were layered over a half cut piece of cedar-a more toned done Timbuktu; there is some faint pepper blended with its sweetness, amazing!!!!!!
What two other fragrances does this remind me of? Creed’s Millesime Imperial, but a more softer EROLFA also by Creed. Kumkat Wood has a bit more pepper and wood, where as EROLFA has more zest/lemon and marine notes. As with Millesime Imperial, there are the similar citrus, fruity, marine notes that resemble Kumkat Wood in a major way…very nice!
    A great unisex fragrance!
Kumkat Wood, another great Mancera grab!!!
    Projection: 7/10
    Longevity: 7.5/10
    Sillage: 7/10
Overall: 7/10….a great fragrance that sets one up for receiving compliments!!!
(And compliments it does get….every time I wear this my program director comes into my office and asks if I would write down the name of this). It never fails… probably the fourth or fifth time I have written down the name for him!!

Mancera Kumkat Wood develops after 15 mins into a perfect citrus-cedar-vetiver combo that lasts all day, never shouts but is still present. The combo is surrounded and made complex by the added patchouli, spices, soft flowery notes and amber. It lasts all day, is inoffensive, perfect for the office and smells imo expensive. It is a safe but interesting and sophisticated fragrance nonetheless. Thumbs way up! Rating: 9/10

Cedar and citrus isn’t anything new or ground breaking, but mancera sure knows what the people want when it comes to longevity! Wow. This stuff smells amazing and it lasts and lasts and lastsssssssd

Citrus and cedar . What an amazing masculine summer fragrance. Totally not your usual citrus summer frag with faint notes and gentle bases . Vetiver cedar and the grapefruit together blends to a beautiful combination. This a young energetic macho version of Terre de Hermes.
    This fragrance has balls.
    Wear it with confidence.
Beast mode and girls love it ! 🙂

    + top notes: Kumquat!!!

Citrus and cedar on a huge musky pillow of patchouli, flowers and amber, with a hint of vetiver to add smokiness.
This is not a typical Arabic scent, for those thinking that Mancera only do agarwood-themed fragrances. It has a Western levity to it (probably because of the citrus), yet the base still brings warmth and oriental charm to the composition. Despite the name, it’s not hugely woody. If this fragrance were a colour, it would be a cream colour and if it were a time of day, it would be morning tea!

Mancera is becoming one of the best perfumer house. Each creation has its own distinct personality. Kumkat Wood is indefinably for all seasons. Citrusy and spicy, a winning combination.

On the day I went to the shop with the sole purpose of trying the new Tom Ford offering and found them universally uninspiring, I found this and it is a little gem. Early days but this may become my daily wearer for summer.
