This unfortunately doesn’t suit my skin chemistry. I got a very pretty orange blossom for approximately two minutes, but it then turned to a very powdery floral, and I was unable to pick out any individual notes. While perfumes from this house smell great on other people, I haven’t had much luck with them.

This is a nice attempt to present all the aspects of the neroli flower at once – the citrusy bite, the elusive spiciness, the subdued bitterness, and the unmistakable nectar of the flower’s heart… Real neroli flower under the microscope. And yet, the result is not particularly refreshing, as citrusy fragrances tend to be, but rather relaxing and foreboding at the same time, like a sunny windless afternoon with just a hint of haze – the calm before a storm. But the storm never comes, and the flower transforms within a couple of hours into a mildly mediciny but not entirely unpleasant after-taste. All in all, this is an entertaining enough but unremarkable fragrance with the short lasting power typical of MPG creations.
