Description
Kiss by Rihanna comes out in early 2017 as a continuation of the collection that was started with RiRi by Rihanna in 2015, followed by Crush by Rihanna from 2016. Kiss comes in a baby blue bottle with a golden cap, of identical design as its predecessors.
The fragrance is an elegant one of white flowers which is said to be expressing Rihanna‘s radiant feminine power. Playful accords of juicy plums, flowers of freesia and Asian peony embody the spirit of Rihanna with a scent that allegedly enchants the senses.
The bottle is very massive, made of heavy glass and decorated with a golden colored stopper. Available as a 30 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum with a 6 ml mini rollerball.

the perfume bottle has a very cute appearance.. and so may as well the scents, its soothing to my nose especially during cold time.. not really overpowering but good enough when someone has a close conversation with you to smell it..the sweetness isnt making u an headache in fact its feels dreamy.. i thought a celebrity perfume couldnt deserve my attention..but this does.. i had tried it for office use..it can stand for more than 6-7hours longer surprisingly 1 spray on my wrist few sprays on my clothes..

I don’t know why this fragrance doesn’t get more love! Sure, it’s not a powerhouse or anything. But with a name like Kiss, what do you expect? It’s soft, sweet, very alluring with prominent notes of plum, freesia, and cashmere. It starts out with a fruity blast, but dries down into a very sexy, woodsy-musky-vanilla smell. I love it. My boyfriend adores it on me. He said it smells the way a good kiss feels.

Her perfumes are usually very different & I have tried & like all of them but this one is very generic. Like a fruity shampoo or something. Nothing stand out. Im not sure i’d recognize it if I smelled it on someone. Its not bad, nothing here for anyone to really dislike, I think. but nothing unique or stand out about it.

Don’t know why, but I did get a vibe of Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy in this one from the opening. Very strange! Somebody else in here did also mention it.
Anyway, since I like Viva, there is no reason that prevents me from liking this one also 🙂
Out of three “dome” shaped versions (Riri, Crush and Kiss), this one by far is the most interesting one and has more complexity than the other two. I prefer Crush next in line and can pass Riri.

This is one of these perfumes one has to give time to. The opening is weird and smells generically sweet. It is not bad, just strange. Difficult to explain, i am sorry. Later, i start to smell the flowers and it starts to get better, but it is still odd at this stage. Two hours or so later, i get a delicious sweet flowery smell! It smells fresh and clean, but creamy and soft.
If the fragrance were composed only of this stage, it would get a big fat like from me.
This is not Rihanna’s most inspired fragrance, and i can’t actually imagine her wearing it, but it is a pleasant fragrance, even though it is not really original.
I don’t know to whom i should recommend it.

Like Isobela said, I should like this one based on the notes, and Rihanna has a nice line of perfumes, but Kiss does not work for me neither. It’s nice enough although too sweet for my taste, but I think it’s the ambergris combined with that sweetness that makes me feel queasy for the first hour. The dry down is nicer, but the slight nausea getting there is not worth it. That’s too bad…

I cannot bear this one and I don’t know why as it contains all the notes I love. It’s over powering, syrupy and synthetic smelling to my nose. Along the lines of viva la juicy (although i prefer that one) I normally really like Rihanna perfumes and her reb’l fleur is one of my all time favourites so I was quite disappointed. To be fair when I first bought this I was suffering badly from morning sickness so perhaps this has marred it for me for good. I’ve worn it once since I bought it and never again, such a waste. On the whole I’m not half as impressed with this whole line as her previous lines, those were lovely and a bit different. I find all this line rather generic. Maybe I will give it one more go as everyone else seems to really like it.

Mom loves the smell of fruits especially plums so she secretly bought it and I and Kianna smell it almost everyday. The smell of the plums with hints of vanilla, peony, gardrenia and cashmere wood is so beautiful I and Kianna even share and wear it!

Tested it on paper and on skin. Im actually quite surprise with this and coming from rihanna(i’ve smell all the reb line before)
This is pure floral power with plum juice,soft and feminine,might get it but i want to try riri first and compare.
(EDIT:ok.. done.. i get this instead of riri,because this smells different (riri smell like some perfume that i smells before)the white floral really makes it smells like a designer perfume,very feminine… plus i dont have to deal with half clear half coloured bottle when i use half of it)

I purchased a small bottle of this even though everytime I tested it I could never tell what it smelled like. I really like this. It is very fresh and zingy when first sprayed but settles into a musk very quickly. It really reminds me of the fruity musky stage I have with alien edp. I kept thinking this really reminds me of a very slight aspect of alien. It is a little laundry detergent esq but the plum is there enough to stop it smelling like ironing aid. Even now 30 mins after spraying it just reminds me of alien. That is for me personally I doubt others will notice that its just that alien goes a bit sour and musty on me and kiss doesnt so it replaces that aspect of alien for me personally and that is probably why I enjoy this as it is nothing ground breaking but the similarity was impossible for me to ignore.the bottle is solid glass and thrcap is plastic but not in a tacky way. I think you can smell little similarities to the crush and riri but these are all slightly different in their own way. If you are a fan of these thrn getting the little gift pack that has each 1 in mini size would be nice. You could really choose your favourite. Crush was just like vera wang lovestruck to me and riri was like a sweet vanilla version of playboy rock so this kiss 1 is a nice in between for me and possibly my favorite. I think it would be nice in all weather the others may be too sweet and musky this has a freshness that cuts through the musk on my skin not sure about other people. I still would warn against blind buys as it does have a noticeable white floral background which i think is what gives me the alien impression or even a very very mild version of kim kardashian original almost a very sheer version. I will re-purchase this when I finish it and it isnt for little kids. If you like taylor swifts taylor or kims original 1 or I fancy you by jessica simpson or tease by paris hilton you might like this as something a tiny bit sweet but also floral. Lasts a couple of hours have to re spray so you would need to like the opening smell to put up with re-spraying but reaches the dry down very quickly for me personally.

I really like this perfume. For me this blind buy was a win. I also love Rihanna’s perfumes she brings out. It’s a lovely white floral. There is something else I detected, but I don’t know what it is right now.

Incredibly boring…Shocking considering most of her perfumes smell very original and of good quality.
This smells like clean sheets with some generic fruit on top of it. A safe buy for a gift for someone you don’t know. Not a fan of this, not BAD but it isn’t good.

Its refreshing and smells blue if that makes any sense. Its not boring, and i really adore the amber gris in the development middle and base notes. It has some sort of licqorice/ bitter orange/ tonka note, but its not in the list above. It smells expensive, and it kinda remind me of obsession Night by Calvin Klein. Longevity aprox 5-6 h on me. Sillage is moderate. Im buying this soon.

I love it. It doesn’t smell like a celebrity scent at all. Reminds me of a Jo Malone cologne. It’s unique, fresh, delicate, clean, cozy and innocent. Amazing silage and longevity.

Until the last two. Both Riri and Crush are nice perfumes but nothing exceptional or different just quite generic in my opinion. Where as I felt that the Reb’l line was something different, as was Rogue.
Kiss is a beautiful fragrance. More of an impact sort of fragrance. On me and I know it’s not in the notes, but it has a licorice base with a vanillary white floral body. They don’t smell the same so don’t get me wrong, but I feel like if you didn’t mind poison girl or black opium but found them too heady (or exi) this could be a gentler, cosier alternative.
Very well rounded and not something you would associate with the “celebrity scent”.

I got a test of this one today and the first thing I did
was dropping it to the floor and it broke, but oh well.
The room smells very nice now at least,
and I got some on my skin and I can tell I really really
like this scent. It’s fresh and sweet, but I also find it quite classy. It’s just lovely.
I’m glad it was just a small test that broke and not a whole bottle. I will definately buy this.
When I’ve experienced other perfumes with plum in them they’re usually not my cup of tea, but this plum scent mixes so well with the amber.

I actually really like this a lot. It smells like Plum and amber which smells a little like Vanilla too. its just as nice as Ri Ri.i bought the sample and i definitely want a whole bottle. it doest smell cheap either it smells expensive and unique. the bottle is very pretty too so that is icing on the cake.

Okay, this one is actually REALLY NICE! On my skin, it turns into a fresh scent with a very romantic classic finish, which I would equate to the floral notes. though, you must understand that for something with gardenia in it, this is not your tuberose/gardenia mix. The florals are very subtle. My skin did not quite accentuate the plum notes as much as I would have liked, but did on my friend, it was intensified by her skin actually. My only beef: all notes were completely gone in 2 hours and I was able to apply a different perfume and not effect the smell of it. Boo hoo hoosville…..But if you have a travel size to re-apply throughout the day, then I say Rock ON!! Because it was lovely!

I like it, DONT LOVE IT. Its very edgy and smells like plum. I thought it would be a lot more floral since there are many florals in it but nope, it reminds me of cough medicine.

Just got this as a gift from my boyfriend. The first thing that struck me is that the bottle itself is gorgeous! Love the vintage design. The fragrance is very wearable but it isn’t too generic; I love that it has its own character. I smell a very slight similarity to Midnight Fantasy, probably because of the plum note but it isn’t a strong connection, it definitely is a perfume of its own. I think you could wear this daytime or nighttime; the plum gives it a bit of sweet darkness, but the florals make it quite diverse. Projects well and longevity is ok.
