My boyfriend bought this for me on a recent trip to Pakistan. I absolutely love it. The bottle and box it comes housed in make it the most beautiful gift. I felt so special and so loved just receiving it. I’ve had no end of compliments and enquiries about the scent which is rich and dense and woody with clear roses notes. This is my second CPO from Al Haramain. I see that there is thought to there being a “family” of scents in his world, and I love it.
This is wonderfully similar to Al Buraq, but has the most interesting sharper tone to it; as if these were early roses, rather than fully bloomed. It is just as rich, oud, and dense as the other, it’s lasting power on me is building as I wear it; it seems like each time I put it on, it sinks into my skin deeper, leaving me sniffing longer each time I wear it….Began at about 6 hours, am now at about 8 and wake to slight powder and rose on cooler nights. A pleasure to have neck craned to wrist for such good reason..
And, yes. This comes in the beautiful wooden box if you purchase the full size, and mine also had a small 6ml travel bottle that came with it.
