Description

Kenzo Jungle was the name of the first Kenzo boutique in Paris. Kenzo Jungle follows two themes. Nature and flower, but the presented by Kenzo Jungle is a special, cyber-nature. This spicy floral fragrance was created in 1996. It opens with airy mandarin, fresh cardamom, cumin and clove. The heart unites ylang-ylang, licorice, mango and heliotrope, while the base wraps it all with patchouli, vanilla, amber and cashmere, which create intense and sensual trace.

The nose behind this fragrance is Dominique Ropion.

On my skin this dries down to my signature at University which was Woody Sandalwood by the Body Shop as it used to be then. I got some WS on ebay but it’s much thinner now and this takes me back to my youth in the most amazing way. It takes about half an hour to get there though – it smells like a Christmas candle at first as many others have said. I don’t find it too strong, it seems to work with my skin.
A very good blind buy all in all.

Yummy, creamy, soft spicy in the best possible way. Definitely a perfume that will get you noticed.
It’ll make people wander you’ve been around house where some eastern sweets were in the making and now the smell sticked to your clothing or you use some super fancy essential oil mix in your grooming routine, which now wafts soft spicyness complimenting your vanilla perfume.
What I’m trying to picture here is that it doesn’t necessarily smell like a perfume, but rather natural, transporting smell that surrounds the wearer…
Nothing more to say here, that hasn’t been already said though.
I fell in love by the first spray and had to have it. Really gonna get use of it this starting autumn and all through winter.
    10/10
    Btw totally unisex and sexy!

Wow, this is my first time trying this. Found it at Ross for 13 bucks. I looked it up here on fragrantica as I was at the store, because the name Jungle intrigued me. It isn’t my all time favorite but not bad at all. As I love Opium, Youth-Dew, Cinnabar, both men’s and women’s versions of Obsession, anything oud and Diptyque L’eau and Eau Lente, of course I like this. Spicy is my thing. This is a spillage beast and has lasted 10 hrs on my skin so far.

This smells like a extremely expensive Christmas candle!!! I wish I could find a candle that smells like this!!!

Oh wow, this is the THING. This perfume truly deserves its name. Jungle Elephant is really HUGE, super powerful, massive and imperious. It fills the room every time and doesn’t live any space for other scents.
I’ve known L’Elephant since childhood – it was my friend’s mother signature. She used it every single day and damn, she definitely wasn’t gentle with this. I remember their entire house and their car smelled like mountain of super sweet cloves and other spices. It was pretty dramatic experience, specially for a little girl like me. Because of that, I’ve truly hated L’Elephant for years…
It has changed few years ago. I don’t visit my friend’s house anymore and I almost forgot about how I hated this perfume. I started to appreciate this and now I find this really pleasant, beautiful and cozy scent for cold and snowy winter days. It’s spicy, sweet and warm, reminds me of delicous Christmas cookies. Beautiful, but you need to be careful with this. In this case – less is more, belive me.
Oh, and it lasts forever on skin. Powerful AF.

I still have an old miniature of this from 1996 – the only miniature from my collection that I didn’t throw away in a cleaning rage in the late 90’s, because that little elephant was so cute…
Well, good thing I still have it to compare with a new bottle manufactured in 2015, and as you can guess: there unfortunately is a major difference. Where the old juice is a beautiful spicy vanilla, the new bottle is all about clove, clove, clove. So much clove that it clears my sinuses and gives me a headache and is just unwearable. Such a shame, because if you could smell the original you would fall in love, it’s just so beautifully blended and the spices take a back seat.
The juice of the old mini is darker and maybe the clove-note has evaporated over the years. If that is the case then I’ll happily put the new bottle away for 20 years to let it age like a good wine. If you want to try the original formula: search for a miniature in a purple box with yellow label which opens at the front and has a green jungle print inside.

My daughter said ‘mum it smells like that tooth stuff that mouth stuff’. She meant clove. I’ve rubbed Clove oil on an ulcer on her gum before or used it for toothache .
Yep clove is prominent. It’s not gourmand but it smells like the Caribbean, grounded spice mix I add to the cake batter, which I use to make sponge cake. I detect Nutmeg, vanilla essence , clove.
Wearable. A warm, toasty autumn hug.
The bottle design is really lovely. Makes no sense or Rhyme or reason to the scent inside though!?

Ive wanted to try this one for awhile, but never wanted to push my luck on getting a full bottle without smelling it. Well, I found a very reasonable decant on line and nabbed it. Right off the bat, the rich spicy Christmas notes won me over. Anyone who like YSL Opium, Obsession, Coco Chanel and Tom Ford Shanghai Lili will take an instant shine to this one. The quality clove note reminds me a lot of Coco and Shanghai Lily but Elephant is more about the spices and less about the flowers. While L’Elephant is mouth watering and rich I don’t find it overly strong, pronounced maybe, but not killer, I’ve smelled way stronger. This is unisex to me, as I don’t find spicy Christmas smells particularly masculine or feminine. I do have an issue with the dry down. The first hour it’s rich and decedent, but then it fades off to a soft Chai tea vanilla body scent. Its nice but a world apart from the opening and maybe thats what separates this from Tom Ford and Chanel. Kenzo Elephant is a lower price point, but its worthy. I give L’Elephant solid B grade.

I was wary about this fragrance before purchase, fearing it would be “odd “ or too much to wear easily . However, it is an example of very fine and creative perfumery . Though other reviews declare it the strongest fragrance ever , I do not . Yes, it is strong, but after the dry down it is perfect . Compared to “Daisy “ it might seem strong . It gives an aura of warmth in the beautiful and lasting drydown.
The spices are RICH, and lush . The floral notes do not give a headache. This is well blended and yes, it is a stronger fragrance , but not so intense it is offensive. I am always asked about my perfume when I wear this . I absolutely love it and also find it very comforting . My best description is that it reminds me of the best notes of Chopard Casmir and Calvin Klein’s Obsession. I love everything about it and it has good sillage and is long lasting . Excellent for fall or winter !

Here, you are in for an adventure. Are you ready? Focus on the purple and the bright green colour on and within the package for a moment. It may give you an impression of what is about to follow, but you might already get that, albeit somehow distorted, by simply opening the box with the bottle left untouched. My oh my! Imagine an elephant chewing on a chewing gum, or better, a chewing gum chewing on an elephant. The chewing gum has no teeth, so no worries about the elephant. However, does it really not have teeth? I think that this might be up for debate. Also, why am I reminded of a certain ultraviolet fragrance, albeit this one here being less sparkly and way thicker? Is it not interesting how other questions, like why the cap was not made out of metal so that it could somehow be turned into a necklace, somehow fade in comparison? In the mean time, let me have a few of these spiced peanuts to gather my thoughts on whether I would agree on it being suitable, I mean practically and not categorically, for both women and men. Indeed, I will have a milky masala chai with that. Thank you!

This definitely smells like someone crashed into the spices’ cabinet. I’m gonna wear it again while roaming a Christmas market in the mountains and see if I can stand it then.

If, like me, cannot splurge on Tom Ford: Patchouli Abosolute, presently, go for this!!!
It’s in the same neighborhood. Not as murky and dark as TFPA. It’s more inviting and warm.
Like a warm cup of chai tea, with a splash of sweetened , vanilla almond milk..

A very different and interesting fragrance, but not my cup of tea, unfortunately. I have a 1.7 oz bottle, totally full. Willing to swap or something like that. PM me if you have interest.

Holy Jesus, this is the strongest fragrance I’ve ever encountered. One spray of Jungle L’Elephant is the equivalent to at least 4 or 5 sprays of an average fragrance. I don’t particularly care for this combination of spices, which makes the strength a bit of a double-edged sword for me–I think I only want clove to be the third or fourth strongest note in a fragrance, not the dominant note, and the mix of spice with the cardamom sweetness is confusing my brain (#midwesternwhitepeopleproblems). But i’m jealous of people for whom this smell works because experiencing this beast makes me retroactively disappointed in all of the fragrances that I’ve loved that didn’t threaten to knock me out if I got too close. Everyone else needs to step up their game.

I’d known of this fragrance in the past, never had an inkling to test it. Well I’ve discovered just how potent, spicy, beastly this fragrance is. I watched some reviews and decided to buy a small bottle blind, boy what a unique fragrance. I’m used to using cloves cardamom and cinnamon in Pakistani cooking but rarely smelt it in fragrance apart from YSL Opium. I’ve never smelt this on anyone I was totally blown away by the scent it’s so powerful. I love it I’m naturally more inclined towards strong spicy fragrances so I don’t know how I’ve passed Kenzo Jungle by until now. I’ve already bought a 100ml back up I should be set for some time now. If you haven’t tested this give it a go as there’s nothing that smells quite like this fragrance it is so different unusual sexy dark and mysterious. I’m in love.

I need to be patient, really patient with this one in order to like it, as the opening is just too strong, too oriental and overwhelming for my liking with all the warm spices, especially clove. Very unique scent indeed but definitely is not for everyone. You will be noticed for sure wearing Kenzo Jungle L’Elephant, but I doubt that it is gonna be a crowd pleaser. It is not a bad fragrance, just strong and unusual. I would not recommend it for summer, or even spring, or fall, as its sillage and longevity are the beast.

I was so curious. I just discovered my love for orientals and heavier scents when I first met L’Elephant and this is an encounter I will always remember because it has taught me many things about myself.
At the first try, I have to admit, I couldn’t handle this gem. I was going through a rough patch in my life and I fell ill with a terrible, terrible cold the next day, so I think my chemistry and my own problems were the ones to blame that day. I sort of forgot about her for a few weeks but one morning I woke up and I started thinking about L’Elephant… and I just couldn’t get this perfume out of my head, just like a crush you don’t want to admit in the beginning but you slowly start to learn the real depth of your feelings.
So I pondered for another few weeks and decided (or maybe the scent made this decision, I’m not sure) that I HAD TO get a bottle of this beauty because I knew, I felt that I needed her – and I was so right!
Now L’Elephant is my trusted friend, a lovely companion now that I know how to appreciate and accept her comforting embrace. I am so happy to have this sweet, lively, spicy creation with me at all times. I couldn’t imagine my scent wardrobe without it anymore! So much so that currently she is one of my signature scents. In addition to this, my fiance loves this scent so much that sometimes he wears it as well – which is a big thing because he is a fan of dry citrusy-woody fragrances.
Fun fact: Even though it is summer where I live right now, I wanted to enjoy this wonderful fragrance so I sprayed it on me this morning with much happines. Not so surprisingly I already got some kind compliments on this adorable piece of art from my colleagues and friends.
Even if L’Elephant is mostly regarded as a winter scent, or even if she doesn’t seem to be your type at first… just give her time and be daring, kind, and curious – just like her. Maybe you will find a treasure in this fragrance the same way I did, and I really hope you do.
This is my love story with Kenzo Jungle L’Elephant.

I blind bought this just last week based purely on the reviews here. Spice is my bag baby. So much so that I’ve taken to wearing my hubby’s Victor and Rolf Spice Bomb because I’m besotted with it. Jungle so far has not disappointed me one bit. I’ve now worn it 3 times… and every time its like it morphs into a totally different animal. Even over the course of a couple of hours the scent changes and I LOVE THAT. right now I can smell the sweet warmth of spiced rum… two hours ago it had a vague camphoric aroma which evoked memories of being a child warm in bed with chest rub. I’m so impressed with this. And best of all it clings. It really sticks. The sillage is awesome. I’m a big fan of bold and slightly unusual fragrances eg; Eden by Cacharel, Dior Poison, even Joop Homme, and Jungle L’Elephant fits right in that category as far as I’m concerned. ITS JUST MAGIC.

This perfume is a beast. A wonderful beast. Once you are in its clutches you will never escape nor will you want to. It’s a lion that roars and then just purrs next to you for hours and hours until it turns into a house cat.
You really must love spice for this one. It’s an absolute necessity. Particularly spices that are not cinnamon. It’s a very gourmand fragrance but not in a food way. It’s like warm, spiced milk. Perfect. Very middle eastern to me. I live in a warm climate so I generally hesitate to use more than half a spray at any time. Personally, I think it really shines in the heat, even more so than in winter, but I don’t want the people around me to feel like they’re being suffocated inside a spice cabinet. If L’Air du Desert Marocain is wandering through the bazaar, L’Elephant is coming home from the bazaar. Very transporting and comforting.

I’ve already written a positive review on this one but I’d like to add another comment. It is very well possible, that l’elephant has ruined every other fragrance for me (or spoiled me for every other fragrance). For more than one year I’ve been wearing it more or less around the clock and I can safely say that I never want to smell any other scent on my skin ever again. Ever. (Except Angel, maybe.) Other scents I used to like before (Dune, for example) now seem bland or offensive. L’elephant ist so lovely.

Just tried an experiment. It’s very hot in the UK, a heatwave in fact, normally I’d avoid Jungle as it amplifies in hot weather. This time I put the merest dot on, and after the spices bloomed off, I’m left with a very pleasant, long-lasting vanilla accord. Result! Just a dot, mind 😉

Spices and extremly sweetness, but you wont forget the person who is waering it. My first impression was- what on earth but than i started to like it, i wont wear it myself but i like it on others.

I had heard many people compare this to my beloved Organza Indecence so I thought I had to try it and bought a 5ml mini. I can see why the comparison was made due to the spice but Indecence is simply laced with cinnamon; l’elephant is only spice. The opening is like walking in to my local health food shop- cardamon, liquorice, cumin, sweetened with vanilla. There is a hint of cloves, but to me the overwhelming spice is the cardomon, closely followed by the licorice. It’s not the sweet lolita lempika variety but the more earthy, slightly medicinal scent of dried, natural licorice sticks. After about 30 mins an unpleasant metallic, blood-like scent becomes the prominent note. This note makes me dislike it. Without the blood note it would be ok, but still a fairly simple fragrance unless linear spice is your thing. And no, it is nothing like Organza Indecence.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

It’s quite justly one of the great radical fragrances this one. It’s essentially a spice-bomb to an extreme degree. It is about spice; it does spice: everything else that is in it is for the framing and the expediting of the spice.
It does actually remind me a little of Roja Dove’s Enigma Pour Homme, which I gave a run-out recently. Not full on like it, but bringing-to-mind of it.
And despite just what I’ve just said, it is a proper perfume. It doesn’t just make you smell like some heavily spiced fruitcake or hot-cross bun or something.
And the lid is awsome, with its solid brass elephant.
I’ve had this on for a few hours now, and it’s turning out to be a seriously high-calibre fragrance. People around me are just picking up on it all-over the place … and liking it on the whole, fortunately. One or two have become slightly alarmed, though, wondering what it is. Better save it strictly for leisure in future, I think!
In Britain, it can be obtained at the present time from Notino for a somewhat reduced price (£50 per 100ml bottle). I’m not advocating blind-buying anything atall just because it’s recommended on this site, even at reduced price; but this one’s an exception really, in that it’s reputation is really quite enormous – elephantine even, and not just on this site.

L’Elephant opens with an unprecedented onslaught of spices, so much so that I can envision the masses of Daisy lovers recoiling in horror and disgust, convulsing in the aisles of Sephora and rebuking Kenzo in the name of all that is fruity and floral.
Briefly after being accosted by the spices in the opening, a rich, medicinal ylang-ylang is introduced, accompanied by aromatic cardamom and cloves sweetened by the aroma of raw, naturalistic vanilla and candied licorice. L’Elephant also possesses an accord that smells akin to that of pink musk sticks, an old-fashioned Australian confectionary notable for its potent aroma many associate with perfume.
L’Elephant is a luscious, omnipotent oriental goddess that I can foresee swiftly becoming a favourite. Bravo, Kenzo!

Imagine a bakery on Christmas Eve, decorated with poinsettias and other fresh flowers. Imagine the smell of the flowers mingling with the smell of Christmas baking. Maybe some potpourri mixed in. And something savory, too, that I can’t quite put my finger on.
    That’s what this is.
But it took a minute for me to really appreciate it.
This was a blind buy, after coming to this page over and over again to read the reviews.
When I first got it, I sprayed it and smelled it, and my first thought was, “Oh God, I seriously screwed up.”
I didn’t understand how anyone could think this was pleasant. Just a massive, clumsy, spicy mess with an odd, nasty sweetness like rotten fruit.
But then I remembered how common it is for a scent to change, so I braced myself and sprayed it again on my wrists, and waited.
After a few minutes, the scent settled, and the cloves peeked out. Then they were joined by cinnamon, although that’s not one of the notes listed. And then vanilla.
It took about half an hour for this to calm down on my skin, but once it did, it was beautiful and warm and comforting. I ended up spraying it again, just so I could surround myself in this scent.
This is the kind of scent where, if you’re ever having a bad day, you could just wrap yourself up in a blanket, with a good book, spray this on, and it’ll just make you feel cozy and warm.

This is my all time favourite perfume. I tried it by chance, my daughter had a set of miniature kenzo fragrances given to her and didn’t like this one. I tried it and fell instantly in love. It’s warm, spicy, floral, fresh baked bread, delicious!
My partner prefers flower, which I often wear in the summer. I find Elephant just a bit too heavy when it’s hot.

Aaaaah, L’Elephant, where have you been all my life?
The listed spices made me hesitate, even though I love ‘big’ perfumes – cardamom, cumin, caraway? Finally, I bought a mini, just to try it. Honestly, I don’t know what I was worried about – this is perfection. The cardamom is just soooo…luscious, along with the mango, Licorice and ylang ylang. Straight to my favourites list!

    This was a blind buy,
I can’t count the number of times I’ve been on this page just to read everyone’s comments and wanting to test it on me. I saw it on sale an I couldn’t resist since we can’t have it in stores in Canada for some reason. Will update when it gets here.
    Update:
I’ve finally tried this beauty on! At first spritz, the cloves and cardamom gave me a slap (a good one) in the face. After more than an hour on my skin now, they’re still there in the background, but mango and amber are trying to peak their heads up from their spicy sisters. This is a scent that makes me feel like the sun is shining even on a rainy day. It puts me in a great mood and makes me forget the bad time. Most people here say it is a winter fragrance but I feel like it can adapt itself to all the seasons and temperatures, bringing a different approach and character.
9 out of 10 mangoes for me!

I’ve come to the conclusion that this smells better with age. I’ve had my bottle for over 2 years, barely used it, maybe because I have heaps of other perfumes or it’s just too precious…
Kenzo jungle is a beast of a perfume!!!
I find that 2 sprays are enough to get me through the day. How good is that?
Just wanted to say I had my morning shower and couldn’t decide what perfume to spray on. I look and looked, suddenly eyed this beast.
To my surprise this smelt nothing like it did the first time I bought it.
It’s now spicier, more powdery, more clove, more ylang ylang.
It’s definitely a perfume that ages well 😉

This perfume is something else! It was a blind buy but I felt it was one of those fragrances that would figure on a list of 100 perfumes to try before you die ( if such a list existed!). I got a slight floral note and then pow – an explosion of spice. The spice is warm and musky like a hothouse holding exotic plants . The floral note remains but in a very elusive can’t quite put your finger on it kinda way. Also – and this will sound bizarre- I had an initial smell like animals in a circus but rather faint like standing in the next field to a circus tent. I really would recommend this one. Long Lasting also.

A blind buy that I regret. I love Kenzo fragrances, but this one is little bit too much of everything. I thought I would never say that a perfume is too long lasting, but this one is. Can’t get the smell off my hand. It’s way too strong, my eyes literally teared up with the first whiff. If anybody is interested, it’s yours.

  39. :

I’m late to the Kenzo Jungle game. In the 90s I was a Feminite du Bois fan girl, and being on a limited budget meant that their was only space for one exotic spicy gourmand in my scent drawer.
Recently I bought Jungle in a drunk blind buying spree. Like a lot of things you do under the influence, I have regrets. Many people here talk about this masterpiece as a winter Christmas scent, and if that’s true I’m stuck at a relatives house and I need to get out.
At least that’s how I felt for the first 30 minutes.
The opening is heavy handed, evoking a 1990s perfume. After clove, cumin, licorice and caraway die down I really like it. For me, Jungle is a cold weather scent, it projects too intensely for it to work in warm weather.
I like the drydown when vanilla and floral notes appear and stay. And I look forward to wearing this again later in the year. Would I buy it again? Probably not. That opening is something to be experienced. I will admit that it’s got longevity going for it, lasting over 8 hours on me.

Spicy gourmand, bubblegum (ylang) and gothic vibe. It seems there’s a chaos of notes. It could become boring.
Reminds me a joking Opium by YsL

  41. :

    5 out of 5

It seems that soooo many people consider this a winter/Christmas perfume, and I understand why, but it’s anything but a cold weather scent on me. I’ve tried-and hated-this so many times in frigid winter temperatures. It smelled exactly how another reviewer mentioned it, like potpourri and candle wax. Finally, I decided to try Jungle in milder weather and yes!! I finally “get” this! Now it’s a melange of warm and cool spices, not hot resinous spices like in YSL Opium, Jungle is unlike anything else I’ve smelled. A juxtaposition of sweet and spicy, warm and cold, sharp and soft. The closest thing I can compare it to is a cold, spiced bowl of rice pudding. I don’t know if it’s a love quite yet, but it’s so yummy and intriguing, I keep sniffing my wrist. I’m not usually into spicy scents, but it has enough of a gourmand kick for me to really enjoy it, it’s so much fun to wear! So in conclusion, if you’ve only tried this in cold weather and were disappointed, break the rules and try it in warmer weather-you might be pleasantly surprised 🙂

    My Elephant & I.
    Friends since 2008.
We travelled the world & we could spend a lifetime together.
I need its strength & warm aura.
My Elephant is feeding me a sweet & ripe mango.
It gives me the mildest & the most exotic scent of cinnamon, vanilla & cloves.
    It fills me up.
It´s bringing me the most fragrant flowers ever.
And I´m doing nothing for my Elephant – I just love it.
Truly & deeply, right to the end.

Spicy and a bit animalic in the first half hour, I could see why this is called L’Elephant. But this changed drastically, becoming a rich, full bodied flowery scent, quite sweet and a bit powdery, clean and with a subtle fruitiness. After this change, it stays pretty much linear and the words that would suit it are sweet, creamy, floral, powdery, vanilic. This would be quite nice on a woman.
    Scent: 6.5/10
    Longevity: 9/10
    Projection: 7/10

    Pros: – the bottle
    – it is unique, you will not have smelled anything quite like it
It opens to dated, musty stale potpourri, or as other have stated, a dusty Christmas candle. The candle melts into a heavily buttered baked potato. When your skin eats the potato, there are spiced vanilla fruits in a way that reminds me of Histoies de Perfume or perhaps Tilda Swinton.
I love spiced scents normally. I have been wearing this in the heat which does not seem to suit. I will try again when it cools off

Just as many others have said this perfume is a masterpiece!! It’s divine!!! I want to smell like this and have it in my collection forever! This perfume is so good that I’ve been looking into other perfumes crafted by the brilliant Dominique Ropion.
I don’t know how he did it but all the notes blend together to create a long-lasting beautiful scent that I love from beginning to end. I typically dislike the smell and taste of liquorice and clove and I dislike most fruity scents. But I love it and I could bathe in it.
I don’t find it too strong or powerful. It lasts a very long time and I love that. It stays spicy and vanilla like chia tea on my skin. So Beautiful!

If there are community guidelines to trying Kenzo’s L’elephant, I think they could be summarized as “buy a sample, spray once in the privacy of your home”. I followed this guideline, and dipped my toe in kenzo’s proverbial water before going for a skinny dip.
There are a few notes in l’elephant that I have found to be in too much in other perfumes. Clove. Clove in my jo Malone Velvet rose oud ruins it for me. Somehow the clove made it too heavy. I had made a mental note to avoid clove. Patchouli has a similar effect to my nose. Mostly it reminds me of Bohemianism in a unfavorable way- like patchouli turns a spicy perfume into something Burt Reynolds would’ve worn in the 70’s. When it’s blended in perfumes like flowerbomb, it makes an otherwise light blend, unpleasantly thick and heavy. The third challenging note is cumin. Cumin in annick goutal’s Ninfeo Mio is blended with lemon and smells like clean sweat. In Feminite du Bois, it smells like a pair of dirty underwear. Not appealing.
The three challenging notes are perfect in l’elephant!
I get two primary faces of l’elephant. It always opens with heavy clove and mango. When I first smelled it, the clove was so strong I felt my front teeth go numb. The next phase is sometimes mulling spices, but usually it’s a seat right in front of fireplace with a root beer float. I was very surprised to find the cumin, caraway, and cardamom blend with the cashmere wood to create the smell of fresh wood heating in a fireplace- like the waves of heat that float out. The clove, licorice and vanilla are my root beer float.
Sometimes the more background notes rise to the top and sing a little higher than usual. One day I got a stronger than usual note of ylang ylang, and it turned the root beer float to a banana split. Another day the patchouli heightened and created a subtle tone of humid earthy fresh soil. And still other days, I notice the delicate floral notes.
Like I mentioned before, I started by spraying this at home. Then I gingerly sprayed once at work. I sprayed it on my sleeve, and asked for a coworker who didn’t notice it until I brought my sleeve to his nose. I repeated the experiment with another coworker with same result. I got bolder later, and let loose 5 or 6 sprays. This time I was asked what I was wearing and told how great I smelled by an entire table of coworkers. At lunch time, I was told again that I smelled really good. It’s worth noting though, that I work in the music industry and everyone approving my fragrance choice is of “alternative” tastes.
Longevity is great with l’elephant, probably 24 hours. I got a 3.3 oz bottle for around $50. For a high quality unique perfume this is a total deal.
    L’elephant is a major love.
