Heartbreaking. Depression is a serious illness. My hear goes out to her 13 year old daughter.

Very green. The note pyramid says lotv but it smells like real oakmoss to me. Had my eye on a vintage and got it. Glad i did. The greenness mostly what i detect for the first 2 hours. After that the white florals reveal themselves more. Jasmine is the strongest with gardenia coming in second. Gets tropical in the drydown when the green has faded a lot. It has a big green classic feel to me. Not getting coconut but it could be in there in the drydown. Maybe hotter weather would bring that out. It’s been cold spring weather lately for me. So far i see this as a very green white floral suitable for winter, cold spring and fall.

Kate Spade, now a designer of earphones that sell at Best Buy, has a gorgeous absolutely beautiful perfume!
I was enchanted by this fragrance.
This is going to be hard to find as it has been discontinued but if you’re determined to get your hands on it, look for it on ebay or rummage sales near you!
This is a linear scent with primarily white floral notes: tuberose, gardenia, jasmine, lily of the valley. I will also add that it has a “white” theme including the white milk in coconut, like coconut juice. A sweet honeysuckle provides it with a sweetness that might have otherwise turned into a green floral scent of lily of the valley leaves.
This perfume is a bit on the tropical “day wear” side. I don’t get the association with weddings at all despite the fact that it has all the typical white florals. I happen to like these particular white flowers so for me this is bliss, even when it can get strong. I love gardenias, tuberoses, jasmines and lilies. This is White Flower Heaven for me.
It is still very floral and as such one would associate this fragrance with mature ladies. This is not as bad as you think when you thihnk “white floral”. Far from being anything like GIORGIO BEVERLY HILLS, it’s a little more like a softer and more buttery JUNGLE GARDENIA. A creamy white tuberose that turns into something like a sweet scented eggplant comes through the chemical mix.
A very rich and heady perfume, something out of another era, classic, creamy, sweet & sophisticated. I detected musk and a light cedar wood and vanilla at the dry down. At that point the fragrance becomes progressively more powdery. It’s a good dry down of vanilla.
Beautiful, but it’s such a shame they don’t bring it back or reformulate it. For you celebrity frag fans, this is going to wear like Kim Kardashian or Madonna Truth or Dare. So if you like those scents, check this one out.

Gorgeous white floral perfume. Oh it’s got gardenia tuberose and jasmine to spare. Very strong but very nice. It smells very expensive and totally getting the wedding perfume connection. There is a honeysuckle and coconut that make it less appealing to me but it’s still very nice. The lily of the valley is also prominent and I love how it smells in this perfume. This is a green and white colored scent very floral and very long lasting. It’s elegant and classy. I love it!

    WEDDING PERFUME
My friend Charita thank you. This is a fantastic fragrance. It’s modern and very wearable for today but has a vintage floral feel to it. This reminds me of Jungle Gardenia and Fracas. It’s a wedding perfume. This is a white floral bouquet, white wedding gown fragrance. A bride can totally put this on when she walks down the aisle and leave behind an enchanting fragrance. The white flowers that are dominant in the heart of this fragrance: gardenia, tuberose, and lily of the valley. The jasmine is cleverly combined with coconut. It turns somewhat tropical but not as much as Jungle Gardenia. The honeysuckle is warm, sweet and heady. This is such a beautiful and romantic fragrance. If you’re big on white floral fragrances this is definitely for you. I love white flowers and really love this perfume. The only thing better would be to have less white flowers lol..maybe a violet, lavender or heliotrope accord. And for today’s market, amber and vanilla. But this appears to have been made before the gourmand mania took over the business. But I’m so happy that Kate Spade followed the classic formula for a white floral and did not use vanilla cinnamon or any other gourmand ingredient. This is strictly a floral fragrance that oozes feminine beauty, charm, romance and class. If it had heavier aldehydes and woodsy notes it could totally pass for one of the Chanels, namely Chanel No. 22. But this is so unique, so different from any fragrance selling today. If you’re a woman about to get married, and having a hard time looking for a fragrance to wear on your big day, this is perfect. As a perfumer/nose I’ve come across women that have an easier time finding the right wedding gown but never the right fragrance. And on that day of your wedding you should be smelling of white flowers. Please give this one a try.

Phone keeps freezing, so I will make this short:
This was a gorgeous and nearly flawless white floral. Gardenia was accurate, honeysuckle often came shining through, and the Jasmine and tuberose were both creamy and fabulous. I could never wear it all the time because it was so rich that it could sometimes give me headaches, but it is one of my all-time favorites regardless of that. When I DID wear it, I was in a cloud of petals all day long. Sillage was moderate to heavy, and longevity was ridiculously long. I could spray a half spray once and smell gorgeous for an entire day and most of the evening.
I still actually have a bottle, but I had a summer with no air conditioning, and it’s not the same anymore. The fluid is much darker, and although the perfume still smells very nice, I’m basically just getting a “blurry” gardenia muddled with a flower stew. There’s not as much freshness, and I don’t find myself going, “oh! There’s the honeysuckle now!” I can’t believe the fragrance still smells as good as it does, and I’ll still wear it, but I miss the clarity it had. Just sexy, classic, old money in a bottle.

This was once my signature scent. It is beautiful, harmonious and elegant. I had three bottles on hand, and one of them started to turn 🙁 I gave the aging one to a friend of mine, who gobbled it up. She used the 1/2 bottle in no time. I am left with two 1.7 oz bottles, the body oil spray and several body butters. I am savoring them! Each time I wear this, I receive so many compliments. LOVE this. I wish Kate would bring this back to her lineup!

Those looking for a similar fragrance might like to try out Frederic Malle’s En Passant. It’s not identical, but shares some of the same qualities.

OK everyone, get jealous. My friend just found a basically full 1.7 oz of this at the thrift store… And paid $6.95. She called me to tell me she was on her way home and had seen a perfume but didn’t buy it and after it developed now she was thinking of going back. Got off the phone with her, looked it up, called her back. BUY IT! This she did. I sampled upon her return (I am the roomie). Smells awesome, but very familiar. Molinard jasmine? No, waaaay too sweet. And then I realized, then sprayed, american beauty beloved. Yes, this is it. Very similar. Only diff is a little more water fruity sweet. I dont know why but i wondered if jovan wht musk on top would be more similar, but i couldnt find it. Beloved is my all time fave. Another disc’td. But alas, it is easier and cheaper to find than KS. I couldn’t believe the prices they were going for!!!
KS is a beautiful, white floral ultimate. Oh how I love my wht florals. This is what I would call perfection in that category of what I like. Just the right amt of sweet and even tho its not listed, smells like there’s a small bit of musk or amber or something to add a tad warmth in the base. Beautiful!! And to think, she almost bought it for me. Lol

After paying outrageous prices on Ebay for this discontinued Kate Spade Beauty perfume, I was forced to find a replacement and I have! Estee Lauder Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia. My boyfriend loved Kate Spade and has a very sensitive nose. I sprayed both on a piece of paper and asked if he could tell the difference. The first time he mistook the Estee Lauder for the Kate Spade. After a second sniff he could tell them apart but they are that close. I wish Kate Spade would bring it back, but I doubt they will. I’ve been forced to move on and the Estee Lauder Tuberose Gardenia is a good replacement.

In 2003 I discovered this amazing fragrance and it became my signature. People would stop me in the street and ask what I was wearing! I was devastated when it was no longer available. Last year my daughter was standing at the train station and she smelled my scent but it was not me. She turned to the woman standing next to her and asked if she was wearing Kate Spade. The woman said no, it was her replacement for Kate Spade – Serge Lutens Fleurs D’oranger. A week later I received a package from my daughter with a bottle of the perfume. As I opened the gift I could smell a familiar scent and have worn it ever since. Serendipity!

I loved this scent as well and was sad to see it discontinued. I find that Estee Lauder’s Beyond Paradise is very similar, and frankly, better. Kind of feel like KS ripped off this classic fragrance, after smelling it.

This is my favorite floral. It is fresh and green and sunny and real. It smells like our native jasmine—the sampaguita. It is beautiful and enchanting. Very well constructed.

Lindablount you can try Carolina di Mazzolari wich is not included in the directory of Fragrantica, but many people say that is very similar to this one of Kate Spade. Fruity and Floral Tuberose, delicious. Give it a try!

Sadly this was discontinued, apparently around the same time that Twirl was launched. Kate’s original scent was produced in partnership with Estee Lauder. After Spade’s brand ultimately ended up in the hands of Liz Claiborne, the company partnered with Elizabeth Arden to make Twirl which I find to be generic and forgettable.
The original scent though seems a bit more mature but in no way dated or matronly. It’s so rich with harmonious notes and the staying power is amazing without being overpowering. I’m going to treasure the amount I have left and keep a nose out for a honeysuckle based fragrance that mixed the flower as well as this one did.
I will miss this scent terribly!

I love this perfume!! I just wish I can find it someplace in the UK! The jasmine fragrance is like none other. Normally, Jasmine leaves you with a very heavy, heady, headache causing sensation. This is so beautifully rounded off and there is nothing like this! A full 5 points for this baby!

Is this fragrance discontinued? I haven’t been able to find it anywhere in months! I would be utterly heartbroken! This has been my signature fragrance for years, even my kids identify me by it!

Does anyone know who created this stunning perfume ? Claude Dir created Twirl but for this one I can’t find any reliable info.

I am so surprised to see Kate Spade parfume here, last year it wasn’t on the list. i can’t believe that there isn’t even one review about this gorgeous parfume. in my opinion it is the best fragrance cocktail of jasmine and lily of the valley ever. My Bravo to everyone who worked on it!!!!!
it is soooooo sexy, sophisticated, very unique and extremly long lasting.
i am a huge fan of Lilly of the valley and jasmine, so ever since i used this parfume ( which was 5 years ago) i can’t find anything which is even close to it.
such a shame that i can’t buy it where i live. i see there is a new parfume coming out, can’t wait to smell it.
