Where is the rose? This is nothing but lush red roses in full bloom! Sweet, deep, crunchy petals warmed by the sun, with just enough oud to give them shape and texture, just enough spice to bring out the natural spiciness of the rose, and a little bit of citrus to keep them from falling inwards with the weight of so many honeyed, velvet petals… Yet, this velvety garment is quite sheer, and fades quite fast into a memory of roses carried on a sea breeze…
Edit: Alright, so having spent some more time with this, I have to add that this isn’t as fresh a rose as I first thought. It’s a woody, moist, and spicy rose, that melds its fragrance with the hot and humid air of a rainy July. Sweet, salty, wild beach roses. The sillage is very soft and the scent is pretty linear, but this is to be expected as this is presented as a hair and body spray.
