This perfume is a very sexy jammy jammy Blackberry scent. Blackberries are one of my favorite scents! So I adore this perfume very much.

Great longivity and very interesting perfume. I love this so much but
I don’t know if it appeals to the general public

Wow!! This has fantastic longevity. Very nice perfume, I smell sweet syrupy fruits to start with then the dry down is intensely spicy. It lasted for hours when I wore it for the first time yesterday and a total stranger asked me what my lovely perfume was. I do think the spicy drydown has a slight masculine edge but it’s not unpleasant. I could still smell this on my arm at bedtime, a good few hours after applying. Very impressed with this indeed!

Spicy, sexy and sensual with a dash of intrigue. This scent has pleasantly surprised me because it has far more to it than I was expecting. Great, especially when it’s hall price!

By the first try I was not impressed. I tested it side by side with Imari Fantasy and it seemed soapy sweet. But then I read these novel worth of reviews of the “third sister – slut” etc.:D and had to try it again with more open mind. And, boy, did I like it this time. I agree to all saying this is dark and it makes you think of “dirty sex” not literally but poetically speaking – it is the mood of doing something forbidden, dark or even illegal, so wear this when you go bank robbing and want to leave the men scared, impressed and strangely desiring after you.
There is a phase somewhere in the middle when it smells like fire, burning leaves in the autumn. Very strange and spell binding.

Everything I didn’t like about Imari Seduction I do like about Imari Elixir. I gave away my 2007 bottle of Imari Seducation to my sister recently and she returned the favor by finding a full bottle of Elixir to add to my collection.
Very sweet, a little sassy, and a good Spring/Summer scent. As it is currently late June as I am submitting this review, I will see if it speaks to me in colder temperatures as I am often a “see how I feel” on any given day when it comes to about 75% of my perfume collection.
Someone mentioned Bath & Body Works Twilight Woods and they are spot on, this is a dead ringer for that scent to my nose as well.
I continue to acquire a lot of Avon, both old and new. Sometimes there’s a hidden surprise in the vast collection of fragrances pumped out by Avon, and this one is somewhere in the middle.

Smells okay, but makes me cough so much…I was on a bus going somewhere with this on & I kept coughing all the way :/. Smells like a lot of orchids to!!

Sweet Berry Vanilla – smells a bit like Tixy-Lix childrens cough elixir to me. Its not unpleasant but not something I would wear myself.

Imari Elixir smells like an Avon, that Avon DNA is very present. It is quite fruity and a little tart. It actually smells better then other fruitchouli cheapies I have tried but that said it is still a pretty generic offering. pretty decent silage. After a bit, this smells just like fabric softener.

  10. :

Imari Elixir is a sweet scent but this sweetness is like a berry syrup, lasting and sillage is moderate. It little smells cheap but worths what you pay.

If your a fan of this scent, hoard as many as you can since avon will discontinue producing this flanker for imari bold at least here in philippines.

I get the blackberry/ylang/apple in the opening…then all the other notes blend in. I have the 2015 version, which is most likely re-formulated…so…maybe the original was better. This is not a “bad” scent…just..I find it very average/generic to my nose.

I love this perfume, it smells so sweet and delicious and it’s also very long lasting. I can totally smell the berries and the vanilla, the rose not so much. Good for colder days, because it’s very strong. Can’t believe it’s such a bargain.
UPDATE: Apparently I can’t really wear this anymore, it tends to become sour on my skin. It did not do that the last winter when I bought it, so maybe it got bad or my skin PH changed somehow. I hate to say I don’t like it anymore.

I have worn this quite a lot lately. The spicy berry is very crisp. Very few perfumes last longer than three or four hours on me, but this stays with me for at least eight. Will purchase again.

I heard about this perfume and I decided to buy it.I really don’t regret it!To me,it smells amazing! It’s oppulent, sweet and luxurous. It’s sweet, because of the vanilla, but you can also feel the rose and the berry. And like someone else said,it has an old vibe to it,that brings uniqueness to the perfume. It reminds me of something familiar, but i can’t really put my finger on it…
In other words, amazing perfume for a cheap price!

This smells EXACTLY like another Avon fragrance, which is not here on Fragrantica.. “Secrets to Keep Midnight” I ordered a little bottle for $6.99, I am wearing each on either wrist and the only difference is its lasting power. STKM has faded within a few hours, but IE is a powerhouse.. both rich berry.. slightly spicy.. warm, unique.. I like.:) STKM is much cheaper if you want an inexpensive taste of Imari Elixer, Also, it is drastically discounted because I believe they are discontinuing.

With the TTA daydream my favourite Avon fragrance. I don’t like most of their parfumes, but these two make me happy. There’s some character in them and I like that.

On me it smells smth between tresor la nuit and midnight rose..it’s very different from the other avon scents..i love it !!!

It’s a HUUUUGE scent!!!! Beautiful rose, sandalwood, vanilla, some amber and a little bit of natural patchouli. Amazing, loud but elegant, long-lasting, exotic – reminds me of some Tom Ford perfumes. Although Imari would rather wear me that I’d wear her, but I find it totally amazing and I keep sniffing the cap all the time!:D
I’m really happy that AT LAST an IMARI perfume is available in Poland!!!

I’ve had a great relationship with my Avon lady for years.
When I first began to buy other Avon products besides skin cream, fragrances became part of my every day life as a public schoolteacher.
There have been so many Avon fragrances that I’ve enjoyed over the years.
Now finally through Fragrantica I can contribute to reviews on their wonderful perfumes.
Imari Elixir is a flanker for Imari which is an Oriental chypre that resembles Coco Eau de Parfum. This one is as far from it as possible.
What you get here is a fresh sweet fruity floral perfume.
It’s sweet, simple, and youthful. It’s dainty, too, and doesn’t throw up too much of it’s own scent.
The green apple, blackberry and citrus is delicious.
The first spritz is a fresh citrus burst but it fades quickly and becomes a sweet berry scent.
The berry makes you realize that this was probably aiming at younger girls early 20’s. The blackberry has a kind of tart sweetness that never gets too cloying.
Floral notes include rose, jasmine, ylang ylang.
I can totally smell the rose and jasmine it’s floral in the floral shampoo sort of way, and the sweetness is heightened by that ever present blackberry.
Flowers and berries, pure and simple.
The dry down is vanilla, a kind of vanilla cream that smells really good. It’s almost but not quite a gourmand vanilla. It also has a slight green note which is the patchouli leaves.
There is also a clean and warm amber that finishes off the fragrance.
    Fruity, floral, sweet and feminine
Imari Elixir is best worn in spring and summer as a casual scent, every-day, office/work. It’s not making any statement at all. It’s just a sweet perfume.

A very *potent* sweetened dark berry scent. It was just a little “too much” for me. The scent wasn’t bad but it just overwhelmed my nose. After months of hanging on to it, and realizing that I never reached for it, I gifted it to a family member who was excited to have it!

Makes me think of going clubbing in the 1980s when we used to sneak cigarettes – smokey hair and too much lipstick 🙂

This has everything I love, berries, rose, and vanilla. It is beautiful. But it is very sweet. Could be perfect with something smokey or woody to ground it. But it’s nice, for the price nothing to complain about.

  24. :

100% agree on wearing in the COLD weather!
My first try was pretty gross… the middle rose note was the most potent and lasted forever, and it was making me sick. I liked the sugary berry opening and the next day drydown, but I can’t do that rose.
Now that it’s FREEZING in Michigan (seriously, below 0) this is absolutely a LOVE! It’s so bright and potent, and stays in this sugary berry vanilla for most of the time. (I can detect the rose, but it’s minimal) A must have for winter! I’m so glad I even bought a lotion before I realized the rose was icky. 😉

A hint of rose, raspberry with Smokey vanilla.
    Gets compliments galore.
Avon had many hits in their recent releases especially with the ladies perfumes.
Come on Avon give it a whirl and make a gourmand male fragrance already please.

I’ve always liked the original Avon Imari. It’s about as good as a cheap fragrance gets for me. I saw the Imari Elixir on sale on the Avon site and ordered it. To me it has a similar cheap, sweet smell as Imari Seduction.
It isn’t awful, and my husband did say I smelled nice, but it just isn’t the quality scent I prefer. I normally wear Estee Lauder scents, or Clinique Aromatics Elixir. Now there’s an elixir!
This new Imari doesn’t seem especially long lasting, either.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

Exactly as noted above. Very straight forward. Smells amazing on my body. The rose note lingers the longest on me. The blackberry smells so authentic.
I wear this about three days a week. I prefer this to original Imari. Sometimes I wear this layered with Shalimar.

  28. :

    4 out of 5

I can’t figure this one out.
Some days I get an unappealing tart, sharp berry and others a slightly more appealing sweeter, softer, smoky berry.
Just when I thought that I had settled on chalking Elixir up as another Avon frag purchase fail, I was working late into the night and this gorgeous, sweet, berry/vanilla/rose note in the form of the Elixir dry-down was revealing itself and had transferred through to the fabric I was working with. I’d nearly say that it was sensuous, mature and full bodied and hard to believe that it was an Avon frag.
Is the gorgeous dry-down worth the hit and miss wait? I’m kind of undecided. Sounds like I’m going to have to road test this gal through a few seasons. By the end of that I’ll probably have developed a nostalgic connection with her 😉
It’s summer and humid in these parts:
    Sillage: Moderate (depending on layer)
    Longevity: Very Long
**EDIT: Cooler climes. A cooler climate makes all the difference! Quite endearing, especially as night wear. Not bad going for an EDT with a sticky label on the bottle!**

I’m going to be in the minority in my review and I certainly don’t want to upset anyone who truly loves this perfume, but I’ve tried it thru hot weather, cool weather and now the much colder nights, and unfortunately, it still doesn’t work for me. I’m not one to try a perfume once , say I dislike it and write a review. I realize different days=different results=different reviews. Especially if it’s a negative review, I’ll try to figure out why.
On me, with my chemistry, Imari ELixir turns to a dirty-smelling perfume that becomes stale and dry as an old wooden crate. The notes sounded wonderful but they didn’t come together for me. The blackberry, apple and mandarin combine to give a juicy beginning that lasts a good half hour until the unsettling not pleasant sex-in-a-bottle effect begins and the juiciness of the fruits dissipates. There can be a good sensual sexiness to a perfume and there can be a skankiness. This is the latter for me.
Initial sprays are true to form of juicy blackberry and apple with a hint of rose, juicy, warm and sweet. It’s delicious at this stage. On my skin, this perfume turns on me into a harsh, bitter and screechy scent that I don’t enjoy wearing. It’s just too dirty and dank.
I love patchouli and have worn it for years and years. I realize there are different ways to process patchouli and at times, depending on the way it’s “cured”, it can smell different. There is one patch that does not agree with me that smells absolutely “dirty” on me. That’s where the dirtiness comes from in Imari Elixir for me. I’ve only noticed this effect in two other perfumes from other perfume houses. Patchouli should be sweet and green. When I read other reviewers use the term “dirty hippies patchouli” I often wonder if they are smelling a patchouli where it has been stored in a manner that gives it a dirty smell. I just wish the term wouldn’t be used embracing all hippies that used patchouli as dirty creating a stereotype, because that’s absolutely not true. It’s how the patch is developed, not the person that’s creating the dirty smell.
It may be its formulation, but this is sour and medicinal for me.
The bottle is a nice chunky glass but topped with a cheap plastic cap that screams shabby. That could have been designed with better thought.
    Try before you buy.

I was disappointed with this perfume, sadly. The little sample phial I got wore beautifully, but the moment I spritzed myself with my new, full-sized purchase, I knew I was never going to wear it again.
It’s very sweet on me, with the vanilla being almost all I can smell. It’s lasting power is something else however, I could still smell it on my coat after a couple of days!

  31. :

Imari Elixir is a tart berry scent. It is not sweet, and it has only a touch of musk. Those qualities set it apart from most other berry scents.
Elixir starts and stays strong, it is linear, and it has a nostalgic feel to it. It took several wearings for me to appreciate it, but now I love it!
This fragrance is PERFECT for layering under heavier musky scents. It can provide juicy topnotes to stand up to any oriental heavy hitter! If you think you don’t like it, wear it a few more times, you’ll likely become a convert:)

I really like this perfume, and I don’t think anyone would ever guess how inexpensive this perfume is. It smells as nice as some of the much more expensive brands. It seems to have decent sillage and longevity too, which I’m grateful for. I’m so impressed with this, that I think I’ll also try Imari Mystique, which I see gets good reviews. I tried the Imari Seduction, but wasn’t in love with the plum note.
I don’t think this smells anything like Bath and Body Works Dark Kiss. It’s way less sweet than that, and less cloying.
Update: I actually think this smells as good or better than some of my much more expensive perfumes. This is a sexy, classy smelling perfume.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

Whoa…This is probably my most surprising inexpensive find of the year. I’ve never had much luck with Avon perfumes, much less heavy berry bombs, but this is a winner. Juicy blackberries, rich vanilla/amber combo, and velvety red rose petals. Appropriate sweetness, toned by the rose, enough so to keep it from falling into candy territory. I also get a hint of incense, but not sure from where. It’s actually quite seductive and sexy. If patchouli is in this composition, I don’t smell it–thank goodness. It then would have fallen into Flowerbomb, LVEB territory and it doesn’t. WootWoot! I like patch, but it’s been overkill lately.
The bottle is somewhat boring, unattractive and cheap-looking, but the juice inside totally makes up for it.
Longevity is great, 6-8 hours on skin, 12 hours on clothes, and projection is fantastic!
Every time I spray it, my husband asks, “What smells so good?”
It reminds me a lot of The Body Shop Smoky Rose…they definitely have the same succulent, berry sweetness.

There’s a spicy thing going on here. It’s the patch then sweet berries w a dirty rose in the background.
Does anyone think this is close to Trevor Midnight Rose?

  35. :

    Bought it today.
It’s a beautiful scent which remembers me Suntuosa by Ésika. It starts with a fruity blackberry note, followed by rose and delicate vanilla. I also detect sandalwood which makes this fragrance very oriental and femenine. I loved it a lot! <3

  36. :

    5 out of 5

To me this smells nothing like the balsamic Dark kiss. On my skin it is vanilla, amber, with a waft of plum and faint floral that does not remind me of roses in particular but is a heavier floral than the white floral group. It is a heavier ‘winter’ scent but does not project out and kill everything in the room. It fades in the dry down but remains a faint vanilla, slightly spicy floral scent for a few hours.
I like it but, to my surprise, I like the Imari Seduction repackage which I bought at the same time much more. Imari Seduction is a plum jam, vanilla, winter scent that is deeply comforting and seductive to wear.
For $25 bucks, I’m not unhappy with these two!

I got Imari Elixir today and am very pleasantly surprised. This is not bad at all. IE reminds my very much of La Mome by Pierre Balmain. That sweet fruity note hits me right away and stays throughout. About 20-30 minutes after applying the rose comes more to the front and takes on a somewhat peppery aspect on my skin which fortunately doesn’t stay for too long as prominent and settles more into the background and in doing so takes off that rough edge and gives the blackberry note a smoother and rounded maturity. La Mome and Imari Elixir both share a vintage nostalgia I thoroughly enjoy. I find the IE to be a bit lighter and more wearable than LM I must say. I have to explore it a bit further but sofar I am really impressed by this scent.
I forgot to mention that staying power is very good on skin and excellent on clothes.

  38. :

Lush, wet berries, and sinful vanilla, sexy, ultra seductive, a va-va-va-voom scent, it smells all American and not cheap but young, it smells like a young woman who’s already got men all figured out, who knows the way to flick her hair and swish her hips, the way to glance smouldering over her shoulder to make men stop in their tracks.
It smells as simple and wholesome and lusty as midnight fumbles in the drive in with the prettiest girl in school

Beautiful scent…a cheapie that doesn’t smell cheap at all…happy with this purchase, a little goes a long way with good staying power
My first order from avon-far away gold was disastrous. it gave me terrible headache..the smell to me was like toxic, it stuck in my nostrils for hours & I had to eat something with strong smell to remove it.

Cocotea is right, it’s incredibly slutty, I love it, I love it so so so much, juicy berries, vanilla and some subtle scent of eau de slut, add in incense and this is how I am truly meant to smell

  41. :

    5 out of 5

What a pleasant surprise this is. Imari Elixir is seriously juicy. A casual sniff may lead to a ‘candy’ interpretation, but a moment longer and I get lots of blackberry juice on a bed of vanilla with a dash of rose.
This sounds like some celebrity fragrances, but Avon’s rendition is higher quality – more truly gourmand, and not so chemical. For lovers of sweet or juicy fragrances, it’s a real arm-sniffer. It makes a good ‘poor woman’s La Vie Est Belle’, with similarities to the Black Opium / Meow (etc etc) family of similar fragrances.
If that weren’t enough, it also packs a punch. It has decent sillage and great longevity. It also layers quite well, cheering up some of my cooler, more serious frags.
Oh, and it’s dirt cheap! AU$15 for 50ml.
Imari Elixir is currently perched on my winners podium, shoulder-to-shoulder with far pricier offerings. Kudos to the creators.

The second I smelled Imari Elixir on the booklet, I fell in love with the perfume, I couldn’t wait for my order to arrive. The second it did, I spayed it on and loved it more. If you’re into dark sweet scents that make you feel seductive, you will love Imari Elixir.

i pushed three sprays on inside my elbows and neck, the scent was very strong and heavy at first, then the scent got smoother and nice after an hour(i believe). i’d rather wear only one spray or two next time.

I got this cheap on ebay, (well the retail is cheap!) because it has been suggested it’s similar to Black Opium by YSL.
    Um? What?
Ok, the first blast was soooo good! Sugary blackberries!
But 80% of the rest was a floral ugly musky Avon mess. I have never enjoyed an Avon perfume…. they all seem so cheap and old lady.
The next morning, I smelled a lovely vague comparison to Black Opium. (dark vanilla)
This was a paper test, so I will try on my skin later.
Like any addict, I never listen. I should have. And gone with my gut instincts that Avon does not make good perfumes IMO. Let’s hope on my skin, it turns into something wearable.
On skin…. on a very hot September day (not typical for upper Michigan) I actually really like this! Reminds me more of Loverdose Tattoo with the rose and vanilla. I’m not crazy about the rose in Elixir, nor in Tattoo, but I do like Exilir on me. I can see the comparison to Black Opium now, it’s just a faint similarly though.
Just bought another bottle with a lotion for 11.50. I like this more than Tattoo…. in Tattoo, the milk plus rose smells like sour spoiled milk, Elixir is smoother. Yay win! Always try a skin test/2nd impression. 🙂
The middle is again too floral, but I layered with one squirt of Midnight Fantasy and the result is lovely. I think it may layer well with many Rhiannas or the Wonderstrucks. Yeah….. damn…. this musky rose middle is not good for me. 🙁
Now that it’s winter in Michigan, this is AWESOME! Strong, good lasting power, and stays like a sugary vanilla berry. Much happier in the cold!

This was a blind buy because A)it’s inexpensive and 2)the notes sounded good.
I got it today and it’s quite nice actually! It’s much darker and deeper than most of Avon’s (recent) creations, so the name Elixir suits it. I don’t get any patchouli on my skin, but I do get booze for some reason, even though there’s none in the notes. On my skin, it’s a dark, boozy vanilla with some sweetness mixed in. I got the perfume and lotion on Ebay as a set and really, for the price, who can complain? I do wish it lasted a bit longer (around 3-4 hours), but hey, it’s still nice.
Good job on this one, Avon!

Ok..I got this two days ago. You know that song by Dolly Parton that goes Jolene Jolene please don’t take my man just because you can? Well imagine the original Imari, Imari Seduction and Imari Elixir are sisters. Ok? Good. Original Imari is like the matriarch, strong sturdy, wise and level-headed. Imari seduction is the sweet middle sister, full of wholesome goodness. And the last sister is Imari Elixir. Elixir is a slut. She doesn’t pretend to be anything but. A dark lipstick wearing, fishnet stocking with no underwear under a barely there leather miniskirt, boobs on glorious display, who goes out on the town just looking for somebody’s man to steal..for the night anyway, kinda girl. You hated her in school, but envied her boldness, her ability to go through the awkward teenage years with a smirk and a slightly knowing smile as you tried to hold your boyfriend a little closer when she walked by…
Yes, this is how Jolene must have smelt as she was about to steal Dolly’s man. Imari Elixir opens with a blast of spicy berries and the spiciness stays all through the wear. It smells hot and sultry. There is a lot of patchouli in this, and this must be the source of the spiciness. Later on many hours into the dry down I get hints of vanilla and what must be sandalwood or some type of wood. This perfume smells like making out in a hot car until the windows start fogging up and you start sweating, and have to start removing pieces of clothing before you burn a hole into the back seat….
I don’t know how they managed to come up with a set of notes and blend them together so that when you smell the end product it invokes a time, a place, a person, a feeling… This is the only perfume I have been terrified to wear outside my home, it smells like sex. And I like it.
Oh and sillage and longevity are awesome by the way. Even after doing the dishes it was still stubbornly on my wrist when it was applied about 6 hours earlier.

Unfortunately, while the redesigned Imari bottles look modern and streamlined in pictures, this bottle looks very cheap in real life. That said, I am pleased with the scent of Imari Elixir. It is a yummy berry with obvious Oriental influence. One of the better Imaris IMHO. While no more ground breaking than any previous Imari, for the current sale price of $12.95 USD, which includes a body lotion, well worth the money.

I tested this new imari elixir this afternoon to pay for my due date and to pick-up orders and i was ready to purchase this one. But, when i tested the testers along with the other re-design bottle of the imari classic, seduction and velvet i was a bit dissapointed. Im hoping that this imari elixir will be a redeeming factor the discontinued imari mystique. If you miss imari velvet, this is completely its modern version, just remove the powdery amber dry down. Mix imari seduction’s fruitiness and add sweetened blackberry and apple plus add fergie’s outspoken then you’ll have this as its end result.

Wow this is beautiful!! Such a warm sweet and smoky vanilla. I smell a woodsiness as well. When I first sprayed it I smelled burning wood, but a good burning scent. It reminds me of a more feminine mahogany woods for men from B&BW. This is my new favorite from Avon.

I was so excited at the sound of this mix of notes in the ads and in the reviews here…but sadly, I got my order today, sprayed it right on… and on me this blend is pure bug spray. I will try it again as I in fact had suntan lotion on with it and that may have thrown off the whole experience. Couldn’t wait to shower it off. Fingers crossed for its second and last chance on a day when I’m alone and won’t worry that I’m a walking Raid promotion!

Oh, I love this! I’m so curious where avonman gets all the notes from, so frustrating that Fragrantica is only listing what’s in the ad copy for all new Avon blends. 🙁 Well, the ad copy I can find anyway, maybe it’s listed elsewhere and I’m just not finding it.
Sweet, rich and yes, dark berries! Longevity seems really well for an EDT, too. It’s not terribly interesting or weird for those who like something different but it’s so delicious, pleasant and happy. I adore its sweet, creaminess and rich patch drydown. It was just released and the promotion price for $13 for 50 mls right now, worth every darn cent plus!

I smelled this is the catalog which I will come to in a while. Anyway smells very berries and cream. Right up my alley, and I can’t wait for my order to get here. Don’t they just reel you in with their advertising campaigns? Using phrases like tempting juicy blackberry essence (uh..yes I want to be tempted by blackberry essence), seductive rose absolute (What is rose absolute? But yes yes, I want to seduced by it) and hypnotic pure vanilla extract…(Vanilla extract? Like what I bake with? Ok sure..hypnotize me vanilla, hypnotize me!) Damn you Avon and your clever marketing! Preying on those of us who can be swayed by your honey coated words. And I like it. But doesn’t the word Elixir just smack of decadence and opulence and expense? Or is it just me?

Imari and Imari Seduction have not merely been repackaged… sadly they are also reformulated. In the extreme!
Imari now equals SOAP. Very pretty soap, but not much else. Lower longevity and sillage.
Imari Seduction is high pitched and thin, completely lacking the balsamic pipe tobacco depth that I love. No longevity and little sillage.
Of the three in this ‘Imari Fragrance Collection’, the new release, Imari Elixer, is the most quality in terms of strength and longevity. Those who love berry centric scents really ought to give this budget thrill a go. Elixer is sweet, vanillic, berry-licious, and also seems to contain Patchouli. Very nice indeed.
Among these lovely notes, something comes across as tangy in a stinging sort of way, a note I cannot put my finger on. For me, this note took over and didn’t go away until dry down. More than one person told me it smelled a bit odd. I am not discouraged, having tested Elixer on a very hot summer’s day. Come winter, I’ll give her another go!
    Recommended for testing.
    Good Value. <3
Update – I’ve just smelled Black Opium, and it reminds me of a cousin or another flanker of Imari Elixir. They have something in common that I can’t quite put my finger on. Neither one smells more expensive than the other, IMHO.

Excited to try this! Just bought one on ebay for $5.50! Cant go wrong with that price!
:/ just got a sample and there is totally patchouli in this. I like patchouli but there is something else in this that is giving me a headache and coming off very chemically. I also wonder if there is yuzu in this as I get bad headaches from yuzu and I got a bad headache wearing the sample of this I got. Will have to get used to this. Also I hate the new bottles. Its just a cheap sticker and cheap plastic cap. Not the good kind of plastic, its hard to explain…thin plastic?

Dark sweet scent….moderate sillage ,stays about 4 hours on my skin….very much like flowerbomb….could be delicous on the right skin…

This is a new fragrance launch and joins the other 2 that are only repackaged for the 30th Anniversary of Imari. The noses on this are Rodrigo Flores-Roux and John Gamba.
    From the press info:
Three decades ago, the seductive scent of a rose inspired one of our most successful fragrances. Enticingly rich, Imari was just the beginning of what would evolve into an iconic fragrance collection. Today, Imari is celebrating with a new look and a new scent, Imari Elixir.
    Imari Elixir
    Eau de Toilette Spray
    Where passion deepens
Feel the long-lasting impact of Imari Elixir, opening with juicy blackberry and indulging your skin with rose absolute and pure vanilla extract.
