It’s honestly like sprite in a bottle, comparatively it’s a far better sprite than Tok’yo Mama Fizzzzz by Smell Bent, which is marketed as Sprite in a bottle.
I loved it. I used to wear it absolutely everywhere, which is probably why I finished the bottle in 4 months.
It didn’t last too long, maybe 6-8 hours. But the silage was more than arms length and it was very pleasant. This was one of few fragrances I’ve been complimented on.
If only I could get another bottle. It’s an aquatic in my opinion, but not a synthetic smelling one.

David Beckham Instinct Ice is my go to scent for when I wake up and want to feel fresh in the mornings, it bursts open with a citrus smell with a hint of pepper, and then dries down to woods and florals that are sometimes detected in between.
The top notes don’t last long on my skin before I can smell woods then a hint of florals. The longevity on my skin is 5/10 for me, but its price and the pick up and go 30ml bottle makes it easy to reapply throughout the day.
If you want a bright and vibrant wakeup call in the mornings than this is the fragrance for you, just be prepared for the fragrance to dry down through the notes quickly.
*Note* This fragrance is currently this month’s signature scent for me, as it is perfect for them hot summer days.

Should be more potent to be an EDT!!

Quite ‘rare’. Poor quality ingredients. Poor longevity & sillage. Occasionally I get an extremely faint whiff of something floral & pleasant, but it’s so anaemic as to be worthless. Not good value for money despite its cheapness. Pretty bottle & top, but who cares? Waste of money and would not get again.
Cynical as it might sound, even though it’s got his name on it, given its low quality I doubt if David Beckham would bother to wear this (or for that matter any of his fragrances) himself. If presumably it’s not good enough for HIM, then why should it be good enough for US?

A pleasant citrus/woody scent. Longevity is not good though. The drydown gets a bit floral and is fresh. It reminds me of Quorum Silver a little. The bottle is a lovely frosted glass with ice blue liquid and magnetic top. Instinct Ice is an OK fragrance which you could wear anytime or any occasion, if fact it’s good for work and in summer. If it was a lot more powerful it would be a good one.

Ain’t no expert but I find the drydown similar to Davidoff’s Hot Water. Like the Ice quite a bit. If it doesn’t last just double up and it will.

?
if the male (or female – no difference) scent was built with poor ingredients, then it’s doesn’t long lasting and it’s stability is poor
all scents David Beckham are made with cheap ingredients

Bought this to add to my ‘day time’ collection. After a few uses I have used it for all occsions and never has it been out of place.
You do have to spray it a fair few times but if you do you will be rewarded with a great smell that lasts through out the day.
It has the David Beckham brand base note that is in the majority of his scents, which I really like as it adds identity.
I would strongly recommend this to people as it is better than some fragrances that are three times its value… I knew he was former England Captain for a reason.
Results:
Scent: 8.5/10
Sillage: 8/10
Longevity: 8/10

I really liked the original Instinct although I found it a little sharp. Intense Instinct was dark, fruity, spicy and sexy, yet Instinct Ice is refreshing, light and comforting.
I sprayed this on myself the other day, and let me tell you ladies, this can definitely be unisex.
It opens rather citrusy with subtle pepper notes. Initially this fragrance does smell rather masculine and has many similarities to the original Instinct, just perhaps much fresher and lighter.
After about an hour, the scent really softens with the birch, geranium and rosemary creating a lightly herbaceous and woodsy quality. The scent is still fresh however a somewhat milky sweetness, which turns very feminine on my skin, comes through. On a man’s skin or another’s chemistry this may or may not happen.
The drydown is very smooth and peaceful, slightly woodsy and sweet from the tonka bean.
Unfortunately the lasting strength is fairly disappointing, however male scents in general don’t tend to last very long anyhow. I still recommend this fragrance despite the lasting strength being poor, to anyone of any age or gender.
