I blind bought this online because a review here said that it smelled like my favorite gin and I was excited that I would find a crisp herby sweet scent. Nope – just a strong sharp floral smell. I don’t get any fruits or star anise unfortunately. The scent is very strong and does stay consistent for the whole day. Now I have 100 mL of this to sell on Gumtree.

smells like pickled flowers on me… as much as i love citruses, somehow this does not work out

This review is for the EDP version. A light white floral scent. A bit soapy. Just a little bit citrus.
It is very basic, not bad, but it doesn’t stand out at all. I think it doesn’t have the sillage or longevity as well.

Does anyone else think a scent called intrusion should be more imposing / dark / edgy? This is a white fruity floral. More suitable to a name like whispers or charmed…anyway. Most notes I like on a spring day, drydown soft musk, but does have that 90’s cosmetics vibe that others talk about. For me more those deodorants I still buy as opposed to hairspray. Pleasant and definitely non intrusive.

I gave this several tries now but i can t help myself – i don t like it. To me first 30 min its a smell of hairspray my mum was used to use in the 70s – after this it becomes a undefined watery green scent with the initial hairspray accord in the background. Where is the star anise i love ? Where is the gourmand touch announced? Can t detect any of sweetness or foody touch in this. Just straight green and white floral. Not for me. If someone is interested in my 30ml bottle just pm me… europe only.

Thank you to corkscrewcurly for the decant. I’ve just compared this to the essential oils of lemon, bergamot and neroli that I have. And all the notes are there – standing out the strongest is the lemon.
It’s a citrus scent with a juicy sweetness which I’m guessing is the mandarin. Very unique and blended perfectly. It was making my mouth water, and then it hit me what it reminded me of… I rushed downstairs and put my nose in a half empty bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin. Yep, it’s about 70% like this gorgeous botanical blend, only sweeter. Pass the tonic…

This one reminds me a little Aqua di Gio, sweet pea + patchouli + anise/peppery note + metallic smell of sea water after swallowing. Ethereal, watery, very foggy, for elves, make me want to dance, like Laura Palmer (Twin Peaks), lift my hands up, move my hips right left, slowly, with closed eyes, such a narcotic “misty” unreal dance.

Wow, another discontinued (?) hidden gem. I was wearing this in my early thirties – not in spring, but in cool winter: And so it felt – if the cool, crisp and soft light of winter mornings had a scent: this would be it.
In former I had also the impression of fabric softener in the best positive way. I wish I could smell it again to find out, if it would still reveal it’s beauty for me, after all this years.

I’m wearing the EDP that i got online with no box. i’m one of the lucky ones who seems to have all of the good points — it’s light, clean and fresh, with no fruity or spicy or gourmand at all — just white floral on me. perfect for work, and yet i get great longevity and decent projection (but not so much that it would bother anyone). I was on a perfume buying binge and am now rediscovering some of the forgotten gems. this is definitely one of them.

This is a review of Intrusion EDP as Fragrantica is not showing a separate listing for it. The EDP is a floral aquatic with loads of citrus notes thrown in. The bottle shown here is the EDT and may be the notes are different from the EDP as the EDP which is a plain bottle with no flower design on it. It is not a gourmand at all from any angle. It’s a summery fresh daytime perfume, very light and has soft sillage with musky drydown. I think if you like Davidoff Coolwater for women, you might like this.

This is not your typical Oscar de la Renta perfume. Intrusion is much more citrus than floral and could even be considered unisex. It is fresh and light in composition, if not in projection and longevity, both of which I find to be above average. The patchouli is subtle, but it grounds the entire perfume making it slightly spicy and more interesting than your average citrusy fresh perfume. I prefer Intrusion in summer because in the winter the patchouli becomes overpowering (to my nose at least) and throws off the beautiful balance of this perfume.

Mandarin, mandarin, mandarin – with a touch of flower. What’s not to like about this? I am so surprised that it is not more popular and more appreciated here. My nose must work differently than most people’s – I swear, because I find this fragrance very pleasing, and like it even way better than Happy, another citrus fragrance that I love on hot, dry days. It reminds me of something very familiar, but I can’t point my finger on it. I could bath in it without getting tired of it. LOVELY! Maybe, just maybe, if it came in a much prettier bottle, some might like it more? It is really not as cool and crisp as the bottle would suggest, because I find perfume bottles are a bit like a nicely arranged plate of food, if it is pleasing to the eyes, it gives us much more joy. It is a mind thing. The bottle is a bit too much minimalism for such a beautiful fragrance.

The temperatures are rising, summer is on my doorstep, and it’s time to bust out the clean, fresh, aquatic scents! I had a bottle of this I bought some time ago that I’d waited to try until the temperatures warmed. Since today is a sunny day, already warm, I decided that this was the perfect time to try Intrusion.
I feel like on my skin Intrusion really smells very different than I’d expected it to from the reviews.. my skin tends to amp up anise in a big way, so I get a TON of it. I’ve been wearing the perfume for a few hours and the anise is still there. Where others smell flowers and citrus, I smell citrus and spice… and that’s not really what I wanted this scent to be. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t smell bad at all, there’s just a masculinity to this scent on my skin that I didn’t anticipate. I also get a slight woodsiness… I will say that Intrusion smells like nothing else I own. I wouldn’t say I dislike Intrusion, but do I love it? No, I can’t say that I do, at least at this point. I think I might need to wear it a few more times before I decide for sure what my thoughts are. I just wanted to put this review out there for those that are considering a blind buy – it’s inexpensive, so there’s not much risk in purchasing, So at least there’s that.

I saw a gift set,1.7oz edt(silver cap and transparent glass bottle without flowers on it)and a body lotion for 28$ and I liked it’s notes so another blindbuy was done
I expected it to be very citrusy and I was worried about it as I can’t get along with too much citrusy and sour scents but there was no need to worry.citrus notes are definitely there but they don’t appear too much sour or sharp.a combination of grapefruit, mandarin and bergamot keeps everything fresh but non of them are too strong on my skin.
First time that I tried it I told myself:meh,a bland floral fruity.not bad for it’s price but I wasn’t very happy for buying it.but the other day I started to like it and today I like it even more
I find it very strange that they have put it in floral-fruity-gourmand category, maybe it’s the case with edp version but there’s nothing gourmand about edt,not even a bit.at least on my skin it’s all about a lovely floral scent, mostly jasmine and peony blended with citrus notes and grounded by a clean musk and a hint of tamed patchouli.I can’t even pickup much of anise or anything spicy here and it’s a pity,I could appreciate a bit of star anise or some gourmand nuances, still I’m very happy to have it in my collection.it’s fresh, feminine, gentle, clean, easy to wear and has enough class and sensuality.it’s not harsh, cold, sour unlike some other fresh citrus-floral scents.it’s well made but if you’re looking for something gourmand or complex it may let you down
Intrusion has very good longevity on my skin but it’s light.I can smell it on my skin for hours but I don’t think it really projects.I have to layer it with it’s body lotion and wait for others comments.I’d really like to try it’s EDP version.I love to know wether they smell similar and their only difference is in their concentration or not

I am wearing this perfume right now in a spring sunny day. Indeed, it reminds me a bit of the aqua de Gio – at least in the 2-3 hours after you’d spray. But the dry down is different- is like a more like my beloved l’eau d’issey with lots of jasmine flowers in a nice bowl of water. It’s not girly, has something mature or ageless. I love about this that is not necessarily common, i know i’m smelling fresh -watery-flowery but different. has a very vague hint of vintage perfumes. I bought it online being at a huge discount knowing that it would be e at least safe to blind buy. and it is great! I feel some peony but i can’t it. I don’t feel the anise, for sure not in the Lolita Lempicka type of anise. The dry-down reminds me also a bit of CK in2You for her , i don’t know why no one noticed that. it’s not that powdery, but there’s something familiar between those. I always like to try something new but for sure I would buy another bottle of this wonderful perfume. NOTE- i have the clear -Eau de perfume bottle, not the pink one with a flower on it.
And one important note- it could be overpowering for a watery perfume, but in a way l’eau d’issey power, silage and longevity are, really not disturbing but with personality.
LATER EDIT: I still think this is a great perfume. it’s a perfect summer scent. I discovered that the nose behind it is Alberto Morillas- the one and only creating so many great aquatic and powdery perfumes. Now I know why i like it so much although it’s not that popular among fragranticans, It’s amazing how a vibe of a certain nose is given to different houses.
LATER LATER EDIT: So Morillas created this fragrance together with the eccentric Cavallier! if that’s not a reasons to at least test it, i don’t what is.!

Oh, I love this but I always fear that it’s totally overpowering. Other reviews say it’s low projection, but I think it’s sort of huge. Yet, I love it and wear it all the time.
That grapefruit and clove at the start – heavenly!

It is fresh, but it’s too harsh to me somwhow. It’s a rather bitter scent, and, unfortunately, I don’t get mandarin notes.

Tired it over a year ago and almost gonna buy it (was only $20 for 100ml) but didn’t. It was a very nice white floral, nice and pleasant scent. However, you can’t remember a thing about it late on.
Would make a nice and affordable opinion for the office and gym.

I’ve been wearing this for a few weeks now and for some reason I found that I couldn’t smell it on me at all. Then tonight I sampled it again at bedtime and I am finally able to make the scent out.
I think that this works best in warm weather as the only difference in wearing it today is that i’m in a wam room and straight away this brings the scent out.
This scent is low sillage and low projection. I think that it’s more floral-aquatic as opposed to gourmand being that it’s a floral.
The mandarin orange, sicilian bergamot, star anise, grapefruit and neroli are what gives the fragrance it’s warmth; and the base notes of amber, patchouli and musk are quite subtle which is rather surprising as they must have only used just a minute drop of each in this composition. I would say that the middle notes of lily, gardenia, water jasmine and peony are just gorgeous and I believe that the Lily and water Jasmine are what gives it that slightly aquatic feel.
It dries down quite rapidly, (10 mins !!!) and I an now left with this as a skin scent. Which is a shame as i’d like it to last longer.
I’d love to try it in an intense version

    clean, Fresh, Aqua, Lilly
This to me me has the vibe of Baiser Vole Cartier. It has a added aquatic note and less Lilly. I like this one much better. I don’t add perfume to my collection very often and what a pleasure to find it.

Just received a bottle of EDP from Zulily. I like it, as I like the blend of citrus fruits in it. It’s so very light and short-lived, that I put it in the refrigerator to cool me off after I’ve been in the Arizona sun. Perfect for post-sun revival. I much prefer Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune with its staying power and insistent, unique blend.

“I am so fresh and so clean”-Peachysugarbu
    “Fresh, not soapy squeaky clean”-Justpeachy007[Bond?..]
“mostly white floral, with some rose and musk for the dry down”-Hope114
They are all on point, this is fresh and cleanliness without being soapy. The peony is rosier and giving the rose scent.I wore this this, went to play basketball for an hr and after all the sweating I was smelling fresh! The dry down reminds me of Fanta Citrus my mother used to drink. When I smell my white t-shirt, i feel like drinking it lol.The comparison to ADG are legit because this is similar to the floral notes in ADG behind the strong Sea note. The sprayer is really good, very high quality.Overall, both sexes can wear this fresh and clean perfume.

While “fresh-citrus” isn’t my favorite genre of scent (the above fragrantica description is wayyyy off), Intrusion has a place in my wardrobe.
This fragrance features zippy citrus, fresh/aquatic florals and musk. Intrusion feels clean and sparkling, yet somehow “dry” too. It smells like it would come from an Italian fashion house, with the use of lemon – I understand the Acqua di Gio comparisons. Intrusion could work on a man or a woman because of its lack of sweetness.
Intrusion is what I reach for following that near-orgasmic shower that occurs after a day of intense yard work or a week of camping. It furthers the “I am so fresh and so clean” feeling. If you like fresh-citrus scents you’ll love Intrusion.

Intrusion EDP. Easy to wear unofffensive scent. Opens with The fruits I get a lot of the lime. They are not sweet it’s more like the fruit peels. Right away then I can smell the patchouli Amber and musk soon after. They settle and make way for the very soft florals. The drydown is mostly the fruit peels on top which smell really clean, faint light florals that I can’t single out as one flower vs another with a very very slight powderyness to them, and very soft settled patchouli Amber and musk. A lot of reviews say it’s possibly unisex and I can almost see that by cap smell and on first spray and during the dry down. But once this all settles this scent is a clean fresh feminine fragrance. If the base notes dried harder I could say unisex. I can also say if vetiver was added it could be unisex. If your skin amplifies pachouli Amber and musk this may seem unisex to you. Although, my skin tends to but in intrusion they settle soft clean and a tad sensuous. Compared to other Oscar scents, this does not fall into the super florals. Nor the powdery florals. Nor the sharp citrus. It’s not a “powersuit” perfume that grabs and demands attention. Not girly and pink. It is a great everyday feel fresh smell really good scent. Fresh, not soapy squeaky clean. I highly recommend it.

This is nothing special, light and floral – perfect for the office. I don’t get any citrus at all, mostly white floral, with some rose and musk for the dry down. Just OK for me.

  29. :

    5 out of 5

I agree that this isn’t gourmand at all. I don’t even detect much citrus. It’s definitely dominated by white flowers. This is a very delicate fresh feminine scent on initial spraying. It is particularly pleasant when sprayed on clothing. However, after about two hours I smelled my wrist and my perpetual curse with jasmine had emerged. Combined with the gardenia and lily this is truly an unholy trifecta for me.
Dry-down is faintly, but still unfortunately sour and indolic on my skin. I’m getting that animalic note for sure. This is not super special but could be very pleasant on someone else who’s body chemistry is not so rebellious.

I am so loving this fragrance! It is so fresh and lively. It has a ladylike quality that suits my feminine side like no other has in a long time. I know the notes have listed a lot of citrus but blended together so nicely, I get crisp excitement. It seems to last for many hours on myself and then it remains close to my skin for hours after this. This is well worth trying and I know I will be grabbing it often this Summer and into the Fall months too. Oscar D.R. has seriously taken a new level in my fragrance wardrobe.

This is a wonderful spring/summer fragrance. It opens with a burst of lemon but then it softens into a fresh, almost aquatic fragrance. I feel feminine when I wear it, yet a friend from Germany just bummed a bottle of EDP off me. He is convinced it’s unisex. I guess it could be – possibly a wee bit along the lines of L’eau D’Issey or CK One as the unisex bit goes. Will have to wear them side by side to confirm.
On a woman this is feminine. On a man I suspect it’ll just be a fresh fragrance. It’s in no way harsh or overtly unisex and yet it really just could work both ways. I’ve no clue how to turn my babbling mess here into an acceptable explanation. I’m clearly not getting my point across as well as I’d like to. 🙂

Love this perfume and body lotion. I tried I love Dior, Mis Dior, J’adore Dior, Acqua di gio giorgio armani. All those the fragrance i love beside this one although i collected Bvlgari, Bvlgari omnia, Dolce gabana feminine, Emporio armani by A/X, CK one, Jean paul gaultier classic, antonio banderas blue seduction, Chanel no 5, Gap deep, hugo boss deep red, hugo boss : boss woman, nina ricci elixir, carolina herera 212 sexy, ysl opium and many others… but my favo goes to Intrusion oscar de la renta.
Why ? i don’t know, i felt this suitable for me and the fragrance even last over 24 hours ( saturday til sunday without bath nor shower )and stain on my bed sheet. I love to wear this on sunny season / summer while for rainy season i preferred hugo boss deep red or nina ricci or carolina herera 212 sexy.
Anyway many friends of mine wondered why the fragrances on me is considered long time ( more than 8 hours ) after sprayed once. They also confused why those fragrance ” released ” the same smells when its already spread to my body whilst most of them couldn’t get the same smells as in bottle when they sprayed it to their body.
I don’t know… but lipstick and foundation also did same. Whatever the color is, cheap or splurge, it will reflect the color of lipstick or foundation itself. I love Armani foundation and blush on. But lipstick i love Dior and Shiseido

I am so curious about it, what would be Oscar de la Renta – unisex type? Usually their perfumes are too much feminine, tons of sweet flowers and fruits…

  34. :

    5 out of 5

This one really made intrusion in my mind…I,v been a bit addictive to this scent and like it more and more.I just noticed how good it works with my body chemistry in cold weather now.I can clearly smell prominent note of star anise blends with freshness of citrus in the opening and it is really delicious ,then comes creamy flowers and blend of anise/fruits is not that prominent more but still there. Finally dreamy musky dry down, with hint of shy amber to smooth all to perfect creamy, ,fresh, really gourmand trail .Extremely well blended composition of this Oscar de La Renta ,attractive lite gourmand perfume, easy to wear allover the year With a hint of trophy aquatic feeling, which I love and it lives on my skin up to six hours …SHINY…
I find it quit similar to Goddess ,Gres, just not that loud and far more pleasant…

I bougtht this blind based on reviews, and I’m very pleased. I got the edp and it is rich floral/citric – almost lemony – but I don’t smell the gardenia, just the lily. I think the citric aspect gives it a unisex vibe, and my husband loves it. It really is a little gem. It isn’t at all cloying, and it’s freshness allows it to be a tad modern. If I don’t really like or love a perfume, I tend to use it as a room freshener or with laundry. I don’t think this one will ever fall into that category. I’m looking forward to wearing this, hopefully for many years.
I would rate this a 7.5/10 for fragrance, 6/10 for longevity and sillage. Intrusion is a fine perfume from this century. The simple, long crystal bottle is lovely and fits the perfume.

  36. :

Intrusion is a clean smelling, soapy white floral. Floral fruity gourmand? There is nothing gourmand about this. I really can’t even smell anything fruity. This is a straight up floral to me. I like this because of its subtleness. It’s soapy without being aldehydic. Clean but not like laundry detergent, more like fresh flowers. No sweetness, as there is a very mild greenness here. This is a mixed white floral bouquet. Great for most occasions, as I can’t imagine how anyone would be offended by something like this.

I tested “Marry Me” by Lanvin today and it suddenly reminded me of a fragrance I’d had already. The silver paper box was the first thing to come to my mind. Then, the bottle came to my mind. Then, the name of the fragrance began to fight hard to come up, but it wasn’t easy: a name starting with “I” came to my mind, the handwriting-type name in the bottle and the box came to my mind but still, I wasn’t able to remember it. Was it “Intuition”? No: Intuition is Estée Lauder’s and this one wasn’t. Int… Int… “Intrusion”? Yes! “Intrusion”! And what about the firm? Coudn’t remember… Oscar de la Renta, perhaps? Yes, definitely! “Intrusion” by Oscar de la Renta! a fragrance I’d forgotten to have had… I loved it! I wore it especially in Spring and Summer… a I think I bought it twice… A fragrance you can find in Uruguay more. It’s a pitty!

I ordered the edp refillers blind, because they were so cheap on perfumeclick, only 6.10 the 2x 30 ml edp, and also based on the reviews here, which I always enjoy reading and respect. Although I think it is a good scent, to my taste I do not find it anything special. It smells very fresh though, and it is well structured. If you are into fresh scents, you will appreciate it I think. Myself, I am more into oriental and oriental floral fragrances. I much prefer Oscar to intrusion, by far. Also I find intrusion sort of unisex. THe staying power is fantastic.

I had a small vial of this, and I didn’t like the way it smelled on my skin. I simply threw the vial back in the cupboard, along with some men’s samples …
Forgotten, when my husband and I were off for a holiday, I upended the samples into his shower bag. When it came time to apply, I convinced him it really was men’s (he had doubts, due to the orchid on the packaging), so he applies it after his shower and shave, and this was amazing. It no longer had a super floral/chemically mix, the kind that induces migraines, but rather was an intriguing mix of citrus/floral manliness and was an eye-opener.
I haven’t repurchased, but am open to may other ‘floral’ scents for my husband. And though he’s a very masculine man, or maybe because he is, there’s a whole world of scents open to us… if they don’t work on me, they might on him.

I brought the other day Cashmir and the woman from store gave me a small 0,5 ml Intrusion bottle.I epected to be like bluah and to throw it away but to my surprise it reminded me so much of my highschool years as I keep spraying and spraying allover…It also reminds me of Sun from Oriflame even if this one is expensive and Sun is a cheap one…But they both have the sweet honey scent and it teleports you in a yellow flowers summer field.

What a lovely/adorable scent! Last but not least, there are two different perfumes to talk about, EDT (light pink liquid) and EDP (crystal yellow liquid). I really like both, EDT is more floral, soft and girly, it’s citric and ideal for day by day. EDP is more deep, intense and I can smell an exotic blend of lily, ambar and gardenia, it throws away each citric notes. It was created for powerful women, it’s wonderful and I prefer it. I don’t know how a person can’t like it. The best perfume from Oscar de La renta (EDP version). He manages to exceed even my beloved Rosamor and Oscar for men!

About the sillage of Intrusion. This was several years ago. I had bought the bodylotion to Intrusion, ’cause I had the perfume at home. Then I wore the bodylotion alone, without the perfume, to work. I was afraid it would be too much with the perfume. One day a female workmate commented that she could smell where I had been, by my perfume, she said. Note that I didn’t wear the perfume, only the bodylotion. She said it smelled wonderful and that the scent was still there in the dressingroom, even when I wasn’t. She came to work an hour after me, so I had already left the dressingroom way before she walked in there. So this perfume doesn’t just fill a room. It stays there after you have left! But it’s such a fresh scent that it’s not offending anyone.

Why did they discontinue this wonderful perfume? I always got compliments wearing it and I loved the smell. Thankfully I still have it, so I guess I have to be carefull with the drops now, using it only on very special occasions, so it’ll last longer. One of my favorite perfumes. So fresh and seducing in a way. When I smell it, it’s like I’m falling in a dream or becoming hypnotized by the smell. It’s just wonderful. Many of Oscar de la Renta perfumes aren’t sold in Sweden(where I live) anymore, which is a shame, ’cause he’s a favorite of mine, along with Chanel, when it comes to perfumes. I love Oscar de la Renta perfumes. I bought almost all of them when they were still sold and most of them smell wonderful and Intrusion was the best one in my opinion!

OK, first of all I have to admit, I just can’t be objective in this review. This fragrance contains my three favorite flower notes (jasmine, lily and gardenia), plus it was created by two of my top five noses. And…here comes the surprise…..OK, there’s no surprise. I really love the fragrance. Such a gorgeous, luminous silky white scent! It starts with a pretty strong but pleasant citrus note that gets much softer quite quickly but on my skin it’s still present. The lily that rules the heart of the composition is lovely and authentic, I get just a touch of sweet jasmine. Gardenia adds a bit of buttery creaminess. I can’t detect any star anise or patchuli on my skin. The fragrance settles into a cozy amber-based white floral with a touch of citrus. It’s elegant, feminine and lovely.

Such a refreshing and delightful scent! I love this! Although I’ve only had one bottle, I can always remember the smell. It does smell like Acqua Di Gio for men to me, which I also love. I thought it was just my nose, but when I visited a friend, his brother came into the bedroom (I was staying in his room during my visit) after I had sprayed some Intrusion. He said, “Ummm. It smells good in here. Smells like someone has been spraying my cologne.” I said, “No, it’s women’s perfume. Let me guess…..You have an Armani cologne that smells like it?” He said, “Your perfume smells just like Acqua Di Gio for men.” After that, his brother (my boyfriend at the time) started using my perfume, and people always guessed that he was wearing ADG. I had to hide it from him so that I would have some for myself.

Very fresh! Summer and spring fragrance, still easy to wear any time of the year… kinda everyday sporty perfum. I use to say for this tipe of perfumes ….”scents for everyday pouring””
Intrusion is composition of grapefruit – with a drop of mint – and vanilla-amber… this is what I get when it opens. Later on it sattles to a nice grassy, fresh floral scent.
Proper for anytime when you want to smell very discreet and sporty-like. The scent is very close to skin, however it’s long lasting.
Overall is not something special, but I like it! I will repurchase for sure, however I already have two back-ups.

i have the edp intense version, pale greenish blue juice… gourmand? no way, to my nose it’s a floral aquatic.
i don t get the staranise, the first blast is fresh begamotte and it turns quickly to a nice white floral perfume with a mossy ambery base and a bit of musk… to me it’s not warm in any way. it’s niiice to wear in summer, elegant and loglasting, but nothing really outstanding.
it smells quite exactly like My Manifesto by Isabella Rossellini but deeper because of the patchouli in the base, what’s a good thing…
i’m a bit disappointed about the lack of the mentioned staranise in the pyramid what would have done probably that special trick to me in this fragrance. i was expecting something else more fruity-gourmand and unusual-intriguing. i think this classification on fragrantica is just wrong.
but well, it was on a cheap sale price, the bottle is really nice – cubic and modern – good to handel in the purse, it’s a comfy scent suiting for any occasion, so nothing wrong with it. just did not fullfill my expections.

This was a blind purchase as my favourite online retailer had it reduced and the notes here looked interesting.
I am totally in love! Firstly, when I opened the box and saw the ultra modernistic bottle I was immediately drawn to it. It it a very beautiful and minimal design and it made me feel sophisticated when spraying it!
Initially for the first minute or so I wasn’t sure I would like this fragrance. It smelt savoury spicy and I felt a little disappointed. I was expecting something more floral. However, this literally was the initial stage for a tiny amount of time. Within 5 minutes the fragrance had warmed to my skin, it felt like a beautiful flower opening slowly, unfurling its petals.
I had been expecting more of a citrus opening, but, although the bergamot and grapefruit are clearly discernable, they are gentle and warming rather than “in your face”. They seem to caress the floral notes which slowly appear. The florals are understated, not to say that they are indistinct, but rather that they are not harsh, but well rounded and well blended.
This is an extremely well orchestrated fragrance. It is a beautiful and underapreciated gem, in my opinion. I am happy to have made its acquaintance and I am hoping this will develop into a long and happy friendship.

I don’t like it. It’s a kind of fragrance that brings Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks to my mind. These white flowers… the scent is so cold… it’s not gourmand! No, thank you. The bottle looks like a modern furniture – nice one.

I have the body creme, its a light feminine great fruity floral blend. It is heaven in a jar! Perfect for daytime. Looking forward to using it again this summer. I like it better than the original on me, it never lasted.

This is a pleasant, feminine floral with a sweet edge that isn’t cloying or fake. The citrusses were pronounced to begin with and then it drifted into soft florals and off my hand within 2 hours…not really full bottle worthy for me but a nice elegant scent.
