Description

Bentley is launching two versions of Infinity fragrance for men in Spring 2015.

Infinite Intense provides a long-lasting and stronger composition with a higher percentage of aromas (15%). Tart black pepper leaves stronger impressions in the opening of the composition, combined with geranium, lavender and violet. The heart abounds in spicy flavors by combining nutmeg with warm resins of Siamese benzoin, elemi resins and ambergris which ensures a modern masculine scent. The base develops warmth and precious shades of woody chords, patchouli extract, Haiti vetiver and Moroccan cedar, enveloped by the sensual scent of musk. The fragrance can be obtained as 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

The flacons of the Bentley Infinite collection were created of top quality heavy glass resembling carved crystal, whose straight lines subtly become elegant curves. The “flacon shoulders” are covered in metal, and the metal stopper contains the logo of the brand—a letter ‘B’ with wings. The fragrances have been on the market since April 2015.
The nose behind this fragrance is Nathalie Lorson.

Its an amazing perfume. A must have. I bought it after smelling it on a friend. Very masculine. Opening is peppery and citrusy that settles down to very mildly sweet likeable heart notes.

I thought I liked this cologne at first, but after a while, I started disliking it…intensely. It seems like a failed attempt at making a different cologne that was rejected, then picked up by Bentley and put on the market.
I get the Terre d’Hermes comparisons, but it excludes some of the best parts of the Terre d’Hermes formulation: the orange, vetiver, woody and the flint notes. What is left you might ask? Not much. Sweet sugary blah.
I also get a vibe similar to Dark Rebel by John Varvatos but without the badass notes….Infinite Intense has things in common with both without distinguishing itself whatsoever.
Too blah and actually started giving me headaches. I sold this quickly.

I too get the TdH comparison but only at first spray or from the nozzle. It quickly dries down to a dry, pepper, Ambergris and Violet scent that I really like.
I got this on a ‘damaged packaging’ deal so a great price and the batch code tells me it is a 3 year old bottle but still this projects nicely without being offensive. It is smart manly as opposed to rugged manly.
I’d happily buy this again. My next Bentley selection is going to be Bentley For Men Absolute – The GpH comparisons are just too enticing. :o)

Ok after a full day’s wearing l, it starts off like Terre D’Hermes but in no way does it smell like it in the dry down. The dry down on the Hermes smells like dirty oranges & sweet potting soil. The dry down of this smells like burnt notebook paper-

It does smell like Terre D’Hermes, like It must have been the same guy that made both and just labeled them differently. This is a bit brighter though, it gives me the vibe of some expensive ass aftershave. Nice value

Smells pretty much like tdh. But I’d say don’t waste your money on this frag. Performance of this infinite intense is mild. poor projection and longevity.
Rather, try Lomani AB spirit Platinum. It’s cheaper and lasts longer that infinite intense.
Overall a 6/10 in terms of longevity and sillage.

Today, Bentley Infinite Intense had a similarity to the original Colors de Benetton Man in the black bottle. Anyone else get this similarity?

I like it, but nothing special. I find it generic. It lacks the “wow” factor.
Nice fragrance though for Spring / Summer / hot weather.
    Average projection and longevity.

This is unfortunately a pass from me. Being a vetiver-lover I thought this would kick some more in that vein, but all I smell is an old school, metallic scent. Not my style (this would suit a suit-person better!)

ok…first and formost this is a vetiver fragrance and a bloody good one at that…now imagine putting terre de hermes and Tom for grey vetiver edp in the same bottle and you get infinite intense…now I’m not saying this is better than either of these two but it’s on par…I’ve owned several vetiver fragrances including encre noire, vetiver tonka, grey vetiver edp, terre de hermes, viaggio di Africa and this stands right up along side them…
on my skin it get a good 6 hours longevity and projection is good for 2-3 hours which is probably the norm for me.
So if your after an affordable vetiver or just love vetiver frags then this is a good one to have in your collection.
    A solid 8/10

Very Airy fragrance, light and natural when i wear this fragrance I dont feel it on me I feel it in the air. opening Reminds me of a more natural and complex Nautica Voyage, with better projection and longevity.

I am in total agreement with Gault below, with the ozonic spice comment seemingly a result of the pepper and benzoin, and comparison to Terre without the orange. I started off really liking the fragrance, but find the tenacious sharp pepper note a little offensive after a while and something that stops me getting close to the fragrance. I appreciate the quality and performance, but advise that you get yourself a tester and wear a couple of times before purchasing.

Smelling is believing, although Bentley is a young company for cologne but all of it is top notch guys perfume. This and Azure is a must have in my wardrobe.
Very nice, I would list it with Hermes, Creed and Tom Ford
    Thumbs up 9/10

Very different to TDH in my opinion – but I can see where people are coming from as there is a strong mineral note in the opening that does remind us of TDH. On my skin it is the note of violet that runs the show and makes for a beautiful, long-lasting drydown. There is an old school classy charm at play here, almost like an Old Spice/Habit Rouge kind of powdery vibe, which smells amazing. I expected this scent to take me in one direction but it took me somewhere else altogether. Very impressed.

This is a very unrated fragrance. Very quiet and smooth scent. Nothing to write home about. You have to be patient with it. Some smells take time for you to adjust to. Very classy and casual kind of scent. Glad I have it.

Have no idea why anyone compared it with Terre Hermes, which is totally dominated by orange which is nowhere close to be present here. If it is fair to say it is similar to some other perfume, it would be Ralph Lauren Safari. Although it is less complex or long lasting than Safari.
For me there’s one more common attribute with Safari – I can’t stand how it smells on me, but others tend to find it ok, and even compliment occasionally.

A solid fragrance. The comparisons to Terre d’Hermes are certainly relevant, especially Terre d’Hermes EDP. While lacking the citric qualities of Terre, it has the mineral note.
This starts out very potent with the pepper, vetiver, violet and lavender but quickly settles to something between Jil Sander – Sander Man (black bottle), Dior Sauvage and Terre d’Hermes EDP, all of which are good fragrances in my opinion, except for the Dior which is marginal in my opinion. The dry down is nice and slightly resinous while still maintaining faint wisps of the opening, all of which last an easy 8 hours on my skin.
A very safe fragrance for all seasons or occasions. Nothing otherworldly here, but fresh, solid and safe. This behaves like a decent designer EDP.
You could do much worse for the money. I have seen it for around 30 quid on the bay. I certainly do not regret the purchase. This is not as good as the Absolute or the Bentley Intense, but is is a nice fragrance. I would pick this over Dior Sauvage any day of the week.
    6.5/10

Giving it the first try, so I will need to make an update on how performs during the day, is a good impression to start with, but I don’t agree so far with the comparisons with Terre de Hermes and I have 3 versions of it they are different at core for me.

OK. This is a girl reviewing.
Infinite Intense is placed in Oriental Woody category and it says it all. It starts with a strong black pepper note and then turns to a wet woody scent (vetiver+cedar), reminding the straw or bamboo baskets under the rain or the jungles near the sea in humid weather which is actually quite lovely. Then lavender, benzoin and musk come along and make this woody scent sweet, which is not my favorite part (I don’t like sweetness in men’s perfumes). As the time passes, it just gets sweeter and becomes a bit unisex IMO. I love Nathalie Lorson creations and this one’s lovely too. Rather complex and multi-dimensional. The longevity is impressive as well. Next morning and my hand still smells.
All in all, it’s a good choice for the price. I blind bought this and gifted to my brother who is 22, but after testing I think it’s more suitable for mature men and for formal occasions.

This is the kind of fragrance i like, it is
a bit spicy and fresh, and it reminds me of
another fragrance that i cant really point
out at the moment, good one from bentley
but if you want the really good stuff buy Bentley
for men intense EDP and Absolute man for men
EDP they are the really great stuff from the company.

Terre d’Hermes without the orange is dead on. Great scent. Going to be my go to work scent for this spring. Bentley impresses yet again.

Doesn t smell like Hermes(Terre) to me , more like Bvlgari -Man in Black , spicies and something like tobacco liefs . INteresting in a good way , perfume , classy , easy to wear .

I think this scent is perfectly suited for a man in his forties and up. It’s not an attention grabber. Infinite Intense is not playful. It is a mature, and a little bit sensual scent with somewhat poor projection. But it’s wearable by younger crowd, too. It is also very unobtrusive and laid back. A man who is not trying hard to make a statement, he just wears it because he wants to appear decent. Mentioned factors make it ideal for the office type of work or indoor activities. It’s also good for upscale events because it smells rich.
The opening is pepper and violet. But the pepper, although prominent, isn’t too harsh and obtrusive. However, if you don’t like the smell of pepper in a perfume, I doubt you’ll like this one since the pepper is a prominent note (in the beginning only).
Later, the nutmeg takes the place of pepper and gives very aromatic vibe.
Some say Infinite Intense is similar to Terre d’Hermes but I don’t think so. It’s a different kind of smell.
Infinite Intense is the same smell like Oriflame Platinum. It shares most of the ingredients with it, too. However, Bentley is less harsh, less synthetic. It’s a more quality take on the same smell.
Platinum is much cheaper though, with similar or even better projection and a little shorter longevity.
Number of sprays? This is interesting. When the juice was new, the performance was very weak. I could easily go with 10 sprays. After the juice got in contact with the air, it began to develop into a very aromatic fragrance. After 3 months, the number of sprays I use is 2-3. Just remember not to judge this fragrance right upon buying it. It will get much stronger in time.
It’s a classy and elegant fragrance.

Next will be Infinite Intense Supra Extreme, followed by Infinite Intense Supra Extreme Extrait. And they’ll both last about 30 minutes.

@Gcsprotti you are spot on about it smelling like terre d’hermes! It’s a great smelling fragrance, especially the normal non intense version

Very good and classy parfume. For Spring and Summer, it reminds me something of Terre d’Hermes but more elegant. I found it in Harrods UK. They also have the edt version.
Longevity and sillage of the intense version are not the best. I should test a little bit more but to be honest I was expecting more for a parfume that it costs 90 £… Anyway the guy at Harrods was very kind and gave me, as gif for my purchase, a beautiful beauty case from Bentley in leather.
    Parfume: 8/10
    Longevity: 5/10
    Sillage: 7/10
