Description
“It was an August morning in Madagascar, we were on the river of Mangoro next to the downriver, when suddenly we heard a strong, but delicate fragrance of Wild Fruits in the air. In the distance we noticed a huge orchard of Vanilla Bourbon. This magic moment gave me an inspiration to make this perfume where bitter notes of Wild Berries, Raspberry and Redcurrant were being made delicate and continuous with notes of Vanilla and Musk.” – a note from the perfumer.

As you can see from the picture above of the bottle of this fragrance it is vanilla and fruits of the forest. I Profumi di Firenze list it as a vanilla, vanilla orchid and red berries with a slight musk base.
This fragrance does what it sets out to do – very realistic sweet red berry scent enveloped in warm vanilla. I notice that all I Profumi di Firenze fragrances go through a minute of smelling like hair spray – I think this has to do with the type of alcohol that is used in their formula. It is definitely worth it to wait it out for that minute. The company apparently has a cult following for the Vaniglia di Madagascar and this is that same famous vanilla topped up with red berries. Did I mention that it smells edible and delicious? Simple but perfect.
