So I’m reviewing it again. Last time I jokingly said that I would apply this with a paper towel because it’s too strong and that’s exactly what I did.
I had one of those papery white Starbucks napkins in my purse. I sprayed one spray on that and then touched the napkin to the back of both my hands and the backs and fronts of both my wrists.
I’m typing right now so my hands are a distance away from my face but the sillage is enormous! I can smell the passion fruit + peach juice as if it were sprayed directly onto my face. It’s giving me a sitting by the pool at a fancy hotel next to the ocean drinking a non-alcoholic fruit juice feeling. But… you know, those over-priced fruit juices in the fancy glass with the umbrella on it.
It’s not literal juice scent of course, there is a musky perfumey nuance to it and it does smell expensive. There are sweet florals in the background (heliotrope definitely but other flowers too, not listed here) that cushion the fruit notes and give a luxurious feeling. There is also that salty sandy ‘a beach is nearby’ feeling so I can vouch for that ‘sand’ note on the pyramid. It’s in there, just blended into the background notes.
I’m just in awe right now that something I did as a joke (spaying one spray on a Starbucks tissue) is producing a scent this strong. This feels like the equivalent of 4-5 sprays of something like Coco Mademoiselle with just one spray.
I’m smelling the tissue now, and the heliotrope/floral musky scent is stronger on the paper but my skin is projecting the fruit notes more.
I like the fragrance more this time around. I’m glad because after last time I was feeling wary of trying it again, despite the fact that it smelled nice.

Anyone who takes particular notice of my input to this forum (and I am not expecting that anyone should, I emphasise!) may have noticed that I wore this a while back, and completely forgot to review it. I certainly intended to, as I don’t think anyone who wears this and subscribes to this forum could fail to at least intend to review this beauty! I just got distracted by something – can’t even remember what now.
It’s intensely sweet, intensely musky; and intensely … that other thing that it is. What I’m talking about is that note that has become known as a sand note … or a salt note – as I do think the two are very similar – very much the same sort of thing, really. It really is, IMO, one of the great innovations of aromachemistry. I’m fairly sure there is no way of getting it using natural substances – but if anyone knows otherwise, please do say so!
To my perception, it imparts a kind of graininess to the fragrance, without which this particular one would be way too sweet. It’s a bit like that kind of abrasive throat-feel that real Vimto, which is only now made in Saudi Arabia, has, and which is imparted (I think) by sarsaparilla.
And this also has that monstrous Tiziana Terenzi tenacity! Altogether, a colossus of a fragrance.

Tiziana Terenzi is a house that produces quality, and you can only expect the best from them. Kirke is no exception. It is an incredible fruity fragrance that is very attractive and will make you smell your wrists constantly, which is what I always do after applying it. I always fall for fruity scents like Kirke and Erba Pura, and yes they are very similar. The price of Kirke is reasonable in comparison to other fragrances from Tiziana Terenzi.

I commented once on this and I am back. This frag is the best!!! You can wear this on Monday and still smell of Kirke on Friday, lol that’s how strong and damn good this frag is.

Wow! It’s very strong! One spray, and touch wrists together should do it! It’s very MUSK + PEACH + PASSIONFRUIT to me in that order, the rest of the notes blend to form a bright, warm glow around these three main notes.
I put this on 5 hours ago (2 sprays) and it still smells like I just put it on 10 minutes ago!
The interesting thing about this is that when I stick my nose close to my wrist, the musk feels TOO MUCH and I don’t like it, but the moment my hands are a normal distance away from my face, it smells so good, like peach nectar with a passionfruit twist and perfumey base. (Well okay actually, that “musk too much” thing was in the first hour, now that muskiness is gone and even touching my nose to my wrist, it’s still pleasant.)
Spring + summer, definitely, but not too hot or it will be suffocating. I actually see this doing great in the winter too since it’s such a powerhouse.
For those who like perfumey peach + passionfruit.
EDIT – It’s been almost 10 hours now and it’s still going at about 65% strength from what I described last time. When they call this “extrait de parfum they aren’t kidding!” Next time I apply this, I’m going to spray it on a paper towel and just touch the paper towel to my skin because this is a bit ridiculous now. I like to switch perfumes at least once or twice a day but I’ve been stuck with this one all day.
EDIT 2 – Almost 14 hours have passed, this smell is still on my arm, I’m kind of annoyed now. It’s at about 50% intensity. The muskiness is back too. This is the longest lasting perfume that’s ever touched my skin.

Kirke is a fruity musky fragrance done right! Without any doubt the fruits are the star of this fragrance. Passion fruit, peach, raspberry and pear (strength of the notes as in order) create a sweet, candy-like sensation. The passion fruit reminds me of sparkling candy from way back when I was a kid. The added musk gives off a soapy clean aroma to balance the sweetness from the fruits. I really do like this one. I do find that this would be more versatile on a woman. It can fit a man, but not in a formal situation (it’s not like a man cannot wear Kirke, I just find that it might not work for men all the time). The projection on this is amazing, blasts off the skin like a monster for about 2 hours and then settles closer to this skin, without really leaving you until you take a shower. Big thumbs up, I highly recommend trying it out.

Well, I can’t really tell what Kirke smells like.
Something nosehair tickling and eye watering is overpowering all other notes. It’s like inhaling ammonia. Even my sinuses sting and though I’ve since washed the clothes I wore when I tried it, the scent yet clings to the cloth.
I had the exact same, heavy reaction to Sospiro – Erba Pura and Diptyque – L’ombre dans leau. Is cassis the culprit? Does my nose interpret it as cat piss, like I’ve read about?
Anyway, I have no such issues with Byredo – Pulp.
Edit: Most people at work liked Kirke and thought it smelled like “yummy berries”. But I and one other colleague had the same, violent reaction to both Kirke and Erba Pura. Had there been a fire nearby, I doubt we’d have been able to tell!
    Fascinating.

I haven’t smelt so many niche scents but this fragrance is the best niche fragrance that I’ve smelt. It’s not 100 % feminine, it is absolutely unisex. It can be worn by men for sure.It smells like sexy fruity shampoo. It will give you a lot of compliments.

Even though I like sweet frags, this is definitly not unisex. It’s 100% feminine. Very sweet and very fruity. Last 24h+! Even projected on my skin after I showered.

I don’t like this. I got a free tester from Notino with a large order of other testers, and was excited when I saw the review saying its like Erba Pura. Kirke is fruity but has an old-fashioned and somewhat generic aspect. I agree with the first review that its rather like a fruit-scented generic shampoo. Nothing like Erba Pura which is exceptional and unique. I looked at other Tiziana Terenzi perfume reviews, and another of their perfumes is actually heavily likened to Erba Pura as well so am wondering if the reviewer below got confused.

Loved the opening , juicy, tropical fruity yet somehow suitable for ‘adulting’.
Drydown tho…a very generic piercing musk (and maybe something else apart from musk too?) which usually makes my stomach turn…(sigh). get a lot of that from mainstraim frags. i give it to Kirke that the drydown is strong , last for ages, even if it was news for me (was unable to scrub it off), but may be good news for other frag lovers.
Price point aside, the opening is fantastic and had the drydown been more agreeable with me, would have considered a purchase. But then…it is too expensive for a one hour joy and 8 hrs of suffering …hope you have more luck with this.

For me this one is a dupe of Sospiro Erba Pura ( which I own). They are identical.

To me this fragrance is all about passionfruit. And it’s the best passionfruit I’ve smelled so far- very authentic, tart and spicy just like whole fruit with seeds is. Peach comes out strong after about an hour but it’s still a little sour thanks to cassis.
I can’t detect any patchouli or flowers, I wouldn’t also call it a musky fragrance. It’s strictly fruity. Very vivid, sunny, tropical and true 🙂 Excelent longetivity and projection.

Smells delicious on the skin, but what I smell the most is patchouli. Too heavy on the patchouli.

    Creamy peach pears musky blend.
It’s a fruitti musk yet creamy. I really can’t detect any passionfruits! As much as the raspberries, pears, & peach. There is as well musk, Lily of the valley, and creamy note.
It’s fair for those who likes creamy fruits, mostly peach and pears.

Smell like fruit mixed juice. Girls absolutely love it. However, once I uses it, gets cloying in a day.

I think this is the ‘hairspray fantasy’ more so than Insolence. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t smell similar at all but the hairspray vibe is there. And this one is a beast! The sillage is INSANE and it lasts for days. One spray will do! Very fruity with a masculine undertone. I love it and get compliments every time I wear it. Even more awesome that I met Paolo Terenzi this summer at Barneys in Vegas and he signed my bottle 😀 Very nice man. ❤

Lovely scent by first impression. Very fruity-summer-fresh. I couldn’t stop smelling because it was so Yummy.
But than suddenly it reminds me of some kind of shampoo; ” Fructis” or something.
    Ah! Magic was gone!
