Smells like baby powder – got a small roller ball off ebay 2/2/18 . Smells lovely .

My friend had it back then in early 2000s, and I really fell in love with it! Still remember the scent…

Well, my Japanese musk oil has arrived! Bliss! It’s everything I remember and makes me feel sooo nostalgic! This will be my new no 1 fragrance, despite the bottles of Chanel, Dior and YSL etc. It seems to work really well on my skin, in the same way the original Chanel No 5 edp did. I am strictly an addict now and intend sourcing more of this lovely oil and hiding it in my drawer til needed. I have only felt this way about a few fragrances before eg No 5 No 19 and Coco Ysl Opium…pre reformulation and YSL Cinema and Rive Gauche all of which I can’t bear to be without. I have others in my collection too but these pale into nothing now I have re discovered Japanese Musk oil. Thank you Body Shop x

I wore this oil as a student in the 80s and continued to use it when I could afford much more expensive fragrances..it always got compliments from men and women and I loved it for the smell and longevity so I was devastated when they discontinued it. BUT Joy of Joys!!! I have just found some on ebay and ordered it. I can’t wait for it to arrive! I just hope my memories of it aren’t disappointed now that I’m a 50 something!

I miss this perfume oil so much. It was a perfect “skin” or “nude” scent, you know, the equivalent of nude lipstick, and fleshy nude stockings. Subtly sexy and feminine, with a classic quality to it. It reminded me of Rive Gauche but much more demure and always wearable. I enjoyed it especially in rainy weather, dabbed lightly on a scarf under the trench coat. It made me feel sensual, but never obvious.
Individual notes don’t really stick out, the best I can do is describe it as “musky” and “powdery” with lots of aldehydes and a touch of lily of the valley. There are many musky scents out there, including the lovely white musk by The Body Shop, but nothing quite as nice as this one.

Bring it back! I’m wearing it now, I got it for a fiver on ebay and it’s amazingly beautiful. A spicy musky fragrance with good sillage.

This did not smell like nothing interesting on me… but I had a friend who used to wear it, and she smelled like HEAVEN! I remember I could smell her presence when she walked into the place! It was a truly amazing smell… on others!!!

One of many scents that L’Oreal did away with. How very silly of them. Nothing they make today compares to this. I miss it.

I love this and many other discontinued Body Shop lines. This is hard to get hold of. Are you listening Body SHOP? We want it back!
It’s sharp, yet musky, with a hint of spice, and not too in your face. Being an oil, it lasts for hours ans hours too.

I lived in Australia and wore this every day. I had not smelled it in 17 years and put it on today…I almost fell off my bed! I was brought right back to that time (a wonderful time BTW). I find it amazing how smell is so powerful and how everyone is so different. It really makes me appreciate the the olfactory.

I’m not font of musk but I used to love this one.
I didn’t own this perfume, but it was my roommates and we used to suitch perfumes, she used mine and I was using hers in a daily bases.
Soft and elegant musk, much much better than, say, Soft Musk by Avon.

I first picked up a bottle of this lovely and unusual oil when I moved from cold Melbourne to warm Brisbane in September of 1989. Now, whenever I smell this, it takes me right back to those days of promise ahead of me.

Strong yet Feminine, I love it!

i have a bottle of this, and although i love this fragrance, i find that it’s very weak and wishy-washy.
It seems to be all carrier oil and hardly any fragrant oil.

I love this oil perfume! I feel that my skin is so soft and smooth…
