Cheeky – I like it! A sharp spank of spice at a reasonable price.
Cheap, cheerful, kicky black pepper coming through really strong and clear on my skin at first – even enough to cause that edge-of-sneezing feel. Maybe a shade less nuanced than the same note in CDG’s Blackpepper, but lasting at least three times as long. The rest (incense, spices, wood) is less detailed and intriguing but perfectly good. Not quite opulent or longlasting enough to be spice heaven, but really good fun and exceedingly wearable.

Holy cardamomy! Is this simply delicious or what?? I didn’t think it’d smell THIS genuine! (It’s not like some other ingredients that are so expensive where they have to use crap instead lol)
It’s the kind of realistic semi-sweet cardamom found in Voyage d’Hermes Parfum with nice supportive background. My instant favorite! Doesn’t last very long though 🙁

Love it <3 One of my favorite SB scents. This one is spicy, unisex, and sticks around. Very pepper/cardamom/myrrh to me.

this opens up with pure cardamom and honestly not much else. a minute later i get some woods and pepper, but it’s overwhelmingly cardamom on me. it reminds me of this cardamom torte i made once in high school, but without the sweetness and pecan. it’s actually making me a little hungry. finally after about 5-10 minutes i get more incense and it becomes a cardamom-incense combination. kind of fresh zen-like. i like this and it’s not too close to other incense scents i have, fortunately.

i like it a lot.
in the opening, cardamom is the main note. a spicy cardamom. i also think it is slightly citric. as time goes by, it slowly changes into a beautiful and close to skin incense, with the correct amount of sweetness to make it comfortable.
a cousin of the reformulated version of NU (which I love even more), but unraveling it’s parts.

The cardamom is aggressive in this and very green in the beginning, along with the sharpness of the pepper. Once it mellows out it’s more pleasant but you have to wait quite a while to get to the dry down. I was expecting more sweetness to this, and it is mostly sharp spice. I don’t get any smoke in this one. Of the two I prefer the original “Incensed” version.

All I can smell in this is cardamom. Kinda weird at first, but I’ve had it on for a few hours now and it’s mellowed into something nice and fresh…with a little incense smell to it.

This review is based on sample set I got from SmellBent. It opens up smoothly with black pepper, cardamom and myrrh. Kinda reminds me of Casbah by Robert Piguet. Wears close to skin with below average projection and longevity on my skin.

Very very nice and soothing…..to my nose a close relative of Tam Dao, a sweet ‘n spicy sandalwood….
