I can’t detect any similarity to Coco Mademoiselle, Narciso Rodriguez and Shiseido Zen. And I wouldn’t call this perfume strictly European style. To me, those reviews were very misleading. I know I know, I can only blame myself for buying perfumes without properly trying them first. But I just wanna warn people like me – you shouldn’t always rely on reviews, even if they have many upvotes.

Mmmhmm, yes, absolutely, I’m totally on board with Indian Dream.
Very pleasant. Very, uh, mainstream. I’m pretty certain I’ve smelled this countless times before. Almost as though Mancera decided to produce the most mainstream-est, mainstream department store fragrance EVER.
Warm, feminine, slightly sweet and powdery white floral. There is a slight recently-showered-and-my-shampoo-is-to-die-for-vibe.
Good longevity and moderate sillage. I’d buy this instead of countless cheaper bottles for the upgrade in performance.

    Is it ground breaking? No.
But my husband, who doesn’t really like perfume, thinks this smells lovely. It doesn’t smell “perfumy” which is probably why. It’s cream and floral and very pleasant.
It reminds me of a lassi (not the mango kind, blech). All milky and sweet and good. But with a bouquet of flowers on the table and a warm breeze that’s just barely hinted with something spicy.
I like it. It’s easy to wear, comfortable. Like a white linen dress. It won’t win any fashion awards but it’s what you reach for when you want to be comfortable.

I usually love Mancera fragrances but this was a bit of a disappointment. It’s not unpleasant, but it lacks personality in my opinion.
I don’t feel the name is relevant to the fragrance, not sure what makes this a dream, and I don’t get an Indian vibe out of it either…not Native American, nor the citizens of the subcontinent.
It’s very sweet, there’s a strong candy blast in the opening, i was hoping for something stronger, spicier but couldn’t find it here. Average longevity, not the same beast sillage you get with other Mancera fragrances.

i really dont know what this fragrance is similar to, but upon sniffing it for the first time i felt its a princess, silky smooth, posh and best part is not loud but LONG lasting…its a dream alright.yes its feminine but i may pick it up for myself….the floral bouquet combo in this is that dream….LOVE it, men can use it too if they like florals…none of the floral notes dominates individually and they arent headache inducing…LOVE the bottle.summer and springs

I am quite dissapointed. The opening is not very different from the base, you get a pretty linear fragrance. I agree that heliotrope dissapears quite fast.
The name Indian Dream and the pink bottle is a bit misleading. It has the same DNA as Mancera Aoud Café minus oud and cofee – the musky vanilla + sandalwood in the background (also the same base as Mancera Aoud Bkue Notes). It is basically some type as Flowerbomb, nothing special. The longevity is very good as most of the Mancera.
    Definitely try Before you buy.

Opens with a sweet, textured floral presence. The texture is a bit abrasive, something like a sweet woods/aromatic spice. This develops into a vivid, somewhat heady bouquet of florals. All of the florals come together and present their dynamic facets amongst the next, each also distinguishable from the next if you get close enough.
The florals set atop a sweet, resinous, subtly overbearing Amber; whose own heady qualities push the envelope of intensity even further. Most Mancera fragrances I’ve sampled seem to thrive on a creating a sensory overload; I’d almost call this the mark of the brand; and the aromatics from this one definitely carry that mark.
For that quality alone, this seems like an admiral fragrance; but it is above all else a considerably heady floral-amber, whose judgement might go either way based on the eye of the beholder.
From a distance (or in humble amounts), it seems to maintain a nice balance, and could offer a little of the best from both worlds (floral and gourmand); with qualities that are both inspiring and comforting.

Although the review stating this is some kind of “man magnet” is intriguing, it just smells rather ordinary after 1/2 hour. At first, the geranium and SANDALWOOD were in full force, along with the Heliotrope, and it was kinda nice, then it died and became mostly a skin scent with MUSK vanilla–the white, laundry, SYNTH musk. By the drydown it just was any old Flowerbomb or flanker of the same–nothing special. I will however, have to consider testing the “magnetic” qualities reported a few reviews below mine; if I get “seriously sniffed”–I’ll report back. It’s got to be good for something one hopes…

    Mancera Indian dream
What a disappointment from Mancera! An ordinary concoction, hurried and unloved by the creator. I imagined a torrid, reverberating, multi-hued offering, redolent of monsoon nuances and brimming with dewy petals. As powerful as most Manceras.
I found it diluted and synthetic. My nose burns and itches.
I’m happy for people who enjoy it.
I give it 4 out of 10, for the pink bottle mostly., and signature packaging.

I’m moved to write about this one because it blind sided me. First off, thank God no oud. Very feminine and delicate. It reminds me of lingerie, pink and ruffled. I actually almost gave up on this one as soon as I tried it. I thought, what a familiar scent, not wowed at all. Let it take it’s time to simmer and develop on your skin. It becomes very intimate, soft, sweet, floral. I wore this to work today thinking let me take it for a ride today before tossing it into the umm, it’s OK, category. I tell you Indian Dream is a sneaky little Bitch. As soon as I got around people, the comments came rushing in. Wow, you smell sooooo good, what is that?! A few men at work kept walking by to inhale deep breaths of the scent, they literally could not get enough. I felt like a scratch and sniff sticker, minus the scratch. One male co-worker stated how good I smelled and in the same breath said the smell is a ‘perfect scent.’ A was just astounded, I could barely smell this scent on myself, but it was knocking guys out left and right. Very well done.

Now I have tried to spray Indian Dream on my skin. What a differens – I tried to dab it on -nothing. With 1 spray -wow this scent is gorgeous. A bit spicy thanks to the Helioptrope. Perfect for fall/winter.
Nu har jag provat att spreja Indian Dream på min hud, vilken skillnad! När jag dabbade på den så doftade den nästan inget alls. Nu har jag sprejat och den är helt ljuvlig och med en mjuk utstrålning.Aningens kryddig tack vare Helioptropen. Perfekt doft för höst/vinter.

I was gifted a sample, so I dabbed this one on my skin. Its skinclose. A warm Heliotrope but pale. A very nice scent but its just in my skin – no trace at all. Longlived but I will not buy it. Happy to have tried it anyway. I will try other Mancera’s.

Nice smell. I love heliotrope and vanilla also, I feel these 2 notes more evident in the evolution of this perfume, this enchants me a lot, has a good performance but is not a monster like most Mancera creations.
    I value this perfume:
    Smell: 9/10
    Projection: 7/10
    Longevity: 7.5/10

It is a very pretty fragrance. The heliotrope is very evident on the opening along with some jasmine and neroli. Rose adds sweetness whilst the amber adds warmth and some depth. The rose geranium lifts everything and acts like a stage light for the other notes. I get a little musk but first and foremost its a warm floral on me.
The dry down is all about amber, rose and sandalwood. This quickly turns into a skin scent but it hangs around for hours.
A very feminine scent that probably best suits warm temperatures to bloom well. I wish it had more umph and then I would go fb.

Oh my God oh my God this juice is the dogs bollo**s my only problem is that I would love it to be more prominent in all departments but that said it still last a decent amount of time and the name the smell reminds me more of Morocco a have a fair few Indian friends from school and adult hood so am well used to the predominantly Indian herbs and spices which centre mostly around the strong savoury aromas but all in all I love it x

I have mancera rose vanille and mancera cedrat boise and while I find both of them nice, longlasting and very well-projecting and I like them, they’re not among my top favorites
I was hesitant about mancera Indian dream.once I was a floral girl but now I’m into gourmands and oriental vanillas but a 120ml bottle for less than 70$ was Unbeatable.
It’s bottle and packaging is simply adorable.so elegant and feminine and I love this golden leathery bag of it
Mancera Indian dream is so beautiful that I was almost crying.it’s simple and this simplicity is very gorgeous, appealing and elegant.indian dream is a modern floral.to my nose heliotrope is the most dominant note so if you love it’s velvety powdery aroma you’d love this.there’s also a soft touch of fruity rose(like rose and raspberry),orange blossom and a hint of Jasmine
This is a super pretty fresh floral bouquet but it becomes even better thanks to sweet, warm, fluffy cloud of vanilla and amber and subtle creamy woods
Indian dream is gentle and feminine.it’s sweet and delicious without being really gourmand.I can’t think of an occasion that this would sound out of place.it’s versatile, wearable all year round, day and night, for office, date and daily basis
I really love it and I’m happy to have such a useful perfume.it’s soft, modern, pretty and classy
When I first applied it I thought it’s not a strong perfume but actually it’s longlasting.it’s soft veil clings to skin and clothes for hours.. My friend complemented me on it after almost 6 hours without coming too close so it might not be that light but unfortunately I can’t smell it myself and this makes me unhappy
Highly recommended if you’re looking for something simple and beautiful
    ❤❤❤❤❤
I have to change it from five hearts to four hearts
It smells lovely but I wished it was stronger.I douse myself in it and still I can only smell it when I stick my nose to my skin
Other mancera perfumes are sillage monsters so it’s a pity that this one is not

A really lovely perfume. I love all the notes, especially the vetiver, rose, heliotrope, orange blossom and amber. Also the sandalwood is a lovely supporting undertone. I love Indian Dream, it’s gorgeous. And the heliotrope is the most prominent note. Heliotrope is such a glorious smell, and everything else in Indian Dream is blended so well, to make this a definite favourite. A lovely, sweet, floral that lasts for ages, and always brings me compliments. Indian Dream is a dream, a delicious delight.
Oh, and I love the bottle. It’s beautiful – and so is the gorgeous colour.

After testing this precious perfume (I got a sample from a Lovely Friend here), I’m almost sure I’ve never smelled a more contrasting scent. It begins with an extremely bitter/herbal note – not Geranium but Pelargonium (the plant whose image is shown here as Geranium)combined with orange blossom but then it turns into a sweet and warm combination with dominating rose/vanilla/sandalwood combination, with a bearable bit of musk. It’s definitely an upper-shelf perfume, due to its complexity and roundness, ingredients seem to be of high quality, no screechy notes at any time, not even in the bitter beginning. It lasts forever, the longer worn, the better and the sweeter it smells. I would NOT compare it to Indian Summer by Priscilla Presley but it is also perfect for warm, late summer evenings. Worth a try more than once before buying.

Mmmm so good. I love the heliotrope notes, and the Geranium though not sure that’s what I’m smelling. Nice and sweet with the vanilla notes but not overbearing, hints of orange blossom make it fresh too. I’d considering buying this if there’s a smaller bottle than 120 ml!
Second test somehow not impressed. It feels like a fairly insignificant floral today. Always best to try a few times.

OK and nice but not a love for me neither… I expected a more characteristic fragrance and I miss my lovely jasmine.

  21. :

    4 out of 5

Highly pleasing, this one, but for some reason not a love. The jasmine manages to turn sour on me but at least it’s not poopy. I find the orange flower dominates and there is a vanillic character to it that is highly becoming and creamy. Heliotrope is a definite star player as well. If white florals are your thing, do try this.

The bottle is just precious , feminine and glowing with prettiness . The scent is totally feminine too, an epitome of grace and delicate womanhood . Despite the color of the bottle the Rose doesn’t come across as the most proeminent note…. For my nose it is the heliotrope that wears the crown here… Every other note is just supporting the creaminess of heliotrope … Roses, Jasmine, orange blossoms, all of them are in the background . The perfume is fresh, beautiful, elegant, clean , very wearable. I tried other Mancera perfumes and I own Roses Vanille … And while I can say that Mancera has obvious quality, they are usually a tad too strong and sharp for me; not this one … This is a refined creamy floral that can be worn anytime, anywhere, by anyone. Simple and beautiful without being groundbreaking in any way. Recommend to all who aren’t looking for dramatic clouds of perfume or unusual and unique combination of notes, but rather for a feminine and elegant floral scent.

On paper, I shouldn’t really like this frag, as there is sandalwood, rose and vetiver. But, I love this. It is so well blended. There really are three stages to experiencing ID and all of them are delicious. I don’t have to wait around for the dry down, before feeling euphoria.
ID gives me a thrill every time I smell it. My heart skips a beat. This frag has got to be in my top five. I intend to keep a bottle in my wardrobe for the rest of my life. One of the most glorious scents I have ever had the pleasure of wearing.

Someone here mentioned that Mancera’s Indian dream smells exactly like Priscilla Prestley’s Indian summer. I have only a couple of sprays left of my Indian summer and since its discontinued and I love it so much, i decided to take a plunge and try out Indian dream by Mancera. I had to order it online. Was thoroughly disappointed when it arrived. To me it smells NOTHING like Indian summer. I would not recommend it at all to replace Indian summer.

Hey guys this pefume is the same as Priscilla Presley’s Indian Summer!
I wonder why no one noticed this similarity! It was a blind buy for me, smelled the unique memorable fragrance and just realized later that the name is not occasionally the same 🙂
Wonderful spicy fragrance. All of you who miss Priscilla’s Indinan summer, let’s try Indian Dream!

First time I can smell such a gentle, white rose in a perfume!
Surrounded with orange blossom and a hint of jasmine, Indian Dream is not such a loud scent like other Mancera`s products.Sweet and flowery reminds some Turkish delights, special jellies coated in flour, called Loukhoum. There are some more interpretations of them, beginning with Loukhoum by Keiko Mecheri or Serge Lutens` Rahat Loukhoum. But Indian Dream is different, not so sweet or overpowering.Gourmand but with clear rosy accents.Flowers and sweetness are well balanced. Some musky and ambery tones in the drydown add a bit of depht. It would rather be floating in the air like Indian… summer to make smelling cloud around a person wearing it than staying close to your skin.
Very feminine, intoxicating, suitable for summer evenings/nights scent.

I’ve spent two weeks wearing this on evenings out and I’ve got to say, I’m a fan! This is Narciso Rodriguez EDP meets Shiseido Zen. ..In Istanbul.
This is a well blended cocktail of rose (damask?), musk and orange blossom with a sharp vetiver undertone. It’s very East meets West – typically western notes but somehow it manages to smell almost slightly middle eastern.
So far I’ve had a few compliments and have been told it smells very expensive. Always a bonus considering how much it cost me! A very positive introduction to the world of Mancera. Thumbs up!

I have to say Mancera have not disappointed to date.
To my nose this is a stunningly original rose, just in that it doesn’t really smell of rose!
It’s a white floral affair which again…doesn’t smell like your typical white floral because of the dose of sweetness in there.
It has an almost synthetic, candy feel to me that rose turns into a Turkish delight and jelly sweets, jam with a breeze of jasmine and musk with a hint of the balsamic and soft amber like base.
I think there’s a hint of spice in there too or just a tinge from the other florals perhaps? There’s a touch of creaminess that hint of vanilla from the amber accord and sandalwood but neither are pronounced.
I thought it was pretty stunning to tell you the truth, exotic and interesting.
Lasts okay and is blended to perfection. I mean it was hard to define in note terms but in a good way rather than an unfocused way.

A fragrance that is different from the usual of Mancera. Typically feminine, soft, like a gust of wind warm and vibrant, but shy and polite. Clean and so pleasant.
