The musk and Amber are prominent on me with this perfume. Violet is present but too powdery. This perfume reminds me of what a vintage body talc smells like powder puff and all. A bit too old fashioned smelling for me.

At first spray, it takes me back to purple candies and a frozen, non-alcoholic fruity cocktail atmosphere.
Sometimes a little whipped cream and light white chocolate. little and not creamy. more a sorbet than an ice-cream.
This phase is powerful but clear with raw amber which accentuates sweetness.
It evolves into a clean, heavy, toilet powder, a bit retro but still gourmand.
Only female, young, diurnal and good for the warm months.
This is a rare case where sillage and longevity are exaggerated.
Try it. But only if you love purple candies drowned in powder.

I love the other two in the coffret (cacao and amber) but this one doesn’t do it for me. On my skin it is a fruity floral with an odd “aftertaste.”Almost synthetic in feel.

So you go to the store because you need to buy some baby powder for some reason. Youre bored of the normal one so you decide to buy the new sugar candied violet baby powder 9000 something…. baby powder thing.
You go home to your bathroom which your gf was using so it smells “girly” lets say and you try to get some out… *tap tap*
Nothing comes out…
*tap tap*
wtf man….
You raise it above your head to see if you got screwed and got one that was empty.
*boom*
It explodes in your face, and now the whole bathroom and you are covered in this candied violet baby powder thing.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…… Much different than the other 2 chocolate ones from this line, also much more synthetic if you will smelling. And much more feminine. Meh/pass for me~

Indigo Vanilla….I like it and it is growing on me, but so far it is just a like.
Definitely violets with their powdery violet ways — but also there is quite a bit of musk.
It does get a wee bit sweeter after about 2 hours on skin. but I would never call it sugared or candied. I do smell the white chocolate note, but it is not strong.
Knaxaide’s review below is SPOT ON! I would not call this gourmand. Not at all.
Defo something fans of powdery violet scents or vintage lovers would really go for.
Don’t get me wrong, Indigo Vanilla is lovely and very well done. For me, I think I could use more white chocolate here, and more sugary sweet. LOL.

This perfume is the prefect powdery candy violet — just like those old fashioned candies. Extremely, intensely sugared and sweet violet, layered on top of the creaminess of the white chocolate. The white chocolate is less sweet than the sugared violet note — more of a milky, condensed milk scent with a little vanillin. Delicious! My favorite violet scent. I can’t emphasize enough how beautiful the violet note is. Lasts a long time, 6 hours plus.

I smell violet powder and musk. The violet powder reminds me of Besame’s pressed powder compact and there is so much of it that one might sneeze at the first whiff. The musk is a clean soapy white musk and the overall effect of the notes gives an elegantly old-fashioned vibe. This fits a lavender boudoir with lots of frills and feathers, impractical but beautiful bijou and ornaments decorating the unmistakably feminine abode. Sillage and longevity are excellent as with the other two members of this gourmand series, this being non gourmand to my nose though, try as I might to smell the white chocolate note. I would recommend to lovers of violet powder and vintage vixens.
