A very beautiful modern version of the old classic Jean Marie Farina Cologne extra vieille. A perfect sparkling hesperidé perfume. It make me it of m’y 20’s when I use to wear Eau de Rochas and Eau de Lancôme.

This has a ‘burnt wood’ almost masculine scent to it which weakens after a while but it didnt win me. I find Roger & Gallet a bit mimicky of other scents on the market and this alone discourages me. I have to say though that I respect them for using natural ingredients.

this perfume is actually designed to be worn in the sunshine,it doesnt irritate the skin and is wonderfully refreshing. A strong citrus smell that you cover yrself in liberally whilst sunbathing on a scorching day,or on a long journey perhaps. It also feels like it moisturizes the skin too-whenever I wear this,it makes me feel like I’m on holiday-a friend said it reminded her of hot mediteranean days. It does need re-applying every 2-3 hrs,(all tho I hav particularlu acidic skin),but you get a big bottle for about 25 quid,so its ok. Citrus scents arent normally me-but this is fab for when u want to feel fresh and revived.
