All the original Indi lovers on here will be hating on my reveiw for that one right now, I came, I saw, I couldn’t stand it.
But this one is different.
I find it lacks any real sweetness at all, which is actually a big plus for me.
Theres a little of that strange nauseatingly sweet coconut in the beginning ( Katy, I’m a fan of your fragrances but you really need to improve on your coconut)
but that fades quickly and becomes powdery, slightly spicy with a hint of white floral.
Its quite unique for a celebrity scent. The rum note was reminding me of something i just couldn’t think of, it bugged me for ages and then i realised its the same spiced rum smell thats in Tom Ford’s Velvet orchid, and no, Im not saying the two perfumes smell alike, they don’t in any way. But just that one note; syrupy thick, dark slightly spicy. Its actually quite well done in this. Mixed with the sandalwood, patchoulli and pepper it’s a really smooth oriental.
For the notes listed Im just suprised that its so soft; a combo like this i thought would be quite heavy but it really doesn’t project all that much. It stayed on my skin for nearly a whole day though, but as a close skin scent.
When the price comes down a bit I’ll think about a full bottle

Far be it from me to be backwards when praise is due: this is stunning. A very, very long lasting sultry fragrance with what smells like decent quality ingredients. Vanilla, sugar and Malibu rum. Really, really delicious. I really want to buy this when I can afford it.
Edit: Plus that plum and gardenia… oomph. I found myself thinking of 4160 Tuesdays fragrances when I wore this. The musk in the dry down is akin to a Rodriguez. Really well done.

Very pleasing, very nice perfume. It really is well blended and truly lovely. I can describe it as sweetly floral-woody with high amount of Coumarin – giving it that sandalwood/tonka/coconut scent, it melds with skin and has a powdery, fluffy and yet silky creamy feel to it. it does have ‘Indi’ dna in there, but this is more ‘perfumey’. it would appeal to all age groups, the people behind this did a great job. Try it for easy to wear crowd pleasing perfume.

Musk, coconut, tonka bean, gardenia, vanilla were prominent in the first half of the drying process. The composition is pretty creamy, “warm” and a tat “spicy” actually (because of tonka bean, sandal wood and pink pepper?!). I got a light rum and plum here and there from the opening. They were nice but did not stand out vividly enough, and then the wood took over in the complete dry down. But that’s ok, as they did contribute enough of their parts in the composition. NO patchouli whatsoever.
I love Indi, and Indi Visible is just a little different with softer “woodsy” scent and lighter. I like it very much as it is quite interesting. The “boozy” coconut here is blending in beautifully with musk, tonka bean, creamy gardenia and wood, unlike many “milky” coconut in suntan lotion or body spray.
Indi Visible also projected well on my skin with satisfying sillage and longevity. I would wear Indi in cooler/colder months and Indi Visible year round. I’m glad that I blind bought the biggest size bottles for both. Meow, Indi, and now Indi Visible are my top 3 favorite from Katy Perry’s.

Straight up coconut oil.
Ultra-sweet and buttery.

I get a boatload of musk and a slight coconut and vanilla scent with this. I am not picking up the rum nor any of the other notes. I don’t find this long lasting, so I’m surprised to see it currently voted as long lasting. Not tremendous sillage, either. There is something off and cheap-smelling going on with this one to me, and smells like a cheap body mist or one of those cheap generic discount frag’s from the five and dime that they had boatloads of at Christmas and are still trying to Clearance come Valentines Day (sorry). I think if I had to briefly describe this one, I would say a creamy musk, at best. Maybe this one just doesn’t play nicely with my skin.

What can I say? This one from Perry is delightful! It’s what I thought her Mad Potion was going to smell like (that one was a huge fail). I also have her regular Indi and liked it but it was just a bit too coconut for me. This one is light and scrumptious at the same time. It opens with a blast of boozy white flowers, and softens down into a lovely plummy, musky, vanilla. I don’t get as much coconut here YAY!! I do wish the patch stood out a bit more, but if you’re not a fan of patch you will not need to be scared of this! Unlike some of her other perfumes the sillage and longevity are both great! Awesome one from Katy!
Scent 10/10
Sillage 7/10
Longevity 8/10

I blind bought this, and Indi, in the Body Mist form, from Walgreens.com. I’m not getting rum or coconut, just a rich vanilla to start with. The vanilla lightens up a wee bit and I get a hint of flower, but nothing as strong/distinct as gardenia. The patchouli is nowhere to be seen, and I’m grateful for this.
Tremendous sillage and lasting. Lovely, warm, accessible, brings you closer.
(Note not at all regarding this fragrance: since I’ve reached The Pause, I’ve found that so many perfumes smell unappealing to me or on me. As such, I’ve been dropping big bucks on perfumes I almost immediately hate. From now on, I’m only buying body mists. Cheap enough to rotate them in and out, and it’s not a moneybomb if I don’t like them.)

The name and package suggest unisex scent, cools be cool if it was the marketing idea.. wish they made an effort more in interesting unisex scents.

I saw it first! Aiming for 1 oz. then eventual 3.3 oz. This line has become my top four.
