I love the cherry note in Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum so I was looking for a strong unisex cherry fragrance. This is a sweet syrupy cherry scent and not a fresh/natural cherry that I was looking for but I like it. To be honest, this will shine on a woman. It’s too much for a westerner because its character is pure arabic.. sharp, vivid and loud. But anyone could wear it. It’s a sweet scent but not overly sweet which I dislike.
This is a semi-gourmand and true arabic scent with strong performance. You won’t walk unnoticed.. it leans slightly towards feminine scents .
This Attar starts as a cinnamon/cherry bomb and ends like a cherry/cinnamon bomb. The opening and the first stage of the evolution of this fragrance is a semi-gourmand type. The second part till the end when it becomes smoother, it is clearly a gourmand.
The smell I get from this looks like a greek sweet dessert called “ριζόγαλο” (rizogalo, a greek rice pudding) with cherry syrup and double cinnamon.. Greek friends here will understand exactly who it feels. This scent has the strongest and most beautiful cinnamon I’ve ever smelt in a fragrance.
Dominant notes are a strong cherry/cinnamon combo and vanilla. It is a strong scent with nice longevity 10 hours easily with strong sillage for about 3-4 hours and good projection. After that it becomes moderate and 6 hours after the application it becomes a skin scent that still projects 2 cm from the skin.
Verdict. If you love syrupy cherry/cinnamon, try it. Good arabic stuff. It costs about 250 usd per 100 ml here.
