Once in a while you stumble on to a niche promising of great things, but the tacky(some say kitschy) commercialized pages already forewarns disappointment.
Opus oil is a company that makes basic ingredient blends with little creatvity, this happens to have be one of the WORST creations in their expansive and commercialized range. Opens up with a ridiculously soured milk note with a *hint* of oud, which happens to literally combine to an accord of vomit, (crude as it is , this is the most accurate likeliness) The fragipane, undertone add a powdery floralness to no avail. Composition is very unbalanced and seemingly uncreative. To claim you use natural ingredients, is seemingly suspircious as well, real oud is very very expensive, and has TREMENDOUS projection and longevity. these ‘natural’ oil at “parfum” concentration doesnt even measure up to an eau de toilette. This is true for many of 14+ odd samples i have experienced from their company. At about 3.7ml for $40, the pricing is ridiculous.
Good news is sillage + longevity for Mantra is barely there. I do apologize for writing such a horrible review, i dont always do this.
