Got noticed by at least 3 at work in a large room, so projectivity is great. One of my fellow workers said though that it smelled like wood cement, whatver that is suppes to smell like. I thought sillage was lacking but after another try it’s not a problem. I wore at work but this is probably more suited for the evening. I laos have to be careful with how many sprays as it was a bit too strong for at least one of my co-workers.

Unique blend. Loud peppery in the opening…and then a smoky incense takes over. I find it to be only moderate sillage and longevity, not a beast for sure but kind of sioft for this type of fragrance. Seems like excellent quality ingredients. Could be worn daytime but best for the evening. Not one of my favorites but not bad.

Very interesting offering from BOIS 1920. The opening of Itruk is all about pepper on me. In minutes it brings you to a burned wood territory. A strong campfire scent that will quiet down leaving room for incense. There is that smoky dryness, but strange enough, the dry down will slowly peak through giving you at the same time a melange of softness, creaminess and a little bit powdery (that is when I was able to detect cardamom). Like 2 opposites developing in parallel. After a harsh, dry opening, comes this beautiful dry down; smooth, soft & lightly smoky. After a couple of hours I got this comparison in mind… imagine Guerlain’s Habit Rouge without the rose and citrus. That warm, powdery & spicy feeling.
To me, this fragrance is all about metamorphose. An opening that creates a feeling and then, the dry down brings you to a complete different destination.
In a few words… pepper, campfire, dryness, incense and then warm, spicy & soft.

This is dark, Cardamom, Pepper, with a bit of incense, Tonka beans, & Amber. It’s kind of the smell of the Arabian nights under the starry shining sky on bed of moisturized dunes siting on that magical carpet and drinking Arabian coffee. quite a scene, an infatuating scene.
