I have had this for years. I rarely wear it (don’t want to run out since it was discontinued).
Vanilla is very prominent in this one. I also keep getting patchouli. Anyone else???
I love this when layered w/ Euphoria. They feed off each other nicely. Gives it something unique.
Moderation is the key to this one. Also seems to be better suited for evening wear.

This is still somewhat available for reasonable prices on Ebay, thanks to a recent mini re-release by Avon a couple years back (travel size purse spray). This one opens with spices, leather, vanilla, and just a smidge of white pepper. I don’t LOVE the pepper note but it is fleeting so I’m ok with it. 5 sprays and you get about 6-7 hours of wear from this one and the drydown is a yummy vanilla-leather hybrid (more vanilla really–but not foody). Very sexy and a bit sultry with the entire combo of notes. As with almost everyone, I’m sad they discontinued this one as the notes and longevity make it a real gem.

I loved this scent….I DID manage to stock up on it when my Rep. said it was being discontinued…:( But on another note, Britney Spears first perfume – ‘Curious’ reminds ME so much of this scent. I definitely agree with kjauderer’s review.

This is such a cozy scent…the leather & the spices give it an exotic feel, while the vanilla gives it a sweet feel to it. Love it!!

Probably the edgiest of Avon’s fragrances. It’s beautiful and sexy with a strong leather note. It’s a true oriental that’s best in the cooler months. As the fragrance develops, it just gets better and better. The leather scent settles in and out come the spices, vanilla and the black currant. Sillage and Longevity, very good. You would never guess it is from mild mannered Avon. Sadly, it’s discontinued and as another reviewer mentioned, it’s in high demand.

I wish I had stocked up on this beautiful gem when I was an Avon rep. Now it is discontinued and the price is through the roof. It’s such a warm, woodsy, sultry scent! Just beautiful!

Yes, it’s exotic and peppery. I’ve been an Avon rep as well, but I am partial to the Mark line, since it is innovative and quirky.I expected Lady Gaga’s fame to be at least this compelling, but Karmala is so much more intricate.

I wore this scent for several years, and I absolutely adore it! The white pepper note is very prominent in this one, and I feel as if this could successfully serve as a unisex scent. Admittedly, it does have an almost masculine vibe to it; however, I am not hardnosed about pigeonholing scents as being either for women or for men. For me it evokes a Middle Eastern feel; it is lush and spicy, yet cunningly sweet, with a heavy, almost smoky, incense note. To steal a Sheldon-ism, this fragrance makes me feel “as if my head were trapped in the pajamas of a sultan,” and I mean that in the best possible way. If anyone has read the yaoi “Black Sun,” this is what I imagine Jamal would have smelled like. 🙂
I am an Avon Rep, but that has no bearing on my opinion of this scent. There are plenty of scents that Avon produces that are downright yucky. (I am referring to you, Timeless and Candid.)

I am admittedly a bit nostalgic about this one, as I wore this on my first date with my (now) husband. It is one of the more “mature” scents from Avon’s Mark line. It is a sweet Oriental, but looking back on it, I agree with the pencil shavings dry down!

A beautiful scent. It’s sexy…a little bit spicy and a little bit sweet. Strong Tahitian vanilla note. I like the white pepper/pink cassis that blends into a sort of spicy incense-like scent. Decent staying power. Wish there were more of it available!

This smelled terrific on my Avon rep, but not on me. It was sweet, fruity, a bit peppery, everything I like, except it developed an overwhelming note of pencil shavings on me. I always think this note comes from cedar, but I don’t see cedar, or any other wood note listed. Odd. I’d love it without the pencil shavings.
