Just to let everyone know that this fragrance has been discontinued.
So grab it while you can.
I found some great deals on ebay.

I can see how this is compared to Chloe – it is a bright classy floral and it has that airy feeling too. However, I LOVE Chloe but I can’t stand this on my skin. Don’t get me wrong: I like it all right, but some note is bugging me, my guess it is the lavender. So: do try if you like Chloe, but do not blind buy based on the comparison…
Other than my personal taste, I do think this is a sophisticated perfume, the flowers and citrus are blended really well into an uplifting scent. It is soft, but also ‘there’. I guess this is one of those perfumes for which it makes a big difference whether it works well with your skin or if it is nauseating…

Knot Eau Florale is a very classy and hot weather appropriate fragrance. Truly without age restrictions-not that there should be any ever in my opinion-,an ordinary scent that doesn’t lack quality. A bit shampooish, although I don’t detect any cheap smell. Linear and decidedly a citrus-floral.
Doesn’t have the character of the original, lasted at around six hours, close to the skin of course. A citrus lemon opening, with the smell of hot ironing, neroli, peony and rose are quite prominent with a well rounded spicyness. Balmy as well.

I seriously don’t know how people can relate this fragrance to Chloé. I do not like this perfume and I like Chloé. I have a sample spray of Knot Florale, and can’t stand it when I smell it.

Just received Bottega Veneta Knot and Knot Eau Florale today. Had sampled Knot previously and love it. Eau Florale was a blind buy based on reviews. It’s not similar to the original, which I prefer due to its sophistication, but Knot Eau Florale is still very nice.
I agree with the reviews that state there’s a smell of luxury soap, but it’s definitely not the soapy smell associated with cheaper perfumes, and it isn’t overwhelming. I was concerned about the rose, because my husband associates that with an “old lady” perfume, but on me the rose blends with the peony and is very subtle.
The Knot original is wedding day (sophisticated, elegant, intimate, distinct, confident, the perfect scent for the occasion) but Eau Florale is mid-afternoon white zin with the bridesmaids the day before the wedding (girly, fresh, clean, flowery, but any number of scents will do).

Knot florale has been inspired by the crisp air of the Italien coast line as well as freshly washed, air dried linen !
This fragrances is a breath of fresh breezy mountain air and morning dew, it’s
extremely elegant and clean , a crowed pleaser and compliment getter!
Knot Florale smells great on most people. I didn’t like it when I tested it on a card but once I wore it I was converted. It’s just great. Clean and elegant , just wonderful !
Although the beginning is all peony and rose accompanied with mandarin and neroli ,,it soon opens into the wonderful hints of lavender warmth of cedar and sweetness of tonka it’s just so wonderful , fresh clean and sweet A new love for me.
So Italien , so Danila Andrier. So clean !!!
Update , this is very longlasting ,an excellent high quality perfume ,very Italien , lasts into the next day ,,,and your bedsheets will still smell an extra day ,,,

I totally, completely agree with Zbear’s and hnica’s reviews of this (just below my review, except, I do not get any white floral with this). To add, this to me smells a bit old-fashioned; very mature, not sure the young gals would wear this, but mid-30’s and up in age range. To me, has a bit of the ‘Bank of England’ scent. To sum up, not at all sweet, more dusty/powdery/floral/old-fashioned/woody smelling. Again, I do not detect the white floral in this, this for me is heavy on the rose and a bare touch of lavender; I do not detect any citrus in this. The woody notes and the tonka definitely pull through for me. This does last long; all day and beyond. The bottle has a comfortable weight to it and a classy design. The cap, though, the design is pretty, but the metal part feels cheap imo.
Sillage for me is moderate, unless you douse yourself in this heavily. But for me, 3-5 sprays, I get moderate sillage/projection. Even with a ton of sprays, this won’t be a room-filling fragrance. I do think there are some notes in here that could be headache-inducing and unpleasant for some with allergies or sensitive noses or asthma, so I would not wear this amongst people I am not familiar with that I will be around for any remote length of time. The first couple times I wore this, I found this to be slightly borderline headache inducing/made my nose a little uncomfortable.
But oddly I have grown to like it and appreciate it. I like that it is not at all a ‘little girl’ scent, not at all. In fact, it reminds me of something my grandmother may have worn. So, definitely for me, this has an ‘old-fashioned’ scent, but I have grown to appreciate and even love some of the old-fashioned scents. Just not an everyday scent for me. This is one I think you should definitely test first before buying. Even if another person smells great wearing this, I would still test this before buying.
Gee, and to think, I thought I ‘didn’t have much to say’ about this one.. 🙂

Knot Eau Florale is a pretty, white floral fragrance. On me, the rose pulls stronger, so it is somewhat reminiscent of the latest Chloe (Chloe Fleur), which sort of makes sense, sinice they are both Coty fragrances.
Where it differs for me is that Fleur takes on a subtle sweetness whereas Knot EF stays quite linear.
Knot Eau Florale conjures images of a mature, elegant woman with her hair pulled in a low bun and wearing dress slacks and a crisp white shirt. Very proper and put-together, but not necessarily memorable.
I do like the scent, and think it would be nice for business settings or when you don’t want to draw too much attention by your perfume, but not sure it is full-bottle worthy for me.

Gosh, why is this a flanker of Knot? They are totally different. Knot Eau Florale is like a tame, mild and forgettable 21th century version of Issey Miyake’s L’eau d’Issey. Pleasant, but unfortunately that is all. Bottle is extremely pretty though.

I received a sizeable sample from Nordstrom which I doused on myself–and I mean really doused (I have enough for two dousings).
Most people who purchase a perfume are already comitted to “liking/loving it”–so this is really a review for people who know less about it.
This is a peony-rose “lite” synthetic smell about which the only kind word I can say is “soapy” (I mean that in a good way because sometimes we dirty folks like soap, and soapy smells from our childhood are not necessarily “all bad”). The citrus makes it a rather fake-generic all-around “smell it routinely scent.” This is nothing extraordinary. It’s pleasant to most people, as long as they don’t flash back to bathroom citrus spray. But do you really want to wear that as a perfume?
This does have an old-fashioned vibe to it (the soap) which is why I’m not scrubbing it (I usually go the distance to test a perfume).
It’s also reminiscent of just walking up to a perfume counter, at, say Nordstrom or Macy’s. There’s just a general “perfume” “lite” and cold quality to the air; you know you’re there at the perfume counter, but all these scents are gently swirling in one low-level consumer-friendly haze with the marginally better stuff buried deep in a drawer (the Estee Lauder Amber or even Wood Mystique is not usually sitting out there with the offerings of Modern Muse or even Beautiful).
It’s light, inoffensive, laundry-fresh, low silage, longevity about 4 hours total, perfect for summer-spring weather. Perfect for the office where they also probably have Citrus Bathroom spray. This is not a niche or interesting perfume. I think a lot of Jo Malone perfumes (as much as they’re reviled) might be better instead (pick one), and I think “My Burberry” accomplishes a similar effect, but is better quality, longer lasting, still light and summery in this same “floral genre.”

    Sure this is “french”!
This is Paris! Paris de Yves Saint Laurent.
A clean modern version of that. Like Parisienne or Paris Printemps.
I was thinking since the first time I have tested that it had something french, something classic and something 80s. Now I had the eureka: Paris dna.
This is a very elegant fragrance, sophisticated and romantic, so Audrey Hepburn into her garden.
Bottled spring. Or spring into a bar soap. Maybe it is a bit too distant, cold, algid flowers. Summer island scent.
Remembers me Chloe’ edt edp also.

There’s not many perfumes that I completely enjoy continually sniffing but this is my favourite at the moment. It’s beautiful, elegant, feminine and I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like it. If you want compliments then wear this. Smells divine on skin and long lasting on clothes. Above all it smells expensive, because it is, but it’s definitely worth it. 🙂

It is indeed stylish, the type of elegant scents French women enjoy!! So I would call it French too, in style, in character…..I own it, I find it a bit shy though, in the line of the Chloe..very spring like..clean , the floral undertone is subtle, easy to wear…it is in my views better than Burberry body, which leans too much toward the rose…Knot Florale is prettier, brighter…
Lovely!! Nice creation, but poor longevity.

Auroramaria I know very well that Bottega Veneta is an italian brand. But when I say “so chic so french” I mean “french style”. I though it was obvious. I was maube erong.

Light peony & rose scent, nice, but nothing exceptional. Office safe for sure.
Update: neroli is just too bitter.

    This scent is adorable.
White flowers sparkling almost acids beginning then become soft and sugary.
It reminds me that Alessandro Dell’Acqua for its hint of luxury soap.
But where AA becomes mossy this becomes milky and a little ‘talc.
So chic so french. True aristocratic elegance. Pure grace.
It reminds me a little ‘eaudemoiselle also.

Knot Eau Florale is a very gentle and tamed fragrance. It embodies a little bit of the fresh, true white floral (neroli & orange blossom) essence of the original Knot, but it’s very different from the latter.
First of all, it’s a rosy scent. I also smell more fruit from it. At the opening I get a burst of zingy berries with a combination of roses and peonies in the background reminding me a lot of YSL Parisienne. Although orange is the note listed here, I don’t really smell it. The zing also isn’t a fruity citrus zing, but more of a fizzy zing. It’s somewhat similar to the one of Chloe EDP. Perhaps it’s from the lavender since a lot of perfumes with a lavender note has that kick. But the lavender note itself also doesn’t stand out. An hour into it, the zing and the berries set back, and the soft rosy floral comes out. At this point it’s very reminiscent of the dry down of Chloe, but a lot softer and more persistent. That soft rosy smell lingered around my wrist for 8 hours. That’s quite incredible because perfumes normal last no more than 3 hours on my wrist (They usually last longer on the inside of my elbow).
Although not ground-breakingly special, Knot Eau Florale is still a very bright, pretty and feminine scent with good longevity. I also love the soft, delicate sillage of it.
Someone mentioned that the women in the ad looks like she would wear something edgier. I totally agree. This ad is better fitted for the original Knot, and it’s more fitted than the original ad also. Eau Florale makes me think of a lady in a cute flowy backless sun dress standing outdoor in the sun. 🙂 🙂

It is a lovely comforting scent. Reminds me of fresh morning air which is so natural and yet we are overwhelmed by its simple beauty. Totally different from other BV perfumes. I would compare it to Chloe as stated before. It is an opening of a beautiful peony, baby powder in the base. Overall quite elegant but tamed, well behaved. Very long lasting, feminine and sensual. I think I want to wake up and smell it all day long.

I find it quite difficult to distinguish between freesia and peony in perfumes. They’re both clean synthetic florals that smell like shampoo, or oddly enough, new clothes made of nylon.
So this smells to me like one of those fresh, young inoffensive perfumes geared towards young women who want to smell clean and pretty.
I prefered the original Knot, which just had a hint of peony, but this one is definitely peony. If you wear this you’ll smell clean, pretty and innocent basically.
It’s not disimilar to Dior’s Forever and Ever. I find the synthetic clean floral notes slightly headache inducing but on another person, when it’s not so close up I think it’s pleasant enough.
The drydown is pleasant, quite peppery.
The woman in the ad’ above looks like she might wear something a bit more edgy, if that’s any help!

It’s the first time I got a sample of Bottega Veneta’s house. And so far I like it! Very soft, clean, creamy-floral. It makes me think of early morning in the winter, when we take a shower, put regular Nivea cream all over the skin and put a white pullover. Believe me it really smells like Nivea!!!! :O Not a bad thing at all, I like it! 🙂
