I’m not surprised that no one has reviewed this fragrance, as it doesn’t commonly appear beside Reyane’s more readily available offerings. From the initial spray, what you get is anise, so much anise it remains present throughout the duration of the development. It reminds me of Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin. However, whereas Au Masculin becomes very praline and gourmand, this one leans toward leather, and even latex. The middle of the fragrance is a wierd mix of lavender, sandalwood, and leather/rubber. If you get past this stage though you are left with a pleasant mossy, patchouli, amber, Tonka base. So it’s less sweet than Au Masculin, and a bit more butch. It’s really quite a good casual winter fragrance. Performance is very good for this one. I get good sillage for the first four hours, and arms length for the next 2, after which it will linger especially on clothes. Longevity 10hrs although I’ve smelled this in clothes the next day. Anise lovers should check this one out.
