Reminds me of a sweet, non-screechy version of Ivanka Trump. It also reminds me of a cross between Taylor Swift and Sofia Vergara Tempting Paradise. I smell a sort of peach-pineapple blend. I don’t really notice coconut, unless it’s the hint of coolness and freshness the underlies the fragrance. I’m liking it!

In search for a coconut – summer type fragrance, I took the leap and ordered this on ebay as a blind buy. I had a cold when I first received the package, and almost rejected this – until trying this a new day and realizing the value of it.
A note to the wise, make sure you are feeling well – and a cold, allergies, asthma could really throw you off. Try fragrances on a day when you are really open to smelling the full ambiance of a fragrance!
    ———–
This is tropical, it goes on as a very strong blast… so I’m being careful not to pre-judge this by the first initial spray.
I was at first repulsed by the first blast of this –
There was a sharp “shampoo-like” blast that hit my nostrils in a way where I immediately wanted to discount this, and pass on it… even possibly dash to the sink and wash this off.
But I’ve learned over the years that just because I may not initially like the first blast of the spray, it may grow to become more likable on the skin… given the time.
About 10-15 minutes into this, a delicious blend of coconut emerges…. almost like a sun-kissed variety of coconut used in tanning lotions… only this seems like it is slightly toasted coconut, like that in a dessert dish found in an upper crust restaurant. This coconut carmelizes on the skin – into a delicious broth that sits just on top of the skin, luring you in.
An hour into wearing this – and there is a discernable note that forms the “hook” — yes, very similar to a catchy song that has your mind repeating the verses after you have turned the volume off. It is almost like someone beckoning you to come closer, because they have a secret to tell you. This arrives like a whisper… (it doesn’t whap you over the head and drag you back to the cave- like a lof of the overly LOUD fragrances of the 1980’s).
This is more refined – and has a soft alluring quality – as if someone is laying a careful trap to draw you in. (Yes – it has a sexy vibe to it… definitely). This is not an innocent, beachy scent. This is purposeful – like a cat carefully choosing its prey. — I can totally “get” the cheetah print vibe here… although I didn’t initially smell that the first hour of wear. This sneaks up on you – like a cat stalking its prey! LOL…
I’ve been watching the Jennifer Lopez fragrance reviews – and more often than not, the people who write reviews on her fragrances always give her some great compliments on the blends that she uses in her perfumes. This is definitely one of “those” fragrances. This is unexpectedly delicious – and really draws me in. I can’t wait to see how this will be perceived by some of my male friends… they have a completely different reaction to fragrances… probably based on hormones.
I made the mistake of first wearing this and trying this in the middle of a summer cold. Don’t do this. I almost made the mistake of rejecting it, simply based on the fact that my nose was “off” due to the complexities of sniffles, coughing – and not being able to really capture the essence because of my cold.
    ———
Now that this has been on my skin about 20 minutes, I’m loving this.
It is really turning into an alluring and sexy fragrance.
The coconut and caramel fragrance bring up memories of beach sunsets – turning into dusk. The beautiful rays blending into the sand and waves.
    An hour into this –
This is coming in with a clear sexual vibe –
There is an undercurrent that is edgy and dangerous…with the way that this fragrance sets up on the skin and caramelizes into a sexy broth.
This is sexy, summery, and very alluring.
I’m so glad that I’m giving this another “go”… because it would have been a huge mistake to have sent this one back.
This could definitely become one of my favorite summer fragrances. It has a great blend of coconut and I love the way that it caramelizes into an irresistible broth that hovers slightly above the skin.
An inch or two away from the skin – this registers “ocean”….but if you get closer to the skin, this is where you notice the subtle interplay of the “hook” on the skin… something that definitely draws you in.
Great so far! Loving it! ; )

Advertisement – The fur coat is not the best image for this perfume.
I love Jennifer Lopez, but I think that this ad is off. I don’t like seeing the fur coat with this fragrance. This is more of a beachy-type fragrance. The fur coat is over-kill, and besides – there are too many animal advocates that would object to a fur coat. Keep your ads free from that. Sometimes you have to be “politically correct” to make more sales… and the perfume and cosmetic industry is riddled with the “no animal testing” sentiments. I’d much prefer to see Jennifer walking on the beach – than wrapped in a fur coat, even if it is only a faux fur.

JLove is a nice summer fragrance. I mostly get the tangerine, the tiare, the orchid and the sorbet too. It’s fruity, floral, sweet, summery, exotic, soft, feminine. Love the bottle and the leopard cap on it!

Obviously a summer scent, the orange stand out the most, with a little hint of coconut. Kinda remind me of Ralph Rocks. The bottle is pretty well made, maybe because i am a sucker for square bottle lol. Good job JLo for this one. So sad i can not find JLuxe and JLust

Love this fragrance, just wish it lasted longer. That’s the problem with fruity florals, they are light and fade. Kohl’s only carries the 1 oz too which is frustrating I HATE buying those sizes. It’s really fruity and summery. There is something odd about the jlove and lux it’s like they are made of different quality from the rest of her other fragrances like glow, still, live ect like these are exclusive to Kohl’s I dunno but either way I love jlove just wish I had more options on size and value

Totally in love with this fragrance
    Sweet fruity summery fragance
The lasting power is 8 hours
    The silage is amazing

I have owned and liked several of Jlo’s fragrances, but this is not one of them. Although it’s better than JLust, it’s just shampooey, and not interesting …meh.

  9. :

    4 out of 5

Most of Jen´s perfumes are listed in the ´Soapy´category.
THIS on the other hand is ´shampooey´….
which means it cant really be offensive.
I have a 30ml bottle which is enough.
    Nothing groundgreaking here.
The ad has absolutely NOTHING to do with the juice.
Neither the fur or her overall look.
Deseos ad is more like it.

I usually hate fragrances that have top note of “sweet”. They can be repulsive like cotton candy scents This is sweet but not nauseating tropical but can be worn in the fall. Very elegant such a low low price to smell this expensive. Jennifer Lopez does it again. I could do without the square bottle. But hey $8.95 for 1oz of this amazing smelling juice I’ll deal with it.

I have had the 50ml perfume, and body lotion for 2 years now, I bought the gift set from Kohl’s, I recently bought the body mist of this. This is a great summer perfume, could easily be a signature perfume in the summer. What I smell most on first spray is the tangerine, back by pineapple, and coconut, which reminds me of coconut water, may be due to the water lily, or orchid? I do smell a slight sorbet at times as well. I really like the mix of coconut, and tiare flower in perfume, but the tiare isn’t that noticeable in this perfume, and body mist. I wish the coconut, and tiare flower rounded out the fruitiness more, for me the perfume can be ” too fruity ” at times, that’s why I bought the mist, which on me is a little better, but is still very fruity, I do get a coconut water smell from the body mist once it dries down. This isn’t my favorite summer perfume. I think JlOVE could easily fit into the Escada range of summer perfumes. I wouldn’t mind a flanker of this ” JLOVE ” ( not what’s already been released since this perfume came out ) I want this re done with the fruits toned down in intensity, and bring out the coconut, and tiare more, then ” JLOVE ” would be the perfect summer perfume. Overall I give JLOVE 7/10.

Just one month before the official arrival of Summer in Greece I decided to purchase a new perfume for the Summer. During my walk, I came across in a new cosmetics store that I had never been before and I decided to have a go, as a change to my usual store (i.e. Sephora). There I discovered I massive collection of perfumes (some of them I had never seen them in another store like Sephora ever before) and I was really surprised. Although it is a big store with a large stock of perfumes and toiletries I am not 100% sure if the stock it carries is genuine or not but in good faith I want to believe that everything was/is original. Bearing that in mind, I decided to try perfumes that I had never seen before such as JLove. Unfortunately a tester was not available, so I checked the notes here on Fragrantica, it seemed ok so I blindly purchased it. To the point now, I can not say that I am excited about it. It is quite fruity indeed like most celebrity perfumes with nothing special about it. I can not distinguish a single note and the duration is average (around 3 hours). This is the third time that I am purchasing a perfume by Jlo and I can not say that I am very happy with her perfumes. Thank God at least this one does not contain guava, a note that I can not stand it (I had a very bad experience with Love and Glamour some years ago). Jlove, is certainly a casual perfume, I would wear it in the gym, and indoors (inside the house, in order to consume it) but not in other occasions….When it comes to perfumes it is a very subjective matter but I am not sure if with Jlove I would get compliments as I get with other ones….
P.S. Update I would like to kindly ask any other owner of the fragrance about the duration of the perfume. I know that duration is very subjective matter as it is affected by other factors too but this will help me to a decision making about the shop that I got it from, if it sells original products or not. (I have bought 2 fragrances from the specific shop in Greece, and they do not last on me more than 3, 4 hours). Thank you very much for your time and attention.

A very nice, soft and sweet scent. I like the initial scent very much, but within a few minutes it becomes such a whisper that it doesn’t seem worthwhile wearing. I have other perfumes that I prefer to this and didn’t see myself reaching for it often, so I gave it to a friend who really likes it too, and will probably actually wear it. I like to see nice perfume going to good use 🙂
JLo perfume-wise, in the past I had LA Glow that I liked very much. And my favourite by Jenny from the block is Glowing, which I think is totally underrated. I adore it.

This smells like a fruity bowl of ice cream. I can’t pick out an exact stand out fruit in this, they all mix together. The sorbet is always there though, and it makes it smell very yummy and like a desert! You can smell the tiare flower peaking through at times, but mainly, it’s fruity ice cream! A safe blind buy for fruit-lovers, gourmand-lovers will probably like this and it’s a summer scent!

i finally decided i was going to buy J.Love and im so glad i did. This definitely reminds me of Viva La Juicy but the only difference is this has pineapple and coconut instead of berries and caramel like Viva La Juicy…this is such a summer scent i could see myself with a margarita on the beach relaxing while i read a book wearing this perfume. Its like a summer tropical version of Viva La Juicy (which is more fall) but i can wear it all year around of course…its like coconut, raspberries and pineapple, it is very sweet and plesant.

JLove is a love. I know I can sound harsher than I intend when it comes to JLO perfumes. I want them to be stronger but apparently Jennifer Lopez doesn’t like heavy fragrance and prefers ultra sheer/light. Sometimes they seem unoriginal in the Glow flankers area but she does have a lot of variety for a celebrity and I do go to her bottles often. I can spray and with so many offerings there is no worry about wasting any one. Now I still can’t find the feel for JLuxe or JLust. I sampled more than once at Kohl’s and just keep feeling that someone has lost creativity. JLove is different. I don’t think I’m so fond of pineapple but I seem to really like every one of my bottles that has it. I love when JLO uses grapefruit and she does here. I like coconut and tirare flower for that tropical effect. These notes appeal to me as does the overall composition. Jennifer Lopez can never be accused of being too girly girly and there’s something about the maturiy of her offerings that makes up for a sometimes synthetic product. Hey, I have almost all of them .. but there are really only so many floral fruity combos. JLove keeps JLO in the game for me.

I’d expected a big juicy burst of sweet citrus, from the notes this one claims. What I experienced was more like a slight “spritz” of sweet citrus, on a creamy, fuzzy bed of something that smells precisely like osmanthus, to me… that telltale apricot-skin effect that is osmanthus. I don’t know what could be giving that impression, maybe the orchid and fruits together? I don’t get much pineapple, if any. Same goes with the “sorbet” note, which is initially what had me hooked on wanting JLove. The coconut is subtle but nice. The vanilla/musk/woods base is lovely, but I would want it to be more of a base than a constant from top to bottom- all of that contributes to this fragrance being more creamy than juicy, to me… and the wood in this leans peppery, almost like the sandalwood in a men’s fragrance. Again, not all unpleasant… quite likeable, actually, just not what I expected. I’ll reach for it, I’m sure, when I’m in the mood for a slightly juicier take on Katy Perry’s Royal Revolutuion.

JLove is a nice every day fragrance, and there’s nothing in it that I find disagreeable. But there’s nothing in it that makes this fragrance stand out from the sea of other fruity/florals that are on the market – more fruity then floral, with sweet citrus & berries, quiet powdered florals, and musk-infused vanilla; this scent is like walking through a department store’s beauty hall, as it smells like so many other things already available.
JLove scores some brownie points with me because I have a weakness for coconut & there is a long note of creamy coconut in here, that lasts all the way through the fragrance. The musk in it is a lot lighter then what is usual in J.Lo fragrances too, so that is another plus for me. However the pineapple is undetectable on me, and the florals remain largely hidden so I can’t seperate any of them, which is disappointing.
If you collect J.Lo fragrances this will make a pleasant addition. Everyone else? I don’t think there’s anything here that stands out – it reminds me the most of Victoria by Victoria’s Secret and Beyonce’s Heat Wild Orchid, except that I don’t find the florals as wishy washy in those, so I’d personally recommend tying them over JLove.

After her very first perfume Glow which I used to own and love, the rest of her perfumes even grossed me out Had high hopes for this one. Smelled quite interesting on me at first abit childish, like something id drink, but that pineapple and tangerine are too intense.. an hour later it smelled like something that would repel mosquitos.

I purchased this perfume when it was first released & then I misplaced it. I recently come across it again and have been loving it all over again! It does smell like Viva La Juicy mixed with Beyoncé Heat Rush. It’s a very fruity scent, which I love. One of my friends always tells me I smell like an orange Tic-Tac when ever I wear it. I really enjoy it and is one of my favorites from J-Lo. Now, I am hoping that JLuxe, is just as good.

  24. :

Was really looking forward to this, the reviews are good and Im a big fan of most of JLos fragrances.
Im not really geting the coconut and vanilla unfortunately, which is what I was most excited about to be honest!
The Orange gives a fantastic fresh opening and is rather natural! its zesty like youve just sliced into a big fat orange!
The pineapple is very strong and stays for quite a while. Its a good pineapple though – I find in alot of scents its quite sharp and sour but here its a nice juicy sweet fresh pineapple!
Then the florals begin to shine through and they are beautiful and delicate with a hint of sweetness from the fruit and orchid. Tis is where I wanted some coconut – but alas Im not smelling it 🙁
The dry down is rather linear to me, it all disapeers a bit too sudden which is a shame. Im not sure what others can smell though – this requires more testing for sure.
I would say its perfect for hot summer months as a freshen up or a workout scent. But maybe the weather will play a big part in this, so I will keep trying!

So I live in the UK and was unable to find this anywhere for a reasonable price. When I was on holiday in Canada I found it for $20 which is like £10. I had to grab it as I would never get it for that price anywhere else. I love the smell of this !! I love the coconut, floral citruses in this. This is an Eau De Parfum and last for about 12-13 hours on my skin (I wore it home from Canada to Scotland) This gets a 10/10 from me ! JLo please make more fragrances like this one x

Just recently, I have found myself enjoying fragrances featuring coconut….And I must say, J Lo creates a pleasing one!
JLOVE is a very subtle and well balanced blend of soft, feminine flowers, juicy tropical fruits and of coarse creamy coconut, with a pinch of vanilla
This is a scent that no doubt, radiates beautifully off warm skin in the heat of summer, yet as the add suggests, (Jeniffer is wearing fur) JLOVE was actually created with cooler weather in mind. Yes! this is absolutely a multi-seasonal frag and that’s the beauty of the coconut note.
So, as much as I am enjoying JLOVE in the HOT, desert, Las Vegas summer, I definitely plan on continuing this yummy, sexy little coconut skin scent well into the cooler monthes ahead.

very bad, just like all the celebrity fragrances ,
and it smells 100% like pink friday by nicki mianj which i hate because it’s not original and unique at all.

  28. :

    4 out of 5

This is Viva La Juicy without the Caramel and added citrus. It starts out with a sweet citrus twang and as it gets softer the citrus stays there with just a slight hint of musk. I enjoy this fragrance but I like her new one, Glowing Goddess, more. No need to really own both as they’re so similar but I collect Jennifer’s fragrance so I have both.

  29. :

    5 out of 5

This is my first J.Lo fragrance, and I love it, particularly after a few minutes and then love it even more as time goes by, which is my of saying that this scent definitely has legs.
It pretty much defines its category of “fruity floral” but with a tropical twist and a sensual dry-down.
I’m now curious as to her other perfumes and have just ordered “Still” because I can see from the notes that it will not be similar to this scent.
I’m also tempted by “Live” but would love to hear from someone who has both it and JLove as to whether it would be redundant.

Fantastic fragrance.Long lasting & smells great.Reminiscent to Juicy Couture “viva la juicy” & Nicki Minaj “pink friday special edition”.One of her best fragrances from her extensive line. Adorable♥♥♥

It was only a month ago that I reviewed this scent.. BUT as the weather warms, it is just phenomenal… It is one of those fragrances that catches your attention hours after you’ve sprayed… It resonates with hot skin.
It is tropical, but not sweet, it is deep and
summer-y. It is a skin scent unless you generously reapply… Nonetheless, very pleasing to the nose!!!

  32. :

This is so light! It has the sillage and longevity of a BBW body spray, albeit one with more character. It smells good, nice and citrusy for summer, but I would not repurchase. I like the tiare/coconut part the best.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Tested this one at Kohl’s yesterday. I loved it at first! After 20 min or so, it was super citrusy, and I was mostly smelling lemons. Almost like lemon pledge. Not unpleasant, I just wouldn’t buy a bottle of this.

  34. :

picked this up at my local shopper’s drugmart for 20$
tropical fruits bathed in vanilla, it’s a nice summer fragrance. Makes me think of sitting on the beach at sunset, and sprtizing this on your neck while the wind blows through your hair. very nice fragrance, kind of generic but I like it 🙂

  35. :

I couldn’t place where I had experienced this similar scent and all of a sudden, I realized this is very reminiscent of Beyoncé’s Heat Rush, mostly due to the fruity notes. The pineapple in JLove parallels the passionfruit and orange in HR, which adds that tropical juiciness. The difference comes with the the dry down in JLove, it’s less flirty, but instead has that coconut/vanilla woody musk that deepens on the skin.
Longevity was about 3-4 hours, while changing from sweet to nutty…. Very nice for hot weather!

  36. :

    3 out of 5

On me this is predominantly a tiare fragrance with sparkling pineapple as a backdrop. I can’t detect anything distinctively coconut but there is a light, “woody” note that eventually breaks through the cocktail topnotes. I’m not familiar with Juicy Couture fragrances so I have no idea how this compares to them, but I can say that the pineapple notes call to mind L’Artisan Ananas Fizz. I LOVED Ananas Fizz…and I have yet to find a pineapple fragrance that comes close to how wonderful it smelled. Until Ananas Fizz returns, if ever, I am enjoying JLove.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

heavy on the pineapple but… I don’t seem to hate that note like I used to! (yay!) I get very little raspberry too which is a plus for me; it doesn’t feel too ‘cool’ as some raspberry scents do (lookin @Hippie Chic).
This is a great flirty girly warm weather scent! 1.5 hrs in and this may be the most tropical, pleasant smell ever in a scent! I’ve heard of girls liking ones w/ curacao & other liquor notes, which never quite did it for me for an ‘out w/ the ladies’ scent.
But THIS, this pineapple juice and fresh squeezed mandarine + coconut scent? This may well be my own new cocktail by the beach scent. (I’ve never found one quite to my liking). Delish! I was prepared for the worst since it was cheap and, as I said, I used to hate coconut and raspberry. But amazingly the pineapple/coconut in this are not cheap smelling, very smooth (no sharpness to the pina) and oh-so-yummy and sweet and juicy! What a great surprise <3

This perfume actually smells like Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj. I smelled both Juicy Couture and Pink Friday along with Jlove and I think this fragrance is too similar like the other two. Come on Jlo.. you have to have another jaw dropper like the success of Jennifer Lopez Still.

JLOVE is amazing! I wonder if she will have a spin-off of this and call it “JLOVERS” after her fans? She usually does a spin-off of each new fragrance and I think the name would be a cool throw back to her FANS! It should come in a Red “ice” block next time, or have red/pink liquid!

Recently got a tester card of this at Kohls and I have to agree with the Viva La Juicy comparisons. They are almost identical. JLove does have some slightly crisper, citrus top notes, but overall this is a dupe IMO. Fun bottle, though. Would be a great alternative if you didn’t want to pay for the Juicy Couture.

The first time I sprayed JLove the scent was very familiar to me. It smells very similar to another one of Jennifer Lopez’s fragrances, My Glow. Visually the bottle is stunning. The leopard print makes you feel just a little bit wild. Wild in a good way. The “juice” within smells lovely.

That’s so funny when you read the reviews .. some says it’s similar to fantasy others to avon today others to viva la juicy and others to purr ! I am lost

They are The compliments’ WINNER !

Reminds me of Viva La Juicy but fresher and not as heavy. I like it a lot but I just have too many of these types of scents. There are so many out their that smell like this. I’ll pass unless I get it for real cheap.

Tested it in Kohls today. It smells identical to Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy to me! Perhaps similar to Beyonce Pulse as well, but definitely Hidden Fantasy. It’s not a bad fragrance, just not original.

WAIT!!!!! When this first launched it said: FROZEN pineapple, WHITE raspberry AND coconut ORCHID. SO??!!!! What’s the deal?? Someone explain it to me please.
PLus, it’s not vanilla,it’s vanilla sorbet. BIG DIFFERENCE. So,getting this one. Don;t care about the fur. The animal is dead, will stay dead, and unfortunately ppl are not gonna stop killing ppl and for that matter animals. I like what’s in this perfume. It’s not like it has Blood as a note, does it?!

It smells very common. It’s nice though. Just not ideal for those that are looking for something different. Smells like VLJ Noir and somewhat like Wonderstruck but this is heavier and sweeter.

I bought this at khols today and let me tell you this is a very super sweet perfume but the only thing I hate about this perfume is the fresh clean soapy smell that all the jlo perfumes have but this one is good 🙂 I do think it smells like viva la juicy when you first spray it then after about 5 min or so it’s complete different so give this one a try it’s actually very nice but that bottle ugh!!! Ugly. And the sizes are all messed up they only sell it in the 1.0oz or the 1.7 oz 🙁 make the sizes bigger and ill be happy. Besides the bottle the leopard print is cool ! 7/10

No, this smells nothing like Heat Rush, If anything it is close to V.L..J.

  50. :

Smelled this one at Kohls 2day and I liked it. Very tropical, pineappley with what I thought was coconut, but it must have been the vanilla. Nothing too strong, but definitely a big sweetie. I don’t think it smells like Viva, the original Juicy, or Heat Rush, but maybe that’s just me. ; )
I guess the orchid in this one is “coconut” orchid, so maybe I did smell it correctly! : )

I bought this today at Kohl’s and now I feel like it smells almost exactly like Viva La Juicy. It’s nice, but it’s been done way too many times before! And for $49.99 for the 1.7 ( not even a 3.4 bottle), I will be bringing this back.

YES! I could not think of what it reminded me of, I have not had J.C. in a few years but your so right, it totally reminds me of Juicy Couture. I personally think I like JL<3VE even more! So sad it don’t come in a 3.3oz/100ml bottle. Why did we never get RIO GLOW? I read several articles that said the U.S. would get RIO GLOW by the end of summer. So sad we never got it, I want it SO bad! 🙁

Can anyone tell me why she’s started making ONLY 1.7oz’s? It’s putting a dent in my OCD nature of getting 2.5-3.4s.

It actually smells very similar to Juicy Couture.
I like it, but it smells very similar.

This smells AMAZING! I got to test it at Kohl’s. This is one of her best ever! I will buy a bottle or 2 when I get my money. Thank you JENNIFER LOPEZ for this Wonderful & AMAZING sent named ‘JLOVE’ <3
The top is FULL of the scents Raspberry, Pineapple, Pink Grape Fruit & Orange/Tangerine! It REALLY smells good enough to eat! (or drink) this Fragrance is GORGEOUS! From start to the end, I just love it. Also, It last on my skin for a good 10 Hours or so, Amazing Silage! The best part to me is the Vanilla Sorbet, White Wood & Skin Musk base! It lasted up till in went to bed and that base was so comforting and relaxing! WOW just wow!!!!! Like I said, This is one of her best perfumes EVER!
