Description

Bvlgari presents their new perfume Jasmin Noir to the market in September 2008. Its mysteriously dark bottle will become an object of affection for many fans of the house of Bvlgari, whereas the fragrance will attract many fans of woody-floral compositions.

The perfume Jasmin Noir is dedicated to women between 25 and 40, who are ready to pay more than average prices typical of Bvlgari‘s previous editions.

Perfumers Carlos Benaim and Sophie Labbe (perfumers of the house of IFF) are in charge of this year’s luxurious, fragrancy rapsody.

The perfume is created in dualist contrast of masculine and feminine notes. The perfumers wanted to compose Jasmin Noir with jasmine as the central ingredient, but in a very different way than before. Jasmine is wrapped and created as dark, with mysterious aromas of precious wood.

The composition opens with green plants juice with gardenia flowers. The heart encompasses Sambac jasmine absolute mixed with sateen almond aromas, while the base introduces dark notes of precious wood, with liquorice absolute and accords of Tonka.

Commercial for this perfume was made on the Spanish island of Ibiza, cover face is Kate Moss, who is wearing a very expensive diamond necklace by Bvlgari, while the perfume bottle is visible in the background. Photographers who signed this commercial are Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

The dark bottle will be available as 50ml (1.7fl.oz) and 100ml (3.4fl.oz) EDP. Besides the perfumes, the collection includes 200 ml body lotion and 200 ml bath, which will be available in the same time as the perfume.

this is an incredible dark potion
a sweet also bitter poisonous jasmine
like an oriental woman who can drive men crazy with her seduction techniques
it is one of my most complimented fragrances!
reminds me of the painting “Bitter Smile” by Mahmoud Farshchian

Boring and nondescript. I tested it at least 5 times and for the life of me I cannot remember what it smells like. When something is called “Jasmin Noir” I would expect something else entirely.

How did it take me this long to realize I really like this? It starts with jasmine but the almond and tonka really come forward and shine. The wood and green notes are present but stay in the background. As it settles I do get some root beer scent.
This manages to balance somewhere between elegant, comfortable, and fun and that is an amazingly unexpected place to be.

Not too long ago if I could have kept everything else in tact but plucked the jasmine out of Jasmin Noir I would have.
But since spring I’ve somehow formed a real affection for jasmine! A La Nuit, Jasmin Rouge, and even Alien have all found a place in my heart. My latest jasmine love was Jasmins Marzipane! Love it for its smoothness and quality. But the first time I smelled it, I went home scratching my head the rest of the day as I went back to my wrist trying to pin point what made it so familiar to me. Where had I smelled it before???
I went through the notes and seeing almond and jasmine together finally made it click. It was this! Jasmins Marzipane is a softer, rounder, higher quality Jasmin Noir! Jasmin Noir has an element to it that makes it feel a bit rough around the edges, but in a good way! Jasmins Marzipane is rounded out, less sweet with a touch of greenness. Due to my affinity for Jasmins Marzipane I’ve decided it’s time that I buy myself a bottle of Jasmin Noir again. I miss it and crave it. Only this time I don’t wish to pluck out the jasmine :p

I get jasmine, almond, and licorice, but none of them are trying to out do or smother each other. They all dance along the skin in perfect harmony with one another. It’s sweet but dry. Like a rootbeer on ice. I love that it’s detectable, but not in your face. The wearer gets to choose whether they want a come hither trail behind them, or just a scent that requires the close encounter of an embrace to detect. I will absolutely be buying this before it’s replaced by the newer version and hard to find.

A lovely perfume, one of the first I wore when I was a teenager starting to be interested in fragrances. It is a soft nighttime jasmine with a slight nuttiness, that isn’t overly complex and is both wearable and elegant. I was a bit heartbroken when Bvlgari switched to the Splendida collection, and I am considering buying a secondhand bottle.

In the beginning was jasmine. This jasmine had a decadent mind & wore only black petals – even its pollen was black. It grew up in darkness & its scent permeated through this darkness. This charming scent enticed some mild almonds & sweet licorice aroma – but jasmine darkness absorbed them. Since then, they live in perfect harmony & tempt those who love an unmistakable scent of dark jasmine.

A dark haired woman, wearing all black and smokey eye makeup, slips into a jazz club and orders a Sidecar cocktail. Intellectual and a bit aloof, she has lively debates with her friends about politics and art. She drinks her coffee strong and dark, and loves to tango.
This is the woman who should wear Jasmin Noir.

A bit mysterious and refined lady. That’s the image i got everytime i spray this fragrance. I get jasmine, almond, and some bitter/tart notes that seemed to complement the scent. To me this smells expensive.

I am quite disappointed to say “Jasmine Noir” is not for me. All I got from this perfume was jaded powder, that is the only way I can describe it. Watery long winded soft powder and I feel this is where the gardenia comes in. There was nothing else to discern in this at all.
    It’s so innocuous!
I am quite shocked at this one. Really I am. Otherwise, I congratulate all those who love this and are able to pick apart the notes. Perhaps I will try this again one day and see if my perception changes. However, I was at the fragrance counter in the afternoon at about 4 pm and I really did not get anything special about this.

I tried the Splendida Jasmin Noir before this one, and I really, really love them both.
Right now I have this on my left wrist and Splendida on my right.
They are EXTREMELY similar. The only real difference my (admittedly inexperienced) nose can pick up is the almond in this one, which is a really fantastic and surprising addition.
This seems to have been discontinued, but if you’re looking for something close, the Splendida may be a good option, especially if you layer it with something subtle with almond notes.
I’m seeing Splendida available and in stock basically everywhere, so I assume it’s still in production.
The only cons are that, like Splendida, this has no sillage or projection. But still an awesome, comfy, beautiful scent. Something I can wear at night to help me relax and go to bed.

Why are my favorites always discontinued? I can’t seem to find this anywhere, going to snatch up any bottles I find!
This is a gardenia-jasmine/dark marzipan gem! There is something sultry and different about this one, will always be a favorite.

A strong tonka, jasmine and almond fragrance. I’ve smelled it around a lot but finally decided to get it after feeling like a splurge! I quite like it and it’s one of the better Bvlgari’s for sure.

Based on the critiques here, I bought a bottle without sampling.
I was very excited, reviewers mentioned incense, sophistication. I love the smell of almonds, it reminds me of my childhood, my grandmother’s baking on special occasions. I adore Gardenia, Jasmine, Liquorice, Amber and Tonka Bean. High hopes here!
The initial spray is sharp Jasmine and Playdoh for me, then a fervent Almond / Gardenia which is very beautiful. The middle has a quite noticeable wood note which is just tolerable. After this I can detect greenness and a touch of patchouli which I think balances out the sweetness. Then vanilla and musk residue.
I don’t find this heavy-spicey or as nearly as interesting as the reviews suggest, it is a nice, pretty, woodsy-floral fragrance, I might say risk-free.
I was under the impression Bvlgari was a bit of a powerhouse with regards to perfume. So I guess I was expecting fireworks with one.
I see now I was a total sucker for advertising (don’t you hate that?!), I love anything to do with Kate Moss and the bottle is gorgeous.
The disappointment is its longevity. Definitely not what I would define as a “night” fragrance, Jasmine Noir is a quick, pleasant olfactory journey to the safety of faint Vanilla and Musk.
    * Edit- Goodness! This is gorgeous, tonight I have sprayed it on my clean sheets and myself…divine…sweet dreams!

I’m so devastated that this fragrance seems to be discontinued. 🙁 It’s one of my all-time favorites.

Tested this on my skin and I was expecting to love it due to white flowers with licorice, I even love almonds.
But I got this incense scent that stuck to me and wouldn’t change to anything else. I might have to layer this but I got straight smokey incense that reminded me of those incense we used in Japan during ceremonies.
I’m not sure which note disagrees with me, this one won’t be for me unfortunately.

Does anyone have the version which has “the essence of a jeweller” on its box? I cannot figure out whether it is the same or it differs from the original Jasmin noir edp formula. I wouldn’t open the box just send back to the webshop is it a different scent. Thank you!

Oh, what a pretty and sophisticated perfume! I know that a lot of people consider this to be a “nighttime” fragrance, but I honestly think this can totally be worn during the day if you use a light hand.
If I had to describe this fragrance, it would be a “warm white floral.” The notes that stand out the most for me are definitely the jasmine, gardenia, and almond. Jasmine is one of my favorite floral notes in a perfume and I think it smells very fresh and beautiful here. The gardenia adds a little touch of sweetness to the jasmine, and the almond adds a nutty quality to it. On my skin, the other stand out notes are the licorice, tonka bean, and musk. The licorice adds a certain subtle spice to it that is reminiscent of root beer to my nose, and the tonka bean is used great here to prevent the sweeter notes from becoming too sweet (instead, the tonka bean makes the sweet notes smoother and creamier instead of just sugary). The musk adds a clean and powdery vibe to the perfume, to the point where I think it actually “lightens up” the fragrance, which is why I can see this being pulled off during the daytime. Also, because of the levity that the musk brings, I honestly would wear this during the Spring and Summertime at night as well.
Personally, I don’t think that the green notes and the patchouli really stand out so much, because I don’t think it smells “earthy” at all. The florals definitely overpower anything “green” I might be smelling on my skin, I think.
I would say that this perfume is basically the lighter version of Dior’s Hypnotic Poison in the sense that I can see people saying that there’s a slight “Play Doh” or “Root Beer” vibe to this perfume. I think that if you enjoy Hypnotic Poison, then Jasmin Noir is definitely worth checking out if you want a lighter option.
My only “downside” to this perfume is the longevity. It doesn’t last very long on my skin … But that’s something I’m willing to deal with because I love the scent so much. I also think that makes this perfume the very opposite of cloying, which is a very good thing for a lot of people (like myself).
Overall, I love this perfume. I feel very “put together” when wearing this. I think it’s professional enough to wear in a work environment (if you use a light hand, of course), I think it’s pretty enough to wear out, and I think it’s sexy enough to wear on a date night. I see this being a “signature perfume” for a lot of women, honestly!

If l were doing an ad campaign for this perfume I’d pick English singer Jesse Ware for her intimate, sensuous vocals and dark slicked back hair in a bun like in her music video for the single “Running”. Cat eye, red lips. Pearl studs in her ear lobes. Statement gold necklace mimicking the cap of the perfume bottle. High necked, black Couture gown. I hope you get the picture. Elegant, understated, smoky…

What a delight for a sexy yet sophisticated night out. I started wearing this perfume quite young (16yo I believe), but ever since then I realised how magnificent this scent is. Certainly not for everyone, hits you pretty hard the minute you spray. Spicy tones unravels and don’t leave you for over 6 hours straight (no need for constant re-application). Warmth on the skin gives a self-confidence boost immediately, not to mention heads turning and that lovely attention from the opposite sex. Highly recommend to at least try it on, splash some in a perfume store and enjoy.

I chased a lady down to ask what devine aroma I was smelling in her wake, “Bvlgari.” she replied. It was indeed this heavenly concoction of bliss.
It’s clean, jasmine, licorice (I adore this note.) almond, white flowers at the middle to end you can smell slight spice. I’m a long time Oriental fan and so maybe that it what has hooked me. The silage is moderate, longevity at least 6-8 hrs. However, I can still smell it on my clothes next day. Beautiful fragrance.

Very easy to wear if you want something with spirit but you are not bold enough to pull off the beasts of the market. It’s a little dark a little sexy and pretty elegant, it reminds me somehow of Narciso Rodriguez for Her without the bitterness that turns me off. Sillage is moderate which makes it very wearable for office, but longevity is not impressive at all. I like it.

I just received a tester in the mail today. Here are my first thoughts…
It opens up with a strong whiff of Pamper (yes, the diaper). It brings back memories from 20 years ago – when my daughter was in diapers. You would think that smelling like a diaper would make me hate it… but #1 I don’t hate the smell of Pampers and #2 that scent fades away and Jasmin Noir turns into something warm and gorgeous.
The gardenia and jasmine on top of its warm base are just divine. I really don’t get a lot of almond or too much green. It’s mostly gardenia, jasmine & woody for me.
My husband just arrived home from work, smelled my arm and declared it a winner. He REALLY likes it. This is definitely going on my “want” list.

I think this is a modern vintage. It is a fragrance for old souls.
It has just the right amount of likeable smell, just not to feel so different and lost in this world, but surely not anyone can wear it. Sometimes I smell it on someone and I am thinking “this is so not a perfume for you” because you have to have something noir and strong to wear it. Otherwise it looks like you are trying to add something to your personality. And this one will work with you only if you two have something in common.
I don’t find licorice in it and on me, it is not sweet at all. There is really divine and sophisticated jasmine, gardenia and from somewhere I can feel sandalwood or something really woody, something a bit masculine and animalic. For me, this is how life smells like.
I bought it for the first time when I was like 19 or 20 and I could feel that it has something mature in it, I spent some time thinking “this is too much for me”, but then I realised this is it. This is me. It is strong, heavy, noir, beautiful and intense. It has really good sillage which I love and when I smell it, I get similar feeling like when I really look someone in the eyes and I can tell what their story is. It is definitely intimate and very honest. It won’t let you fool anyone.
But I can see the difference throughout the time I am wearing it. I think it is growing with me and I can’t wait to be an old lady who wears this with all of her soul and then my grandchildren will write here: my grandma wore this. 🙂

I so much wanted to love this. I am a Bvlgari fan, got this as a gift and liked the description (plus a beautiful bottle)
If you smell this from the bottle, it is powdery and I can smell gardenia, almond, vanilla and faint jasmine. So far so good.
Once on my skin however, all this goodness dissipates within half an hour leaving me with a whole lot of nothing.
For some reason, this perfume starts out well and kind of pathetically goes away, leaving you with (at best) something akin to a good soap or (at worst) something stinky.
Disappointed in this as I believe it was Bvlgari’s attempt at something deeper, darker and sophisticated. To me, it misses the mark.

I got this fragrance in the Magic box a couple days ago and I was not delighted. 🙁 I ordered it based on the reviews I read on here, so it was kind of a blind buy. By the time I received it I had forgotten what to expect so I was completely open to it. The gardenia was very overpowering for quite a while. The jasmine barely made an appearance and I never really smelled the almond. There are far too many base notes, so that was very muddled and impossible to pick out anything specific. After a couple hours it settled out to just a powdery, slightly less potent version of what I originally was smelling. My daughter called it, “still stinky.” This one was a miss.

I really love this- it is light but warm, and on me the jasmine and the almonds are very prominent but the jasmine isn’t indolic, thank goodness. I have this in a splash mini so I plan to purchase in a spray bottle to get a little more oomph, otherwise I love this fragrance!
It has a darkness to it that I love and enjoy that stays ladylike and pretty.

I received the EDP as a hand-me-down gift this Christmas. I was a bit surprised because l enjoy Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline and Rose Essentielle. This perfume is not the complex floral combination anchored by a light musk I was expecting.
The white florals were quickly overtaken by anise, patchouli and the smell of an old wood.
If you like overtly funky scents, this is for you. I have a big bottle of the EDP and am willing to swap.

Tonight I wear this parfum which my husband buy for me is so beautiful is a floral jasmine with sweet almond licorice and amber is sweet but for adult lady sophisticated smells sexy and elegant the color black is not good for the scent is white white floral I think the price is expensive for such a sweet innocent scent but I like it very much I will buy again sometime is good for going out casual day to day or evening for dinner sweet floral powdery a little woody musky womanly goes with lots of make up and cosmetics thank you baby I love you I recommend this parfum

The first thing that went through my head at first whiff was disappointment at another fruitchuili. Then the marzipan/almond/play dough note became prominent. Woods played lightly in the background. The opening is sweet and creamy. Later it is a scratchy floral. I did not smell any jasmine, but the big headache-inducing gardenia IS the drydown.

This smells a lot like M by Mariah Carey. It of course is different in ways, but the overall effect is similar. M is much sweeter and there is something much more complex about it compared to Jasmin Noir. That being said, I find this to be a beautiful perfume. There is something light and addictive in this, assuming it’s the almond, which is a lovely nuance in the composition. The gardenia definitely dominates in my opinion, with a slight smokiness which might be from the licorice. It does seem to be a common consensus that licorice is a little smoky, or like burnt rubber as people claim of Pink Sugar (which I totally agree). This surprised me as it’s quite light despite the bottle & name of the perfume. There’s a little bit of Alien in this too, although the gardenia is the strongest note. The jasmine & amber combo probably makes me think of Alien. There’s also a tiny dash of Kim Kardashian’s brown bottle perfume, but not much. If I were to assign other scents as components of this scent with percentages, I’d say 85% M, 10% Alien, and 5% Kim K… not to say this isn’t it’s own perfume. The licorice, although smoky, is noticeable especially in wafts of air. And the almond which sets this apart & makes it unique.
Edit: I find that Bvlgari scents have a wet or dewey quality to them, especially with their heavily floral scents, which I find really enjoyable (I own and love Rose Essentielle, Omnia Amethyste, and Aqva Divina).

After repeated attempts to enjoy this perfume, I finally gave it to my mother. On my skin is bad, I feel wet jasmine, but in bad sense. There is good endurance, which is terrible in this case. The perfumes of Bvlgari and I do not get together.

I’ve been revisiting fragrances I wore in my early 20s and Jasmin Noir was a big love for me back then.. and I’ve fallen back in love with it now. I remember feeling like it was a very mature scent, almost too mature but I liked the aura of sophistication I felt from wearing it. Nowadays it feels like a youthful fragrance, probably because of the nostalgia I associate with it.
Regardless, I love wearing it, it has a soft beauty to it and is definitely office-appropriate. This is not an indolic jasmine, even though “noir” might signify otherwise. This is a light, sweet jasmine, not a white floral bomb but more of a whisper with a well-balanced base of musk and woods that never overpowers.
It is a simple, uncomplicated scent but comforting and elegantly beautiful. This will probably always be in my collection.

I am partially anosmic to it, don’t smell the jasmine at all, but the almonds and licorice combo, the fava + musk and the gardenia are so sublime that I still love the perfume. 8 hour longevity with moderate sillage. Love this !!!!

    This is a beautiful fragrance.
    Sexy, mature, and very dark.
But, sadly, each time I sprayed it on my neck or my wrist it gave me headache or nausea. Even my friends said “Too much Jasmin on you!”
I only used it for 3-4 times and gave up!

I love Sambac Jasmine simply because they reflect the culture that I grew up in – S.E. Asian wherein Jasmine has cultural and spiritual significance. I love wearing fragrances that have Jasmine cord, the deeper scent the better which is why I love Oriental fragrances.
Recently, I have decided to be more ‘adventurous’ with perfume, although I have my signature scent, I decided to explore out of my comfort zone. One of the perfumes I decided to try is Jasmin Noir.
Jasmin Noir for me is a ‘warm yummy’ perfume. The floral notes are very subtle, the almond and woody notes are more prominent. The sweetness is not loud, more like rich and dark sweetness. I wear deeper, bolder and more complex perfumes but with that said Jasmin Noir is definitely a sexy winter fragrance. You could get men’s attention wearing this.

I seem to like fragrances named ‘black’ or ‘noir/e’. My small fragrance collection contains Noir Epices, Coco Noir, Vanille Noire, Black Afgano and Back to Black, and I’ve just added to them one Jasmin Noir. I have to say that none of these are truly ‘black’ or ‘dark’ to me, but I like them nevertheless.
Bvlgari Jasmin Noir is a spectacularly misnamed fragrance – it’s not dark at all, and the jasmine is certainly not its dominant note. Truth be told, this is an absolutely beautiful scent – sooo delicious, creamy and velvety – but the jasmine is overpowered by gardenia and a sweet almond/marzipan paired with tonka. This is actually a good thing, because lots of people don’t like strong jasmine (they find it quite stinky) and I receive complaints whenever I dare to wear Lush Lust, Nasomatto Nuda, Carthusia Gelsomini di Capri and such. No complaints with Jasmin Noir though – it’s a very subtle and smooth interpretation of jasmine, thus it is unlikely to offend anyone.

I bought Jasmin Noir the other day, based solely on recommendations here. I’m wearing it for the first time today, and I have to say, I smell DELICIOUS. I can’t detect the green notes at all, because the gardenia opener is such a resounding top note. It segues into the jasmine so beautifully. This is the most authentic jasmine scent I’ve ever come across. The almond and wood and amber seem to support it and blend in almost seamlessly … I think it’s these other notes that make it so jasmine-y. Maybe. I can’t find licorice at all, unfortunately. The tonka is a nice little powdery surprise at the end. Jasmin Noir strikes me as a night-time fragrance. It’s sexy but elegant, confident, mysterious … definitely complicated. I can’t stop sniffing my wrist! Now if only it lasted longer.

I have a sample of this perfume that we can already call a “classic” that I got some months ago at Sephora’s but never used because you have to dab it instead of spraying and I find the process really annoying. But last night as I was thinking of what perfume to wear before bedtime, it came to my mind that I have a sample of this fragrance and I felt in the vein to dab some perfume on my wrist instead of spraying, I wanted the perfume to be more intimate and discreet, wearing it just for myself.
To my utter surprise I found out that this perfume I had definitely smelt it before, on another woman. A few seconds later the memory lightning stroke me and I got illuminated. Yes, this was the perfume my high school teacher wore as a winter fragrance while for spring and summer she opted out for Acqua di Gioia. The intimate warmth and white flowers of the scent took me back in time not so many years ago. She embodied very well this perfume actually as she was a white floral lover and almost always, especially in autumn-winter wore black outfits that’s why I can match it all: Jasmin Noir and black bottle. It felt so good reviving in my mind those times though it was only two and a half years ago that I finished high school, but it’s no news that perfumes can trigger nostalgia like nothing else. I too fell in love with JN when I tested it that day at Sephora’s and now I want it for a furthermore reason: to take me back to the good old times.

Blind bought a mini splash because it was so cheap and I have a soft spot for tiny perfume bottles.
Jasmin Noir is a dual sided experience: a bit prim and a bit hedonistic. I don’t imagine the tight black dress of other reviews, but more of a naughty librarian with the good girl white florals underlined by the sultrier base; A knowing look over the top of her eyeglasses.
From beginning to end, it is lush and creamy. It starts off with Gardenia on top with the jasmine sneaking in. Then the almond and woods add another dimension, anchoring the entire composition. The florals stay floaty and light with the Gardenia fading over time. There is a green, almost minty patchouli that, paired with the woods and amber, takes on a freshly rained upon dirt note. After some time, the licorice has an ammonia aspect, but for me, it adds to the naughty undertone and is not unpleasant. Tonka takes its powdery sweet bow near the end.
This is the marriage of Serge Lutens A la Nuit and Costume National Scent.

I am strangely anosmic to the combo jasmin/gardenia of Jasmin Noir, but, on MY skin, all I can smell are the other notes , so JN for me has a dustiness and powderiness and the smell of almonds, almost marzipan-y with a slightly bitter dark-y licorice. And it lasts for 8 hours plus with heavy sillagefor 2h30. It is lovely, although not at all flowery on my skin. Dusty almonds and marzipan-y like plus a bitter dark licorice in a background of light tonka/amber sweetness, truly delicious and gourmand.

I love the smell of Jasmine in the late spring, especially at night time in my garden. Unfortunately the smell of jasmine doesn’t normally translate well into perfume (my personal opinion), I find in perfume Jasmine can have a hint of cat urine smell. Bvlgari Jasmin Noir is the only Jasmine perfume that doesn’t give me that cat piss smell. Another bonus of Jasmin Noir is that you can get it cheap from Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist. Even though this perfume is named after jasmine there are other notes in it too, the most noticeable one for me is the almond note which smells like marzipan. Even though this is the best jasmine perfume I’ve found so far it still doesn’t compare to the jasmin growing in my neighbourhood. My other complaint is that the perfume doesn’t last long at all on the skin. I do enjoy Jasmin Noir (I’m wearing it now) I’m sure I’ll keep buying it until I find my ultimate jasmine perfume.

Another interesting study of personal chemistry interacting with fragrance chemistry.
OOB, it is creamy vanilla wood overlaid with a strong whiff – but NOT a full layer – of jasmine.
On *my* skin, it is very nearly a dupe of Samsara by G. with the barest whisper of jasmine in passing.
A lovely, well-blended, well-rafted perfume for a woman. I disagree with the *sweet* note listed – a note which I despise and would not wear. It is not present here.
Lovely bottle, lovely scent for a lovely woman.

People keep listing this as their favorite “sexy” scent. To me, this *is* sexy, but it’s an elegant sexy, not a carnal, let’s-just-skip-dinner-and-stay-in-the-bedroom sexy. This is sexy like a woman in a perfect black silk dress, her lover breathing deeply when he gets near her neck.
I mean, I’m going to buy a bottle now that I’ve sampled it because everyone needs an elegant evening fume. But, not gonna lie, I was looking for a scent equivalent of a pencil skirt and black patent leather heels. If someone knows something like that with a bit more skank, PM me! <3

I’m wearing this in the summer and it’s glorious. Most reviewers say this is a “winter” scent, but I disagree…jasmine and gardenia bloom in warm weather, so it smells very natural this time of year! It’s too delicate to be detected in the cold weather under layers of clothes (my climate is VERY cold in the winter). The slight warmth of the almond and woods make it sultry and sensual. I prefer to wear it later in the day and into the evening. Lush!

This perfume is creamy, floral and woody. It is nocturnal, mysterious and deep. I come to my mind a woman in a tight black dress at an outdoor party on a summer night. This perfume is exquisite and sensual ❤

Este perfume es cremoso, floral y amaderado. Es nocturno, sensual y profundo. Me viene a la mente una mujer con un vestido negro ajustado en una fiesta al aire libre en una noche de verano. Este perfume es exquisito y sensual.

At home, at the foot of the entrance to my house, I have a massive shrub of wild Jasmines growing. About 3 feet away from the Jasmine shrub I have a vine of Gardenia! At night when I step out, these flowers engulf me in a cloud of it’s sweet smell. One day I was bored out of my mind at work and I put on this fragrance. I sniffed it and melted. (I always do, this is by and large one of my favourite perfumes!) Hours passed by and I had gotten into the full swing of work and completely forgotten that I even put this fragrance on. I closed my eyes for a moment and brought my hand up to cover my mouth to let out a tiresome yawn. GOSH! I suddenly transported right back to those stairs at home at night! I was wondering what just happened.. I could truly smell the entrance of my family home. Jasmines and Gardenia.. I was thoroughly confused and began to look around and then I saw my bottle of Jasmin Noir sitting pretty on my desk. I was truly astounded. This is the most realistic Jasmine and Gardenia smell I’ve ever encountered! Alien Schmalien.. this is your truest Jasmine!! I work about 100 meters from the biggest fragrance chains in Sri Lanka so right after work I went and bought a bigger bottle of this as I NEVER wanna be out of this juice. This is home in a bottle to me.

This is such a gorgeous fragrance! Truly one of the best. I was a little nervous about the jasmine but once I put it one, all my fears melted away. Nothing about this scent is harsh, it’s soft and quiet, like berber blanket.<br /
